Polylactide composite materials with organic filler-modifier starch, inorganic filler -calcium carbonate and plasticizer – epoxidized soybean oil for 3D printing have been developed. On the basis of the modular deformation method of calculation the elastic-plastic and deformation properties of the developed modified polylactide materials are determined. The change of modulus of deformation, modulus of elasticity, modulus of high elasticity depending on the composition of the composite is revealed. The surface hardness, Vicat softening point and thermomechanical characteristics of the developed polylactide materials are determined

The values of the highest heat of combustion for the dry ashless state of combustion of 35 samples of vegetable raw materials and 35 charcoal were determined. The need for calculating indicators of their technical and elemental analysis was established. Mathematical and graphical relationships between the actual and estimated values of the highest heat of combustion of plant raw materials for the production of biogas and charcoal were developed. A statistical analysis of the dependence data was performed. The results of the analysis indicate the adequacy of the developed dependencies, and allow us to draw a conclusion about the possibility of predicting with high accuracy the value of the higher heat of combustion of vegetable raw materials by carbon or oxygen content, and charcoal for this determination of the yield of volatile substances or non-volatile carbon.

The study results of the process obtaining of petroleum bitumen with improved quality indicators are described. The method of mixing the tar of paraffinic oils with the residue and the distillation of Orkhiv oil with subsequent oxidation of this mixture was used. To conduct the research, tar extracted from Western Ukrainian paraffinic oils was used. The influence of temperature, oxidation duration and air consumption on the operational properties of oxidized petroleum bitumens were determined. Samples of the obtained oxidized petroleum bitumen were analyzed with the determination of ductility (at 25 0C), penetration (at 25 0C) and softening point (ring-and-ball method). We established that the bitumen with improved operational properties obtained from the residue of paraffinic oils with the addition of residue from the distillation of Orkhiv oil to the raw materials can be used for laying asphalt pavement.

One of the options for utilization of polyethylene waste is low-temperature pyrolysis, the target product of which is pyrocondensate. In the work, the fractional composition and properties of the pyrocondensate of pyrolysis of polyethylene waste were studied. It was established that pyrocondensate and its fractions practically do not contain heavy metals characteristic of oil fractions. Pyrocondensate is divided into gasoline, diesel fraction and residue. The composition and properties of these fractions were studied in detail. X-ray fluorescence analysis and IR spectroscopic studies of pyrocondensate and its separate fractions were carried out. It was established that narrow fractions of pyrocondensate and residue can be used as components of commercial fuels only after additional processing.

The epoxidation reaction of 1-octene by tert-butyl hydroperoxide in the presence of TiB2, TiC and TiSi2 was investigated. It is shown that the titanium compounds catalyzed the reaction and exhibited different activity. It is established that TiSi2 is the best choice for theepoxidation reaction which provided 73 % of hydroperoxide conversion and 75 % of selectivity of epoxide formation. The performance of TiSi2 after three runs indicated it’s excellent reusability.

The article presents the results of a study of the influence of the molecular weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone on the properties of two-layer hydrogel/polycaproamide membranes. Composite membranes are obtained by the developed method, which consists in the formation of hydrogel membranes with subsequent deposition from a solution into their outer surface of a reinforcing layer based on polyamide modified with polyvinylpyrrolidone. It was established that the molecular weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone, both in the composition of the hydrogel membrane and in the modifying solution, has a significant effect on the interaction between the layers of composite membranes and their characteristics, such as water content, bursting strength , and osmotic salt permeability.

The physicochemical regularities of interactions in the starch-glycerol-epoxidized soybean oil system under the influence of ultrasound were investigated. On the basis of rheological curves, the effect of plasticizers on the viscosity of glycerin-starch systems was revealed, depending on the shear rate, time of exposure at temperature, and the nature of starch. On the basis of IR spectroscopic studies, the existence of interactions between the components of the system was confirmed. With the help of moisture absorption, the influence of the nature of the plasticizer on the hydrophilicity of the modified starch was determined.

The basics of the technology for the preparation of a spray formulation for external use with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects was developed. The quantitative content of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients was proposed. Comparative analysis of some indicators of the obtained spray with analogues on the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine was carried out. Material calculations allowed to estimate the amount of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients for the preparation of the spray and its packaging in bottles with a dropper in the laboratory. Based on the material calculations, a basic technological scheme for the production of the finished product was proposed. Economic calculations have been carried out, which demonstrate a high level of economic profitability of the development of such a preparation.

Kinetic regularities of catalyst activation processes in the reaction of epoxidation of ethylallyl ethyl acrylate with tert-butyl hydroperoxide in the presence of Mo2B were investigated. It is shown that the activation of the catalyst, which takes place at the beginning of the epoxidation process, mainly occurs under the simultaneous action of tert-butyl hydroperoxide and olefin. The ability to create complex with reactants and reaction products for the unactivated catalyst is significantly lower than for the activated one, and the formation of epoxide occurs practically only on the activated form of the catalyst. It is shown that the catalyst activation process can be described by the Avrami-Yerofeev topochemical equation and includes two successive stages – nucleation and formation of a new phase active in the epoxidation reaction.

The properties of blends filled with polymers of a different structure and low molecular weight additives were analyzed. Additives selection is grounded. It was established that three- component polymer blends have a sufficient fluidity value, which ensures the ability of obtained materials to be processed. The influence of the composition and nature of the components on the physical and mechanical properties of obtained compositions was studied. The adding of mineral filler into the polymers blend helps to increase dispersion and thus expands of application of mentioned polymer owning to their possibility to be processed.
