An error-controlling device for HF channels 高频信道误差控制装置

Practical biprocessor error-controling equipment (ECE) realised by the INTEL 8085 micro-processors has been demonstrated. Several shorter BCH codes for correction of 1 to 3 errors (codeword length is less or equal to 15) are chosen. The look-up table method both for the encoding and for the decoding is used. The ECE is intended for use on simplex, half and full duplex channels for the transmission rates of 50–9600 b/s, so both forward error correction and hybrid techniques are implemented. Variable modes of operation such as synchronous and asynchronous transmission with variable stop bit length, different character lengths with or without parity control, different transmission rates can be easily chosen by the switches on the front panel.

The teaching philosophy and the equipment developed for a course in microprocessor applications programming techniques suitable for retraining engineers in the potential uses of microprocessors is presented. A brief explanation of the application modules designed for the course is given and a detailed description of a typical application assignment is presented. The use of a high-level design notation language and the concept of stepwise refinement is introduced.

Programming and applications of complex associative processing systems 复杂联想处理系统的编程和应用

Associative processors have been found to be highly suitable for a number of demanding real-time applications. To take advantage of the capabilities of these architectures, some unusual algorithms and programming techniques have been developed. The effectiveness of these techniques, and the applicability of associative systems is demonstrated, using a signal-processing application as an example. The system is the Associative Linear Array Processor. The system architecture, the application, the algorithms and the programming techniques are described.

The introduction of programmed logic in industrial process control asks not only for hardware solutions responding to the requirements of the work environment, but also for a software structure capable of easy customization to various actual applications.

This paper presents the implementation of a programmable controller, microprocessor-based, designed with particular attention to software configuration techniques for the final product. The work here described was implemented at ZELTRON - Istituto Zanussi per l'Elettronica S.p.A. Milano, as part of the graduation work required to messrs F. Maderna and N. Scarabottolo.

BTL—A language for testing electrical equipment 测试电气设备的语言

A new application-oriented, high-level language is presented. This language, BTL, was conceived to provide a cost-effective solution to the problem of testing a broad class of moderately fast electrical equipment. Very general, although simple, BTL control structures allow the user to specify any testing procedure.

A microprocessor-controlled packet transmission system 一种微处理器控制的包传输系统

This paper describes a generally applicable microprocessor-controlled packed transmission system particularly suitable for small-scale point-to-point links. Fixed-length packets of any size may be exchanged on a full-duplex basis within the proposed system, where a virtually error-free transfer of information is achieved by means of a highly reliable protocol. The inherent sequentiality of the transferred packets is maintained by the system, so that data reassembly is not required. The effectiveness of the link, which is currently exploited in a local area, packet-switched network for real-time instrumentation and control, has been successfully verified.
