We would like to report on the test results of the four monoclonal antibodies distributed by Dr. Rouger.
These antibodies were tested by the use of the red cells of the dominant type In (Lu) and recessive type Lu (a - b -), some of them were from donors of Japanese Red Cross Blood Centers and SCARF's sample.
我们想报告Rouger博士分发的四种单克隆抗体的检测结果。这些抗体采用显性型In (Lu)和隐性型Lu (a - b -)红细胞检测,部分来自日本红十字会血液中心的献血者和SCARF的样本。

In this work we studied 21 human monoclonal antibodies (MABs) which appeared during the screening tests to have an anti-Rh (D) specificity. These antibodies were then tested especially by agglutination techniques using a panel of human red blood cells RBC of common and rare phenotypes in order to:
1 -
Confirm their specificity
2 -
Investigate their reactivity with Rh variants
3 -
Determine their in vitro potency (titre and quantitation) using various techniques.

Monoclonal anti-D reagents should ideally be able to detect cells which have deletions of the D « antigen mosaic , for example categories DV and DVI which are not infrequently found in the donor population. We investigated the ability of the monoclonal anti-D reagents to detect these cells and in addition DVII and DB cells. Monoclonal antibodies of other stated specificities were evaluated for specificity. All the monoclonal antibodies were evaluated as reagents for the investigation of red cell membrane structure using the immune complex isolation procedure of Mooreet al. [1].

Thirty monoclonal anti-Rhesus antibodies were tested : 21 anti-D, 4 anti-E, 4 anti-e and 1 anti-c, ragarding their specificity, avidity, intensity, titer and score. Their type, mode and mean were determined by flow cytometry assay.
Then, we tried to determine if the anti-D could adequately dtect Du samples and also studied their behaviour with 13 partial and 2 depleted D antigens.

Thirty-nine monoclonal antibodies (MAbs), of human or of murine origin, were tested by 18 laboratories (Table I). Several techniques were used to define the characteristics and in the quantitative determinations of these antibodies. Serological tests evaluated their specificity and activity and their ability to detect variant red cell antigens. Biological assays were performed in an attempt to determine their potential therapeutic usefulness.
