Article describes the method to reduce the time waiting of public transport and vehicles before the railway level crossing. One of the proposed methods - optimization of level crossing algorithm. The optimal level crossings time delay depends on the speed of the oncoming train. Time delay prediction algorithm based on track circuits primary parameters and other characteristics.

Bit error rate performance analysis of convolutional coded orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing system 卷积编码正交频分复用系统误码率性能分析

In this paper, the performance of a convolutional encoded orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) based wireless communication system has been simulated in terms of bit error rate (BER). In FEC channel coding, the OFDM based wireless communication system incorporates a convolutional encoder under various digital modulation schemes (QAM, QPSK, 8QAM, 8PSK, 16QAM, 16PSK, 32QAM and 32PSK). The computer simulation results on BER over an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) and other fading (Rayleigh and Rician) channels demonstrate that the convolutional encoded OFDM system outperforms with QAM modulation technique as compared to other digital modulation schemes and the system is highly effective to combat inherent interferences under Rayleigh and Rician fading channels. It has been anticipated from the simulation study with synthetically generated data that the performance of the communication system degrades with the increasing of noise power.

Analysis of the influence of the switching strategy on the IGBTs temperature in AC drives 交流驱动中开关策略对igbt温度的影响分析

This article analyzes the effect of the modulation strategy on the thermal behavior of the power devices in AC drives. Continuous and discontinuous modulation methods will be considered. Estonian experience in implementation of incentive type of price regulation 爱沙尼亚实施激励性价格管制的经验

Administrative resources of the regulatory body and the number of regulated utilities is an important criteria in selection of price regulation methodology. Estonian experience is based on a large number of relatively small utilities. The price regulation methodology implemented is incentive type of Rate of Return where the important element is the regulatory deterrence, where the company can select whether to apply for new tariff or to rely on the existing one. The administrative burden is minimized in this case. The results of price regulation indicate significant savings on energy losses and stable service tariffs.

Information and analytical system for power system life cycle management 电力系统全生命周期管理信息分析系统

The paper is concerned with the information and analytical systems for electrical grid equipment life cycle management at power stations and substations. The brief description of the modern information and analytical systems in electric power industry is presented. The data analysis and ranking procedure in the information and analytical system was developed for optimal equipment repairs program formation with the purpose of the system operation reliability improvement and further optimization of the grid companies' investment programs.

Specific of electret state of modified polyimide films 改性聚酰亚胺薄膜的驻极体态特性

The aim of this work consists in pursuit of electret structure with excess humidity and high thermostability. The charge relaxation mechanism in polyimide and modified polyimide films is established. It is shown that the layers of polytetrafluoroethylene on surface of polyimide films lead to essential increasing of electret state stability at elevated temperature and high humidity. The currents of thermally stimulated depolarization were analyzed on the basis of developed physical model.

A module voltage based maximum power point tracking algorithm for photovoltaic arrays under partial shading conditions 部分遮阳条件下光伏阵列基于模块电压的最大功率点跟踪算法

Multiple peaks in the Power vs. Voltage (P-V) characteristics of Photovoltaic (PV) arrays appear due to partial shading. Conventional Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms fail to track the Global Peak (GP) among the Local Peaks (LP). Special MPPT techniques are applied for tracking the GP under partial shading conditions. Various schemes reported in the literature perform blind scanning of the P-V curve in order to find the GP. This type of scanning takes a long time during which the array is not operated at the MPP. This causes a considerable amount of power loss. In this paper an MPPT algorithm is proposed which quickly tracks the GP of a partially shaded PV array. The algorithm avoids blind and unnecessary scanning of the P-V curve by finding the total number of peaks after tracking the peak nearest to the open circuit voltage (Voc). The tracking process is accelerated through the use of modified versions of the Perturb and Observe (P&O) algorithm.

Real-time model of switched reluctance drive for educational purposes 用于教学目的的开关磁阻驱动的实时模型

The paper focuses on the results of modeling electric drive with switched reluctance motor. The model is based on linearized representation of motor phase flux changing. Motor saturation is taken into account. Operating model algorithm is described. The model was tested with a simple control system designed with hysteresis current controller. The transients were examined, the power balance tests were performed. The results proved sufficient accuracy of the drive testing and confirmed the possibility of using the model in educational process.

Power quality enhancement using DVR based on ant colony controller 基于蚁群控制器的DVR电能质量增强

PI controller tuning is a difficult task under varying operating conditions. Optimal tuning of PI gains is required to get the best response of PI controllers. This paper presents the Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) using ant colony optimization based PI controller (ACOPI). The simulation results demonstrate that the optimized PI controller by ant colony (ACO) presents an advantage of little response time and best control performances compared to the classical PI. The major benefit of this approach is to provide a faster DC voltage response for different voltage disturbances. The simulation results show that the approach for finding the optimal controller parameters is not easy to be implemented, but very effective in improving power quality. The total arrangement is planned, established and validated by using MATLAB-SIMULINK environment.
