Latest High Performance Computing (HPC) platforms are built with heterogeneous chips such as multicore microprocessors and multicore GPUs (Graphic Processing units), thus they are commonly called as Heterogeneous High Performance Computing (HPC) platforms. Parallelizing applications on such platforms is mostly dominated by SIMD style of parallelism mainly to exploit GPUs' excellent floatingpoint performance. However, it is a restricted parallel model because the multiple CPU cores are not participating in the parallel execution, thus the full performance potential of heterogeneous architectures is not exploited. In this paper, we propose a generalized parallelization methodology to efficiently map applications onto the heterogeneous architectures and to exploit their full performance potential. For the methodology, we develop strategies to map parallel tasks onto different components of the heterogeneous architectures. A general parallel execution model beyond SIMD is adopted in the task mapping.

One of the issues in the health domain is the communication between doctor and patient. The quality and frequency of communication is very crucial on the patient's recovery. Social media come with it's great impact in socializing activities in recent year and it can be one alternative to solve communication problem in health sector. However, social media existing now are not fully in accordance with the needs of the health community. This paper reported the result of research about appropriate design of health social media. From this research, we can define three characteristics and functionalities of health community that must be fulfilled by health social media. That characteristics are security and confidentiality of information, difference of social data and health data, and the importance of the truth of information and the credibility of users that involved in health community.

Information technology currently supports the development of human interaction with virtual environment, this development will continue in developing in the form of Human Computer Interaction (HCI). In this study, how the environment 3D virtual computer should be able to recognize human hand as part as virtual object, so it can interact with virtual environment. HCI is a study in which the relationship between humans and computing technology and how computers are designed for easy to use by human, more practical and more intuitive. HCI emphasizes how human interaction with computer technology. This research is using interaction technique in virtual environment to interact between human hand and virtual object. Tracker is needed in virtual interaction by using Augmented Reality (AR), the problem that arise in AR is how to read marker, so it can display a virtual object that has been computed before, basically is how to read the geometry model of human hand, then the result from the processing of the human hand model geometry is used as a marker, so it can interact with a virtual environment on AR as one of the HCI model implementation. This process is intended for the movement of human hands that have been read as a virtual object can communicate virtually using image processing.

Cloud Computing allows the use of information technology based on the on-demand utility. This technology can provide benefits to small and medium enterprises with limited capital, human resources, and access to marketing network. A survey conducted on SMEs in the district of Coblong Bandung to dig up the IT needs and analyze their readiness to adopt cloud computing technologies. The survey results stated that SMEs' respondents are more suitable to implement Software as a Service with public cloud deployment method. SMEs are ready to implement this technology, but requires appropriate training and role models that can be used as an example because their technology adoption characteristics that are late majority.

The social networks have revolutionized the online communication and data sharing. The researchers are now focusing on mining and analysis of large amount of social network data for a variety of purposes. However, because of the huge amount of continuously changing data, the data analysis in a daunting task. OLAP analysis is a famous data analysis method which can be used to analyze social data. This work extends our previous work in which we developed interactive 3D visual data cubes for high volume/dimension OLAP data analysis. The implementation of this scheme on traditional computing resources is much time consuming and resource intensive. The advances in cloud computing motivated us to use the cost effective cloud computing for the task of 3D visualization of social networks data. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the usage of cloud computing platforms as a possible solution for analyzing large amount of social network data.

Information heterogeneity of ITS Indonesia becomes an obstacle to provide interoperability. The transportation information resource sharing is affected by this condition. ITS generally comprise a distinguished form of large-scale, distributed information system deployed in some form of tangible or virtual network. Cloud computing could benefits ITS for it's essential characteristics, which are on-demand self-service, broad network access, resource pooling, rapid elasticity, and measured service. By establishing Cloud ITS based on cloud computing, it is feasible to accommodate transportation information sharing platform.

This paper presents an evaluation of data delivery on Android applications implementing a health screening form. Typically, the health screening form provides an integrated view of various data (e.g. lifelog, health log, and medical history) gathered by diverse measuring devices (e.g. hear rate monitor, and inbody). From data delivering perspective, the health screening form also consists of multiple `Activity' interfaces in a single application or between collaborating applications. Therefore, we need to evaluate efficiency of data delivery among `Activity' interfaces in a single application or between applications. We use basic interfaces of Android platform such as `Intent', `Broadcastreceiver', `Contentprovider' and `Socket' providing a function of data transfer to evaluate delivery performance. The result of this work can contribute to select efficient data transfer interface while implementing the function of data delivery in Android application.

We introduce an efficient rendering technique using temporal coherence to make a 3D scene including complex but static 3D models. In order to render a realistic and complex 3D scene, we need to use huge amounts of polygon or complicate rendering algorithm. Almost computer graphics techniques have been researched to generate sophisticated image in real-time. Since consecutive image sequence has temporal coherence, a previous render result is a good resource to predict a current scene. We replace static objects with previous frames which are drawn for static objects. Fixed viewport allows us to reuse previous frames without any modification. However, sometime a static object becomes dynamic and we have to update previous frame. We reduced the update overhead by distributing static objects in several group. Our method generates static object buffers as many as the number of group and updates each buffer independently. As a result, we can present tens of millions of polygons in real-time.

Micro finance has a different approach than the regular financial service. Collection is made by account officer directly to customer. Service-Based Application is proposed to help the collection process. The system relies on web services and mobile application using Java ME as consumer. Dependability of the application is analyzed to meet the financial industry requirements. This article analyzes the issue of dependability of the proposed system and offers the solution to satisfy the dependability.
