In this paper social network approach will be used to analyze safety culture and worker's behaviour in manufacturing industry. For this purpose we assume that each characteristic of safety culture, as well as worker's behaviour, is a member of social group and the relationship among them represents social relationship. With this point of view, those relationships can be quantified by means of correlation structure among characteristics. To analyse that network, first we filter the important information contained therein by using minimum spanning tree and, second, we interpret it by using centrality measures such as degree, betweenness, closeness and eigenvector centrality. A case study on Malaysian industry will be presented to illustrate the advantage of the proposed approach. Some of important results and recommendations for the Government of Malaysia will be delivered.

We propose adaptive power control of obstacle avoidance system for visually impaired person. It utilizes multiple ultrasonic sensors to avoid obstacles lying in the path. We evaluate complex structure in front of the user with predefined patterns and determine avoidance direction by analysing those patterns. It controls the number of active ultrasonic sensors by evaluating motion context using built-in accelerometer sensor. Our system safely guides visually impaired person as well as adaptively control power consumption of mobile devices.

Cloud computing is an extension of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). For cloud elastic nature, it will often need to dynamically reconfiguring and reorganising the services interaction as some unpredictable events, such as crashes or network problems, will typically cause service unavailability. The complexity and dynamism of current global network system require an architecture that is capable of autonomously changing its structure and functionality to meet the changes with little human intervention. In this paper, an autonomic SOA framework is proposed to extend the intelligence and capability in the cloud. The use of case-based reasoning and the architectural consideration of autonomic computing paradigm are presented.

This research discusses the prevention solution Tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia through a reminder electronic health system that is designed to adopt mobile cloud computing technologies, so TB organization can have access and take advantage information technology resources without making a major investment, including for patients to be easy to get immediate treatment from their mobile devices. The results of this research is the design and prototype of a Software as a service (SaaS) in the Mobile Cloud environment for the management of TB treatment that can support the principle of integration, harmonization and sustainability of e-health system of TB in Indonesia.

This paper presents the implementation of 3D perceptual parameter estimation in robot texture images using multi-core Graphic Processing Units (GPUs) connected into a cloud computing environment. The paper discusses the architecture of the system and its benefits in providing real time estimation of parameter estimation to get an approximation of the change in position of robot from a certain position for application of robot navigation. The implementation of this scheme on conventional computing resources is much time consuming and resource intensive. The advances in cloud computing provide cost effective solution for this task of 3D change estimation.

In general, consultation among doctor and patient is done by the patient went to the doctor in real situation. Therefore, patients must provide time and cost to consult with a physician. Nowadays, everybody can communicate with one another by use smart phone through internet connection. Particularly in Indonesia, nearly 54% people use the internet and mostly of them use the internet by phone or smart phone. Because this phenomena, this research has purposed to designed consultation system among doctor and patient by using smart phone through internet connection. The consultation can be done in anytime, anywhere since we connect with internet connection. In this research, we choose the specific patient. We pick diabetes patient because in Indonesia, the number of diabetes patients has the fourth highest ranking in the world according from WHO database.

This paper is aimed to create implementation crawler engine or search engine using cloud computing infrastructure. This approach use virtual machines on a cloud computing infrastructure to run service engine crawlers and also for application servers. Based on our initial experiments, this research has successfully built crawler engine that runs on Virtual Machine (VM) of cloud computing infrastructure. The use of Virtual Machine (VM) on this architecture will help to ease setup or installation, maintenance or VM terminating that has been running with some particular service crawler engine as needed. With this infrastructure, the increasing or decreasing in capacity and capability of multiple engine crawlers could set easily and more efficiently.

The quality of data and performance of local government is an important factor in the reporting of the budget year. The problems that arise in the field to make the work ethic decreases and make impact on the failure in preparing LPPD. Utilization of technology is expected to be a solution to solve these problems. Through the mapping of business processes and application of cloud in the process existing, acquired increased efficiency and reliable during the LPPD implementation.

Real-time rendering for massive terrain data is a challenging work. Previous GPUs are not suitable for rendering massive mesh data. Recently, with tessellation shaders and geometry shader added on a GPU, it is possible to tessellate triangles or quad patches to improve geometrical features of mesh objects. In this paper, we propose a massive terrain rendering technique in real-time using GPUs. We made displacement and normal map from massive terrain data on the GPU. As a result, we could tessellate a coarse base mesh with a high resolution texture as displacement map and normal map for shading from massive terrain data.

Cloud computing enables IT systems to be scalable and elastic. One significant advantage of it is users no longer need to determine their exact computing resource requirements upfront. Instead, they request computing resources as required, on-demand. This paper is written to introduce a framework specific for large public sector entities on how to migrate to cloud computing. This paper can then be also be a reference for the Organizations to overcome its limitations and to convince their stakeholders to further implement various types of Cloud Computing service models.
