Carbon taxes are widely known as an effective way of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This tax has been imposed in many countries and made huge progress. This paper focuses on the impacts of carbon taxes on total greenhouse gas emissions and figures out how those impacts are able to benefit the environment, economy, and society. In addition, this paper discusses the solutions to improve the total effect of these carbon taxes. Besides, this paper addresses the viable ways to achieve carbon taxes properly with reasonable approaches. The conclusion drawn from the work is that carbon taxes can potentially reduce total pollution in the future, but it still has some flaws, such as the competitiveness of industries. This paper points out what traits carbon taxes have in both positive and negative aspects. This paper also gives improvement methods for this policy and calls for attention to environmental issues.

Due to various factors, the performance of the financial market is always hard to predict. However, modelling, a technique based on mathematical theory and data science technology, has been an effective approach to forecast potential risks. In this article, the purpose of the research is to analyze how the Bayesian Model plays its unique role in forecasting the effect of systematic risk globally, and which is still also in use in most of financial forecasting. The essay doesnt involve solid equations and numerical relationships among different factors, but it does broadly offer the resolutions for the risks. The risk could be a detrimental factor that leads to a complete financial failure or even a crisis that influences normal peoples felicity. In this work, several ways to anticipate and decipher the risk are presented, all of which can reduce the risk effectively.

In today's ever-evolving and uncertain economic environment, the Chinese coffee industry continues to show remarkable growth and development. However, it is crucial to understand that the cost structure of any business has a direct impact not only on its future operational risks but also on its overall profitability. To shed more light on this topic, this article undertakes a detailed analysis of the composition and proportion of the cost structure of Luckin Coffee. It compares the cost structure of Luckin Coffee with that of the same industry and examines its historical data. The article then concludes that Luckin Coffee has adopted a high-cost elastic cost structure. Furthermore, the article delves deeper into how Luckin Coffee and the coffee industry at large are influenced by this high-cost elasticity cost structure. By understanding the impact of such a cost structure, stakeholders in the industry can make informed decisions that can positively affect their bottom-line. Overall, this article serves as a valuable resource for anyone seeking to understand the cost structure of the Chinese coffee industry and its implications for businesses operating within it.

ESG has now become an important topic in sustainable development. To explore how ESG affects corporate innovation, and what the role played by digital transformation is in the relationship, we employ the fixed effect model for analysis, utilizing data from A-share listed data between 2012 and 2021. In further analyses, it was tested whether the type of pollution in the industry and the corporate ownership property had an impact on the association between ESG and corporate innovation capacity. According to the empirical evidence, we know that (1) ESG has a significantly positive impact on corporate innovation capability. (2) ESG has a significantly positive effect on corporate digital transformation. (3) Digital transformation plays a mediating effect between corporate ESG and corporate innovation capability. (4) According to the heterogeneity analysis, we know that ESG of non-state-owned corporates plays a greater role in promoting corporate innovation capability; ESG of non-heavily polluted industries plays a greater role in promoting corporate innovation capability.

In today's society, the market competition is very fierce, a variety of products and services emerge endlessly. Without a good business strategy, companies will be at a disadvantage in the competition and even go bankrupt. In the increasingly competitive market, some companies wrongly take some improper practices to address their situation, such as financial fraud, referring to the act of dishonestly obtaining money or assets by fraudulent means. It involves false information, misrepresentation, or concealment of facts for financial gain. If a company commits financial fraud, it will be forced out of the market and its reputation will be greatly reduced. We first conduct a SWOT analysis to evaluate the company's internal and external strengths and weaknesses. Subsequently, we assess the measures implemented by Luckin Coffee in response to the analysis. Thirdly, we validate the effectiveness of these measures using financial statement data. Ultimately, we draw some conclusions for other companies in mitigating financial fraud.

With the rapid development of the Internet and digital technology, content marketing strategy has become increasingly important in the field of digital marketing. However, there is insufficient research on how a brands digital content marketing affects consumers purchase intention, especially among emerging brands. In this study, the SHEIN brand was used as a reference. Through a comprehensive literature review and in-depth case analysis, this research systematically explores its core digital content marketing strategy and reveals the core elements of its success. The research results show that SHEINs user-generated content (UGC) strategy in digital content marketing, especially social media marketing, encourages consumers to independently shoot and write SHEIN product content, thereby increasing new consumers product recognition and thus influencing consumers purchases. This strategy not only deepens consumers' positive impression and awareness of the SHEIN brand but also significantly enhances their purchase intentions. Through this analysis, brands can effectively attract and retain customers by articulating their core values and developing precise digital content marketing strategies accordingly. This research provides valuable insights into how brands can build and implement effective content marketing strategies in the digital age, especially in terms of how to attract and retain younger consumers. At the same time, the companies should also realize that with the continuous advancement of technology, future digital content marketing strategies will continue to evolve, and brands need to maintain keen insights and constantly adapt to new market environments and consumer needs.

The implementation of soda taxes as a public health measure to curb sugar-sweetened beverage consumption has gained significant attention in recent years. Through a dual-city survey conducted in 2017 and 2018, we gathered data on consumer behavior, merchant decision, and tax impact on beverage consumption patterns. The results of the DID study showed that after the implementation of the SSB tax in Philadelphia in 2017, the consumption of SSB beverages changed significantly. However, in Oakland, there was a slight change after 2018. Additionally, the tax has been well-received by a considerable portion of the population, with a majority expressing support for its continuation. However, combined with the data analysis, I found that under the influence of different consumer pass-through rates, the actual implementation effects of sugar tax in Philadelphia and Oakland are different. The consumption of SSBs in Philadelphia decreases and the consumption of alternative goods increases, while the consumption of SSBs and alternative goods in Oakland decreases significantly and simultaneously. This study will provide arguments for the debate on the effectiveness and acceptability of SSB taxes as a public health intervention by analyzing the reasons for differences in actual implementation of policies between the two cities, while providing new analytical directions for policymakers.

The rapid iteration of the fashion industry and the influx of numerous niche emerging fast fashion brands into the market have driven continuous innovation in social media marketing strategies, with new promotional methods constantly emerging. This article, utilizing literature analysis and observational methods, examines ZARA's social media marketing strategy in China. This analysis is beneficial for companies in the fast fashion industry, particularly those looking to expand their influence in the Chinese market. After a detailed analysis of the characteristics and marketing methods of Chinese social media platforms, the impact of external factors on Chinese consumers, and ZARA's social media presence, the article provides detailed recommendations for social media marketing strategies. ZARA, as a pioneer in the fast fashion industry, has established a certain market presence on Chinese social media platforms. However, its promotional strategy still shows potential for improvement. On platforms like Weibo and Little Red Book, ZARA's content strategy lacks specificity and diversity. In contrast, its live streaming marketing on platforms like TikTok demonstrates excellent visual effects and interactivity. This article provides several specific recommendations for ZARA's social media marketing strategy in China, such as strengthening brand storytelling and product showcases on Little Red Book, hiring celebrity endorsements, and regularly hosting styling challenges on TikTok. In summary, by implementing these strategies, ZARA is poised to achieve more effective brand building and market expansion in China's social media landscape.

Cross-border e-commerce has significantly influenced China's trade development as a new type of contemporary international business activity. It opens up a fresh avenue for Chinese businesses to investigate the global market, encourages the expansion of international trade, increases market share, and consequently creates a wealth of commercial chances. The obstacles that come with cross-border e-commerce include heightened market competitiveness, as well as tax and regulatory issues. The government must create and refine pertinent regulatory and tax policies to solve these issues and enable the healthy and orderly growth of international e-commerce. Additionally, the key to fostering its sustainable and stable development is increasing industrial skills and educating professional cross-border e-commerce talent. Generally speaking, cross-border e-commerce has presented China's trade with both opportunities and obstacles, and a thorough response strategy is required to assure its healthy development.

Under the background of the global "carbon neutral" process, new energy vehicles have become the main development target. The transformation of many traditional fuel car companies has also pushed forward the development of new energy. This paper takes the three giants of traditional car companies - Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Audi as an example. Firstly, we conduct a SWOT analysis and find that the problem of lagging behind in technology and experience internally, as well as the threat from many new energy vehicle companies. Secondly, we analyse the dilemma faced by traditional car companies in terms of global sales and vehicle production capacity in new energy technologies. Their actions will serve as a reference for all traditional automobile companies looking to transition to new energy sources.
