It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 16th International Conference on Webometrics, Informetrics and Scientometrics (WIS) & 21st COLLNET meeting, which will be held from 10 to 12 November 2022 in the Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. COLLNET is a forum to bring forth recent developments in all aspects of Webometrics, Informetrics, Scientometrics, Science Policy, Research Evaluation, Research Collaboration and related areas, with an objective of formulating strategies to solve emerging challenges of the twenty-first century. It also aims to bring together leading Academics, Scientists, Librarians, Statisticians, Science Policy Makers, Research Scholars and Research Students to exchange and share their experiences and research findings on various aspects of these areas. Besides, it provides an opportunity to foster international collaborations among Scientists, Academicians, Librarians and policy makers to promote Webometrics, Informetrics and Scientometrics as a key technology. The COLLNET 2022 will be held in hybrid mode – both face-to-face and online – and will be marked by many events, including workshops, receptions, industry presentations, panel discussions and tours. Method of express bibliometric analysis of scientific diasporas 科学散居者文献计量分析的表达方法

The proposed method of Express Bibliometric Analysis (EBA) is developed for quick finding of countries’ scientific diaspora characteristics. Its main novelty lies in the ability to assess the scientific diaspora population size, thought, up to now, by the researchers studying scientific diasporas, as impossible to do. In parallel, it compiles the statistical sample for finding diasporan researchers’ distribution by countries in the World, scientific disciplines, performance, gender, etc. The EBA method can be applied using any of DBs: ISI WoS, Scopus or Google Scholar. In this paper the EBA is tested using Google Scholar DB for the cases of scientific diasporas of Armenia and Georgia. It is shown that in a short time population sizes of two National scientific diasporas, as well as their other characteristics have been found and compared. The EBA method is useful for countries wishing to develop the policy of communication with the scientific diaspora.

This paper presents methodological approach study emphasis on, Scientometric approach on climate change and global warming literature during 2001-2016 from the Web of science database. The study analysed the various parameters such as, growth trend, authorship pattern, collaborative index, collaborative co-efficient, and degree of collaboration, division of forms, most preferred authors, country-wise distribution and other parameters. The number of publications constantly increasing year-wise and single authored contribution decreased whereas multiple authored contributions increasing. Both degree of collaborations of multi authors and collaborative co-efficiency has increased. The relative growth rate of Climate change publications output increases gradually from 2001 to 2016, the doubling time for the Climate change during 2001-2016 is 0.98 and 4.36 respectively

In the view of Social Exchange Theory (SET), this article provides an insight into the knowledge sharing behavior of an employee in the organization. Trust is a core factor affecting knowledge sharing behavior. To examine knowledge sharing behavior, it is needed to explore the employee’s behavior towards sharing information. In this study we examine knowledge sharing behavior in those organization which are using information and communication technologies (ICTs) in their daily routine. We found that when employees trust each other, they tend to share more information. Results confirm that trust among employees influences the higher rate of knowledge sharing.
