: In Serge of Yasmina Reza, we are dealing with several types of humor which mostly focus on exploiting the body and its discursive representations. There is therefore reason to consider a certain semiotics of bodily representations which constitute the basis of humorous discourse. To be able to semiotically analyze the humor in Serge , we will first resort to the notion of figurativeness which concerns the capacity of language to represent reality: while appealing to bodily figurative representation, we will question the signifying mechanisms which found the humorous body as a discursive actor. After having identified the figurative processes of bodily humor, we will secondly attempt to identify the elements of a bodily semiotics of humor in the novel: the representations of the body exploited by humor would serve as a plan of expression for a much deeper semantic level which concerns the incongruity not only between the acting bodies and their respective environments but rather in the actor itself.

: The evaluation of stylistics in William Butler Yeats‘ theatre is the main subject of study in this paper. In addition, this study aims at identifying the diverse sum of knowledge by earlier scholars comprehensively in the stylistic studies on all of Yeats‘ plays, and especially in application of the theory of foregrounding on the different linguistic levels on his plays. The methodology in the linguistic theory of foregrounding follows the model of Geoffrey Leech and Mick Short (1981). The paper follows the qualitative method of analysis. The utilization of stylistic approaches has been widely applied in literature, most importantly on Yeats‘ poems and prose, but is to a lesser extent on his drama. However less it may be, the analysis of stylistic methodology in the dramatic literature of Yeats has been sufficient, diverse, and encouraging. In addition, earlier research and published literature have assisted in the use of stylistic methods within this context. This article paves the way to study the stylistic techniques of foregrounding in three of Yeats‘ verse plays namely, Deirdre (1907), The Hour Glass (1914)

In the first supplement, I dealt with the neologisms used by Zweig in the chess novel, which were verified using Viktor Klemperer's book LTI, Notebook of a Philologist.
