In this paper the mathematical problem of optimization of control parameters of the initial plasma stage in ITER is considered. To construct a mathematical model of optimization one used a model of dynamics of the currents in poloidal circuits of tokamak. The aim in the studied optimization problem is the creation of conditions for the breakdown of the plasma, as well as its further development in accordance to a specified scenario of rise of the plasma current at the initial stage.

Exact analytical solution of a non-linear plane-strain problem is obtained for a plate with an elastic elliptic inclusion subjected to uniform remote nominal (Piola) stresses. The conditions of continuity are performed for the nominal stresses and displacements at a contour of inclusion. Mechanical properties of a plate and an inclusion are described by model of a John's harmonic material. This model has allowed to use complex-variable methods for a solution of non-linear plane-strain problems. It is supposed that a state of stress inside inclusion is uniform (tensor of nominal stresses is constant). By this assumption the complicated non-linear problem of conjugation of two bodies of different materials reduce to the solution of two more simple problems for a plate with an elliptic hole. The validity of this hypothesis is proved by that obtained solution satisfies precisely to all equations and boundary conditions of problem. Similar hypothesis was used at a solution of linear and non-linear problems about elliptic inclusion.

The most travel delays in daily trips in modern large urban areas take place primarily at signal-controlled junctions due to regular interruption by alternating traffic lights. Therefore in urban traffic control road networks alleviation increasing of traffic congestion at signalized junctions becomes one of the most significant issues, facing decision makers at various levels of management. This paper is devoted to development of methodological tools to cope with problem of settings traffic signals for congested transportation network. The global traffic control system is assumed to define timing parameters of signals for the whole transportation network. Users of network are believed to react on any fixed signal setting, assigning according to user-equilibrium of Wardrop. Thus, the global optimal signal settings problem under user network equilibrium conditions is formulated as bi-level optimization program. When travel time is modeled by modified linear BPR cost function, the user-equilibrium flow patterns for two intersecting networks of parallel routes could be obtained as explicit condition of the lower programming level.

Suppose that similar terminals of several companies are in relative proximity to each other. Each company carries out transportation and storage of cargoes. If the terminal is crowded then the company can rent a portion of a terminal of another company. On contrary, if the terminal of some company is not sufficiently loaded, then the portion of the terminal can be suggested in the lease to another company.

In this paper we consider the problem of mobile robot motion planning in a heterogeneous environment consisting of mandatory to visit zone and prohibited areas. Control system rules synthesis is proposed to be conducted with vaguely defined requirements for object behaviour. Examples of using this method for solving the problem of mobile robot control system synthesis are given.

Vibrational spectrum of molecules is an important characteristic of the material, which allows to identify different molecular structures. Determination of vibrational frequencies complete set is needed for the calculation of the thermodynamic functions of simple substance formation. We found complexes of 4-n-pentyl-4'-cyanobiphenyl (CB5) molecules with the most advantageous energy structure in a vacuum. Also frequencies of the normal vibrations of the studied systems were calculated. CB5 molecule is widely used as a liquid crystal, the properties of which were studied using various computational and experimental methods [1]-[6]. Cyanobiphenyl liquid crystal phase CB5 was observed by infrared spectroscopy with the frequency of 2252 cm-1. In this regard, we can assume that vibration band consists of several points corresponding to different values of oscillation frequencies.

In the paper a differential system is considered, which state is described by a parabolic initial boundary value problem with distributed parameters on a graph. Control action and observations occur simultaneously. The existence conditions of a unique control action and the controllability system are obtained.

The article discusses numerical solution of nonlinear boundary value problems appearing in the theory of shells made of elastomers. Issues of solution continuation with respect to parameters in case of bifurcation branching of the corresponding loading diagrams are considered particularly. A numerical algorithm for finding the bifurcation branches at the load-displacement diagram is proposed. The effectiveness of the algorithm is demonstrated for the problem of arch strip off-center compression.

Questions of uniform approximation of continuous functions of bounded variation on ℝn with the values in the Banach space are being studied by aggregates of summatory type constructed on the basis of the known function values at the nodes of a multidimensional rectangular mesh. The appraisal of accuracy is executed by means of the modulus of continuity.
