Agent-based Decision Making for Adoption of Smart Energy Solutions 采用智能能源解决方案的基于代理的决策

Agent-based simulation of the decision-making process for adoption of smart energy solutions can provide evidence for smart energy solutions' providers to decide for a business strategy which results in the best adoption rate. The adoption rate of smart energy solutions is important in achieving climate goals, such as the Danish goal to have 100% renewable electricity production by 2030. This paper shows how agent-based simulation can be used to investigate the decision-making process for adoption of smart energy solutions. The study investigates a case about Danish commercial greenhouse growers' adoption of a demand response program. The simulation outputs an adoption curve and grower information. The results provide the maximum monetary cost for achieving an adoption rate of 50% in 5 years.

Step-by-step Development of an Omnidirectional Mobile Robot 一个全向移动机器人的逐步发展

Mobile robots are ubiquitous nowadays, and some companies build and sell them; but an inconvenience with these already built platforms is, for most of them, the limited access to their low level. Moreover, in spite of their ubiquity, there exists scarce information on how to build a complete mobile platform from scratch. This paper shows the detailed steps to build an omnidirectional robot based on mecanum wheels, for applications on autonomous exploration and navigation. The advantage of the holonomic configuration of the robot is the unconstrained instantaneous direction of motion. We provide a bottom-up guide for the construction of this robot, including the electronic devices, wiring, and the connection setup. Control and software frameworks are also detailed, and the result of the final robot together with some technical characteristics are presented.

Factors associated with violence against Peruvian children at school 与学校暴力侵害秘鲁儿童有关的因素

Our objective was to determine factors associated with violence against children at school in Peru. A secondary analysis of the National Survey of Social Relations (ENARES) of 2015 was carried out. Our sample consisted of 1559 primary school students, whose age ranged from 9 to 11 years old. Raw and adjusted prevalence ratios (PR) were estimated using Poisson regression with robust variance. Regarding domestic violence, it was found that having previously been victims of violence at home, living in a home where constant fights or arguments between parents or adults occur, and coming from a single parent family were all factors associated with a higher risk of violence. Meanwhile, the factors associated with lower risk of suffering violence at home included; that children age and become adults and classrooms with a higher proportion of females.

The proposal aims to improve the performance of the production process and the management of purchases to achieve greater efficiency and increase the competitiveness of the company in the market. In that sense, an optimization plan was developed and implemented for the production process of the company that began with the analysis of the root cause, it was determined that there is inadequate process management and inadequate production planning and control. Therefore, the proposal consists in the use of lean tools such as lean logistics for the entire operational process in purchasing management and standardization with 5s for measurements and controls in the operations of the production area. The use of these tools as a set, allows reducing cycle times, controlling operations and systematizing them so that they work in a grouped and automatic way. As a result of the application, there was a reduction in the cycle time of 8%, the reprocess rate in 10% and delays in the delivery time of the finished products by 25% less. Finally, production costs were reduced by 11.2% for the first semester.

Technological Solution using low cost devices to prevent feminicide scenes 使用低成本设备的技术解决方案,以防止杀害女性的场景

In this research paper, we present a technological solution proposal to the problem associated to violence towards women in Peru. A conclusion was reached, based on a study, of the main existing channels for prevention and complaint. From the carried out study, it was determined that there are high attention times and information asymmetries between the different actors in the system. The posed solution reduces the minimum time necessary for the attention and detention of an act of violence by providing an immediate reaction. In this procedure we use low-cost components and existing systems on the market. The solution brings together technological components properly configured to track violence, which consists mainly of: 1) A wearable device, alerting a specific group of people previously added, relatives, acquaintances or people willing to help, 2) A communication system with a real-time alert, which, through signals, communicates to a cloud platform, these signals are distributed to a mobile application and website. The solution was validated at a national police station located in Lima. The aim is to contribute to the reduction of the response time of help and the asymmetry of information. The time used with the proposed solution reduced 60% with respect to two solutions that the Ministry of Justice of Peru has implemented in the last five months. of operation.

Implementation of the Bilingual Intercultural Education Program in a Lima-Peru School 双语跨文化教育项目在利马-秘鲁学校的实施

The objective of this study is to evaluate the level of implementation of the Bilingual Intercultural Education Program (BIE) in the Bilingual Intercultural School “Shipibo Community”. The participants were 24 students of primary level (11 of 5th grade and 13 of 6th grade). We conclude that the level of implementation of the BIE program is low because, according to the dimensions evaluated, such as: teachers, curriculum content and educational materials, the basic characteristics of an intercultural school are not met. In this sense, teachers speak and write very little during classes in the Shipibo language. These include, to a lesser extent, the linguistic, technical knowledge and values of the Shipibo-Konibo population during the teaching-learning processes. In addition, with respect to educational materials, these are often found in Spanish, rarely in the Shipibo language and are also decontextualized. Finally, there is a significant difference in the level of knowledge and satisfaction that Shipibo and non-Shipibo students feel about the language, since there is a positive attitude, from the first students, towards that Amazonian language.

The autonomy of a vehicle can be achieved by a proper use of the information acquired with the sensors. Real-sized autonomous vehicles are expensive to acquire and to test on; however, the main algorithms that are used in those cases are similar to the ones that can be used for smaller prototypes. Due to these budget constraints, this work uses the Duckiebot as a testbed to try different algorithms as a first step to achieve full autonomy. This paper presents a methodology to properly use visual feedback, with the information of the robot camera, in order to detect the lane of a circuit and to drive the robot accordingly.

The objective of the research is focused on the understanding of the effect of the improvement plans executed by the accreditation of Engineering careers under the SINEACE model in the perception of quality of the university service by using the Net Promoter Score as an indicator. An exploratory study was carried out in four consecutive years, which evidenced the satisfaction of educational quality by the students, before and after the accreditation process. The results obtained allow us to affirm that there was a significant increase in student satisfaction (P-value = 0.017), being possible to conclude that there is an effect of the processes implemented under the model of career accreditation and the satisfaction of students on academic quality.

Optimal Estimation of Solar Radiation on Flat Surfaces for the Design of Energy Systems using Artificial Neural Networks 基于人工神经网络的平面太阳辐射最优估计用于能源系统设计

Solar energy systems use solar radiation to obtain useful energy, so to design and implement these systems anywhere on the surface of the earth it is very important to know the value of the incident solar radiation in the selected place. This radiation is usually obtained from meters such as pyranometers, pyrheliometers or actinographs from meteorological stations located near the place. As these instruments are expensive and usually have high measurement errors (5 - 9%), it is necessary to estimate the radiation in an optimal way. In this work, two mathematical methods are used to estimate the value of incident solar radiation on horizontal and tilted surfaces. The methods are: Method based on astronomical equations and method based on Artificial Neural Networks. The case study was conducted for the geographical location of the National University of Engineering (Lima, Peru). A database of meteorological variables measured for ten years and averaged every month was used to compare their measurements with the estimated results of the proposed mathematical methods. The results revealed that the estimated values of global solar radiation when applying the astronomical method differs on average 9% with respect to that provided by the database and 6% when applying Artificial Neural Networks.

Latin American universities and digital craft: reaching out to regional development 拉丁美洲大学和数字工艺:促进区域发展

This research identifies and analyzes the interaction between universities and craft experiences, with communities in different cities and towns in Latin America. These interactions use as link two technologies: digital fabrication and, as an emergent alternative, computational design. Case studies reveal interactions from the universities, specifically schools of architecture, design or engineering, to regional communities, and from them back to universities. We emphasize in advantages, lacks and problems, to be taken into account for future sustainable implementations. Processes establish links with regional production, seeking to empower it through the incorporation of new technologies, framed by teaching-learning experiences. Universities set passive assistance aside, to opt for a real collaborative learning that benefits students, teachers and societies.
