"HYDROGEN IS JUST a means of storing solar energy," says Marco Alverà, "it's as simple as that." It's not as versatile as electricity, probably won't have the same sort of business-to- consumer profile that electricity has, and will certainly be one of those technologies that operates 'behind the curtain'. When it comes to how it will heat our homes, Alverà thinks that "the jury is still out on that".
