Analysis of the influence of the geometric form at the outlet of the injector on the protection of a gas turbine combustor liner 喷油器出口几何形状对燃气轮机燃烧室内胆保护的影响分析

Numerical investigations of a real scale gas turbine combustor operating under industrial conditions were conducted in this paper. The studied combustion chamber has a high degree of geometrical complexity related to the injection system as well as the cooling system based on a big distribution of small holes (about 3390 holes) bored on the liner walls. The main aim of this study was to investigate the effect of the type of widening at the outlet of the injector on the distribution of the temperature of the walls of the flame tube. In order to do this, two cases were considered: the first case corresponds to a sudden widening and the second case corresponds to a conical widening by the addition of a conical divergent piece at the outlet of the injection system. The calculations were carried out using the industrial CFD code Ansys FLUENT. The difference between the maximum temperatures reached shows the important role of this piece in the protection of the cap of the flame tube. The results showed that the addition of the conical divergent piece permits to considerably reduce the maximum temperature of the liner cap. In fact, the temperature decrease is of the order of 300 ° C near the injector and more than 800 ° C elsewhere, which corresponds to a reduction of 17% and 50% respectively.

Computer method for tracking the centerline curve of the human retinal blood vessel 人体视网膜血管中心线曲线的计算机跟踪方法

In this paper, we propose a mathematical approach for tracking the centerline curve in retinal images. First, the undirected topology graph of the blood vessel is extracted from the given image; this is performed after the binarization of the image. Then, we use a skeletonization algorithm in order to obtain the human retinal vascular tree. Next, we determinate the pixels classification (endpoints, bifurcation points, and interior points) and branches curve. Finally, we use three methods of reconciliation of the blood vessels curve to get a smooth curve, particularly insensitive to deformations that may taint the subject, as well as the recognition of the natural structures of the human retinal vascular tree. The results obtained for the three types of reconstruction are compared between them and with the geometrical structure of the vascular tree. We note that the cubic spline method is better than the other two methods in terms of average Root-Mean-Square Error (RMS) value 0.12 pixels and the average Absolute value of the Aaximal Error (AME) 0.57 pixel. Their advantages and disadvantages are discussed in relation to other methods proposed in the literature.

Toward a smart E-leaming system (A state of the art) 迈向智能电子学习系统(最先进的技术)

Nowadays, e-learning has a great deal of importance. Thus, it collects more amounts of information because of the quick development of technologies and the rise of web 2.0. However, a big database is built with online activities by teachers and students. In this way, data analysis makes teachers enable to take more idea about success of the educational processes. Also, it is difficult, even impossible to analyze the collected huge data with manual methods. That is why, several approaches and techniques are applied to propose an effective solution to improve the construction of a smart E-learning system. Data mining is one of the related approaches that can be used to extract knowledge from large amounts of data related to students which will help teachers for making decision. It has different methods and techniques, such as: classification, clustering, regression, decision tree, Neural Networks. In this paper, we presented E-learning problems, on the one hand, and how Data Mining techniques are used to solve them, on the other hand.

Generic neural architecture for LVQ artificial neural networks LVQ人工神经网络的通用神经结构

This paper reports an approach for the implementation of learning vector quantization (LVQ) neural network with different generic architectures and a reduction of the latency. Our approach is based on a hardware/software design (HW/SW) for on-chip and on-line learning with generic architectures. It is based, as well, on a variable topology (the number of neurons in the hidden layer and the number of entries are scalable) that makes it generic and usable for many applications without hardware modifications. In this contribution, we have integrated the parallelism rate into the data path, which is responsible for calculating the minimum distance, weights and labels, in order to solve problems of application latency. Therefore, our approach allows a compromise between latency, power and parallelism. These generic architectures allow enlightening the vision of the designers for the right choice of architecture that suits their needs. These different designs can be used for different applications including applications for vigilance states detection, image processing, EEG signals and ECG signals, etc.

Reducing power consumption for system on programmable chip by scheduling tasks 通过调度任务,降低可编程芯片上系统的功耗

Reducing power consumption has become a main objective in the System on Programmable Chip design. Indeed, increasing integration rates and clock frequencies, it becomes necessary to design techniques to reduce power consumption. These techniques are interesting to satisfy the criteria of autonomy, reliability and cost for embedded systems. In this context, we propose an algorithm to schedule tasks obtained from a hardware/software partitioning and running in parallel. In fact, we reduce their operating frequency tasks in an affordable limit to decrease dynamic power consumption without increasing the overall time execution of the application.

Experimental study of the PTC tilt angle's variation on its performance under a Tunisian desert climate 突尼斯沙漠气候下PTC倾斜角度变化对其性能影响的实验研究

The principal objective of this work was to appraise the parabolic trough collector system (PTC) performance under Tunisian desert climate. To reach this goal, a PTC was designed, manufactured and tested experimentally in the governorate of Tozeur localized in the southwest of Tunisia. Experimental measurements were carried out every 30 minutes with a stationary concentrator. The PTC tilt angle's effect on the fluid outlet temperature was highlighted. Four tilt angles are tested in order to choose the best one adequate to the deserted site studied. Measurements are taken from 6:00 h to 19:00h.

Quantitative analysis of myocardial motion in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging using covariance function 用协方差函数定量分析心脏磁共振成像中的心肌运动

The extraction of additional quantitative features are needed in cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) exam to characterize the regional wall motion abnormalities related to several cardiac pathologies. The aim of this study is to present a method for myocardial wall motion analysis based on the covariance function. We tested the proposed method on cine MRI images related to 26 subjects (12 with myocardial infarction, 5 with myocarditis, 5 healthy subjects and 4 with dilated cardiomyopathy (CMD)) with age ranging from 19 to 80. The outcomes of this study show that the proposed image based on the covariance image is able to represent a tool to identify the location, the transmurality of wall motion abnormalities related to different cardiac pathologies. Therefore, this technique is likely to provide additional information to CMR clinical practice.

Sarcasm is a special form of irony or satirical wit in which people convey the opposite of what they mean. Sarcasm largely increases in social networks, especially in Twitter. Detecting sarcasm in tweets improves the automatic analysis tools that analyze the data to provide or enhance customer service and fabricate or enhance a product. Also, there are few studies that focus on detecting Arabic sarcasm in tweets. Consequently, we propose a classifier model that detects Arabic-sarcasm tweets by classifying them as sarcastic by setting some features that may declare a tweet as sarcastic using Weka. We evaluated our model through recall, precision, and f-score measurements that gave 0.659, 0.710, and 0.676 values, respectively, which these results are high especially when it comes to Arabic.

COSPAS-SARSAT system which consists of space segment and ground segment provides a distress alert and the position information for a distressed airplane with beacon equipment. Currently, COSPAS-SARSAT system it's low on the second generation of beacons because allows for the encoding of position data in the transmitted 406 MHz message, thus providing for quasi-real time alerts and position information through the GEOSAR service. This paper presents realization of a beacon ELT second generation 406 MHz for use in aerospace applications and detection and decoding of frames sent. Also, performance is presented through the experience.

Semantic annotation in semantic web is a formal representation of the content related to the information resource. Generated annotations can be in RDF language, expressed by using concepts, relations and instances. Although, some evaluation, attempts of the quality of RDF annotations, were inspired from information retrieval domain. In fact most of studies use Recall, Precision and F-measure as evaluation measures. The aim of this paper is to propose an evaluation protocol for RDF semantic annotations to find a new measure that can help to rank annotations by combining the evaluation of instances, concepts and relations correctness.
