The facility location plays an important role in an industry's supply chain management to facilitate logistics management requirements, making the sourcing and distribution process smooth and fast. The purpose of this study is to determine the ideal place to determine the location of a garment industry. This research uses the Center of Gravity method to calculate the optimal location that will be considered. This method employs an (X-Y) coordinate system to cover the geographical map of the study areas and identifies the coordinates for the new facility's location. It endeavored to identify the optimal location for the garment industry in Bangladesh. It was pinpointed where the industry can obtain raw materials from various regions of the country and a market, labor force, and energy source. Information was gathered regarding the volume of business activity at existing facilities. From the results of this study, it was found that the selected facility's location at the coordinates (23.68497454, 90.5928119), the arable land of the village of Sreepatir Char, Sonargaon, Narayanganj, which is the centralized position according to the supplier's distance, market distance, and availability of labor. Finally, we have shown that the identified location is appropriate for the facility's placement.

Crime has always been a part of people's daily lives, and statistically speaking, the number of crimes has never decreased while continuously increasing. Despite the fact that no one can predict when a crime will occur, this study aims to use spatial and temporal analysis in crime mapping to identify crime patterns and hotspots that will be used by Caloocan Police Substation 03 to determine where and when the police officers should patrol to prevent criminal activity from happening. The researchers have discovered that the police officers find the system useful for keeping their crime data and for establishing their patrolling regions based on the findings of the survey that was done. The findings indicate that using Spatio-Temporal Analysis in a Criminal Incident Recording System can help reduce crime rates in the jurisdiction of Caloocan Police Substation 03.

The system suggested in this study is a cutting-edge approach for tracking meteorological conditions in a specific location and making the data available elsewhere in the globe. The Internet of Items (IoT) is the technology underlying this, and it is a sophisticated and efficient method for connecting things to the internet and linking the entire universe of things in a network. Electronic devices, sensors, and vehicle electronic equipment might all be found here. The system uses sensors to monitor and regulate ambient factors such as temperature and relative humidity, and then sends the data to a web page, where it is plotted as graphical statistics. The data updated by the established system may be accessed over the internet from any location on the planet.

Gesture recognition is a field of study that involves recognizing human movements and gestures through sensors. In this paper, a basic gesture recognition system is proposed that uses three Time-of-Flight (TOF) VL53L0X distance sensors positioned in an L-shape able to recognize gesture through cover glass and up to 40 cm of distance. The system is capable of recognizing four basic gestures: swipe right, swipe left, swipe up and swipe down. This system can be applied in various fields such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Gaming, Virtual Reality (VR) and Robotics, this paper will focus on the implementation and evaluation of the proposed system. The inspiration for the system is to simplify interaction with medical panel PCs and monitors while improving the hygienic aspect of the same, while taking into consideration data privacy.

An indigenous honey extracting machine was designed, fabricated and evaluated at the workshop of the department of Agricultural Technology, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Nigeria using locally available materials. It has the extraction unit, the presser, the honey collector and the frame. The harvested honeycomb is placed inside the cylindrical extraction unit with perforated holes. The press plate is then positioned on the honeycomb while the hydraulic press of 3 ton was placed on it and supported by the frame. The hydraulic press which is manually operated forces the oil out of the extraction chamber through the perforated holes into the honey collector positioned at the lowest part of the extraction chamber. The honey extracting machine has an average throughput of 2.59 kg/min and efficiency of about 91%. The cost of producing the honey extracting machine is NGN 31, 700: 00, thirty-one thousand, and seven hundred naira only or $70 at NGN 452.8 to a dollar. This cost is affordable to beekeepers and would-be honey entrepreneurs. The honey extracting machine is easy to operate and maintained without any complex technical know-how. This simple technology solves the challenge of honey extraction among our peasant farmers in Nigeria.

Supervised or unsupervised classification is the main objective of pattern recognition. The statistical approach is the most popular approach that is practised among the several frameworks where pattern recognition is initially formulated. In the recent past, the neural network technique and the methodology scheme from the statistical learning theory have garnered the attention of people. It requires proper attention to deal with the design of the recognition system. There are several issues associated with the design of the recognition system. They are the pattern class definition, sensing environment and representation extraction and selection of features, cluster analysis, classifier design, learning, and choosing the training and test samples. There is no solution to the general issue of recognizing complex patterns associated with arbitrary patterns. Data mining, web searching, and retrieval of multimedia are the various emerging applications that require proper and effective regulation techniques. The main purpose of this paper is to give a detailed overview of the various methods that can be used in the different stages of the pattern recognition system. The paper also aims to figure out the research topics in the application that can be highlighted in this challenging field.

Aluminum was a type of hard and soft material, because of its high toughness, and it was easy to generate grinding heat, so polishing was relatively difficult because of polish fire. Aluminum has been used as a processing material due to its excellent properties such as lightness, corrosion resistance, non-magnetism, alloy strength, electrical conductivity, weight, and heat dissipation. However, some problems arose when grinding aluminum tubes. Thereby, two grinding methods have been performed to reduce polish fire. An elastic polishing wheel with special heat dissipation was used. There were many grinding wheels on the market, which were adjusted according to the material. For example, the finer-grained elastic polishing wheel was used because of the elastic grinding wheel being elastic, but such wheel was afraid of vibration during high-precision polishing. Therefore, these two grinding methods have shown that the polish fire was reduced and lead to the problem of good processing efficiency with the best solution.

5G networks deployment is much data driven, leading to more energy consumption. The need to efficiently manage this energy consumption is a major drive in the comparative analysis of the features of a 5G production dataset. The features of the 5G production dataset generated with G-Net track pro were analyzed using Python programming language. From the correlation coefficient results obtained, the highest correlation value of 0.78 exists between the reference signal power and the received signal reference power of the neighbouring cells. Using the significant indicator, we observed that the signal to noise ratio is the most important of all the features. Using heat map and scatter plots, we further observed that there were good relationships between the key features selected from the significant indicator. These features will play a big role in improving the energy efficiency of a 5G network.

Sub-Saharan Africa has become one of the leading destinations for used equipment or Electronic-Electrical waste (e-waste-or-EEW) from developed economies, making its management more urgent than ever. Most studies have articulated the serious impact of e-waste disposal to the environment and public human health. Little attention or consideration has been devoted to the management of e-waste in Uganda despite the existence of laws, policies, and guidelines. Comparatively, much more attention has been paid on the disposal of plastics. In this study, using systematic literature review (SLR), the effect of irresponsible e-waste recycling and disposal on the environment and human health were amplified. Initially, articles were retrieved from four electronic databases using keywords on the environmental and health impact of e-waste and zeroed on only Google scholar and Science Direct because they constituted over 90 percent of the identified articles. Consequently, 35 papers were selected and analyzed from 8,319 papers that were assessed for eligibility to address the research questions. The SLR revealed plausible results associated with irresponsible disposal and exposure to e-waste. Specifically, the outcomes include premature births, abortions, damage to the kidney, the nervous and blood systems, skin diseases, lung cancer, respiratory disorders, and chronic brain damage. Toxic elements are detrimental to the environment since they affect the food system and water systems. Consequently, practical and technological solutions were provided and recommendations to minimize future catastrophe from e-waste to policymakers, theoretical contributions and prospects for future research were made.
