Hyperglycemia, or a state of high blood sugar, is a symptom of diabetes mellitus (D.M.), a complicated chronic disease brought on by deficits in insulin production, activity, or both. Since type 2 diabetes mellitus is a frequent and spreading condition, it is a significant global public health issue. The International Diabetes Federation estimates that 629 million people will have diabetes by 2045, up from the current 425 million cases. The main objective is to compare the effectiveness of oral hypoglycaemics in Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus patients at a tertiary care hospital. This prospective observational study was carry out for six months at HKES’s Basaveshwar Teaching and General Hospital, Kalaburagi. Patients were enrolled based on eligibility criteria. Study populations of 120 subjects with incident Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus were enrolled. Among 120 issues, 25 (20.83%), 15 (12.5%), and 20 (16.66%) subjects are under the treatment of Biguanides, Sulfonylureas, and DPP-4 Inhibitors. 10 (8.33%), 30 (25%) and 20 (16.66%) subjects are under the treatment of Biguanides and Sulfonylureas combination, Biguanides and DPP-4 Inhibitors combination and Biguanides, Sulfonylureas and DPP-4 Inhibitors combination. Finally, conclude that the DPP4 Inhibitor combination group of drugs is better than other anti-diabetic medications in maintaining good glycemic status in type 2 D.M. patients, particularly Biguanides+DPP-4 Inhibitors and then followed by Biguanides+DPP-4 Inhibitors + Sulfonylureas by comparing all the laboratory values obtained.

This case study is about a 72 yrs elderly woman as for acute liver failed due to huge b-cell lymphoma diffusion. The patient was diagnosed with the disease in the past and was on treatment for it. However, she started showing symptoms of fatigue and jaundice which led to hospitalization. The study looks at her medical history and current condition as well as how her disease has progressed over time. It also discusses the various treatments that have been tried so far and their effects on her. A CT scan indicated a huge B-cell lymphoma diffusely involving the liver. The patient underwent an emergency laparotomy and resection of the liver lesion because her condition was deteriorating rapidly. The woman had an enlarged liver (10 cm) with a nodular surface and diffusely increased attenuation on CT scan. She also had a gallbladder wall thickening on ultrasound examination. She has been hospitalized for the further assessment as well as organization of her acute liver fail due to huge B-cell lymphoma dispersion. The seventy two yrs elderly women acute liver problem due to huge B-cell lymphoma dispersion has been hospitalized for such a liver transplant. The patient has been given a diagnosis with huge B-cell lymphoma, that have distributed to her liver. The patients condition worsened incredibly quickly but she was admitted for a liver transplant. Acute liver failure can be caused by many different conditions, including poisoning, drug-induced hepatitis, viral hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, and hepatic malignancies. Acute liver failure is usually reversible if it is caused by an identifiable cause and if that cause can be treated.

Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the large intestine. It leads to bloody diarrhoea and pain in the lower abdomen. In a 22-year-old man with steroid resistant ulcerative colitis, doctors were faced with an unusual case where he was producing blood. The patient had no medical history of bleeding (except for blood pressure medication two years ago) and had no predisposing diseases or conditions that would explain his non-bloody diarrhoea and rectal bleeding. In this case, doctors needed to find out if this patient had any other causes of bleeding other than ulcerative colitis such as a condition involving their platelets or a vitamin K deficiency, but none were found. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that can lead to serious complications. The case study in this article highlights some of these complications which were treated successfully with steroid therapy. Patients may also experience weight loss, malabsorption issues or fatigue as well as complications such as liver problems. The case study also highlights the severity of the patient's condition before diagnosis and treatment, which is why need more research on all cases like this.
