The article presents studies related to the development of a thermosyphon cooling system for solar cells. An efficient cooling system of solar photovoltaic converters based on the thermosiphon principle was developed and investigated by the authors. A heat transfer fluid with a specific boiling point was selected. It can be concluded from the research that for cooling of photovoltaic converters, compared to other methods, the thermosiphon cooling system is much more effective, especially at high concentration of solar energy. At the same time, it provides quite good temperature stabilization of the elements.

The article presents research results of applying mineral fertilizers to red soils. The research aimed at increasing productivity in low productive red soils, definition of optimal volume of fertilizer costs, developing the recommendations for fertilization. The agrochemical indicators were studied before applying fertilizers, also after three years since the beginning of tests. There are some changes in agrochemical indicators because of fertilization. Total nitrogen content, soil acidity indicators and a sum of absorbed bases has also remained the same. Hydrolysed nitrogen and exchangeable potassium content has been slightly increased. It was revealed that application of phosphorus fertilizers in the soils with poor phosphorus content (phosphorus oxide P2O5 < 30 mg/100 g) with phosphorus P180 kg/ha nitrogen N300 potassium K100 increases productivity. It is recommended to apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers during winter digging. In the soils with low phosphorus pentoxide, an optimal dose of nitrogen is 200 kg/ha. It is advisable to apply nitrogen fertilizer - 60% from March 1st to April 1st, and the rest 40% - in July. The research also revealed that phosphorus fertilizers shall be applied once in three years with dosage 540 kg/ha. This significantly decreases the costs.

The solar activity has a great influence on the earth's surface events. It plays an important role on social processes and affects the operation of technological systems. Solar activity can be dangerous for human life and health. The presented work examines the relationship between solar activity and influenza pandemics. The sunspot number (Wolf number) data published by the Sunspot Number Analytical Center for the period 1800-2021, historical data of influenza pandemics and greate comets were used. The connection between cosmic factors and influenza pandemics was revealed, as a result of the study. have been found, that influenza pandemics usually occur near solar activity maxima, and during solar activity minima influenza pandemics occur when large comets approach the Sun at a distance of less than 0.003 AU.

Wine is the most diverse product in the world. The production of quality wine is becoming more relevant day by day, which was caused by the increase in demand for the product. The location, the cultivation of the right variety of vines, the rules for maintaining the vineyard determine the quality of wine, and another very important prerequisite is bringing the grapes to the required condition, i.e. ripening, properly managing the winemaking process and storing the wine in ideal conditions [1]. The purpose of the research was to select Georgian and German grape varieties, from these varieties with multi-quality and organoleptic indicators, as well as to make wine suitable for production conditions. Comparing the produced wines with each other and revealing their positive qualities. Georgian-Tskhvedianis Tetra and German-Gewürztraminer were selected for research. Dry white wines were produced using the same technology. Based on the purpose of the research, the main chemical parameters were determined in the wines: ethyl alcohol content, wine acidity pH, titric acidity, volatile acidity, free SO2, bound SO2, sugar content. Wines obtained from Georgian and German grape varieties were compared. The goal of the research was also to get the most similar and perfect taste in Gewürztraminer as it is made in its real homeland, Germany. According to the results of the research, it was established that the wines selected for analysis correspond to the limits established by the standard with the main chemical parameters. The wines are characterized by the organoleptic qualities characteristic of the variety, the wines are gentle and harmonious to drink.

Modern reality creates a wide variety of communicative situations. Nowadays dialogue still remains one of the most active forms of communication. There is an opportunity for intercultural dialogue, the specificity of which dictates the necessity to find optimal speech-behavioral strategies to ensure mutual understanding. The question’s intention assumes a certain strategy, a kind of target program and has the task to lead the interlocutor to give the information necessary to the addresser. The nature of the response is of great importance for the addresser. The answer is a kind of code, the decryption of which requires some efforts. The degree of understanding of a response can be influenced by the speech-behavioral strategy and tactics of dialogue inherent in a particular culture. Comprehension of the dialogical unities’ behavior in the structure of discourse is of great importance for the translation theory and practice, and presupposes, first of all, comprehension of this phenomenon nature. Considering question-answer structures as one of the particular varieties of dialogic unity and the study of the interaction of erotic(question) and responsive speech acts within a dialogic unity, has shown that the latest have a wide range of pragmatic meanings. Pragmatic meanings of responsive speech acts in our article are analyzed on the basis of empirical material (translation of the stories of J. Joyce and William Tennessee). The cooperative background, which in most cases dictates the translation strategy when interpreting the dialogic question-answer unities, is of great importance for the translation process. We interpret concrete empirical material mainly within the framework of three cooperative tactics: a) sympathy b) non-sympathy c) indifference.

We have always been worried about the inconvenience of the current online table platform of the Technical University, leqtori.gtu.ge, because it is quite heavy and it is difficult to find study tables and view them in time. In addition, it is still difficult to use. Its complexity depends on the device, mobile, computer, etc. on technical characteristics, RAM capacity and even internet speed. One of the main reasons for all this is that on the relevant pages of the current educational tables platform, the tables of all study groups, audiences and lecturers of the university are loaded together, which makes it very difficult to find the desired table. In order to clarify all this, I will tell you that when using the online tables of Georgia Technical University on a mobile platform with a smartphone that has 2GB of RAM and we use a 4G Internet connection, the average time required to find and open the study table of the desired group is from 1.7 to 2 minutes. From which the time required to load the page is about 1.6 seconds. Which is really not good. Moreover, if we look at the statistics provided by Google, the technology giant and the world's number one search engine today, we will read that by 2023, the average page load time for a computer will be 2.5 - 8.6 seconds, and the average mobile website load time on a 3G connection will be 19 seconds. We decided to create a new system of online study tables for the Technical University of Georgia, which will improve the university life of every teacher and student of the university, and at the same time, it will further raise the prestige of our respected university, which educates many professionals and has a very long history. Based on these and other motives, we have created and present to you the project called "GTU TABLES - educational tables platform".

The history of emigration and the life of the descendants of Georgian emigrants is interesting from many points of view. From the end of the 19th century to the present, the above-mentioned topic has been touched on by many journalists or scientists, publicists and writers. Emigration was widely reflected in Fridon Khalvashi's work. The work analyzes his ballad "Musa Burseli", in which the artistic face of Akhmed Melashvili is drawn with impressive skill. Akhmed Melashvili was a descendant of Klarj Muhajirs, who lived in Bursa, and who made great contributions to the fight for awakening the national self-awareness of Georgians living in Turkey. Fridon Khalvashi met Ahmed Melashvili in 1968, during the visit of a delegation of Georgian writers to Turkey. Another meeting took place in the 70s when Melashvili was in Georgia. The ballad "Musa Burseli" was written in 1975. The specificity of the motive of emigration is determined, first of all, by historical reality. Muhajiroba was a generational tragedy. All its stages were full of pain: making a decision, preparing to leave, traveling, settling in a new land, the irreversible process of assimilation, etc. The ballad is an appeal to Musa Burseli. The poet seems to be talking to a devoted subject and presents his greatest merits accompanied by pure emotion. The author revives the pictures of the life of the descendants of the emigrants and talks about the immeasurable importance of the unity of Georgians.

Ancient folk theatrical performances have been preserved in villages to this day. These are the ritual performances that do not need a stage, written texts, or the hand of a professional director. This is a mass play in which everyone can participate. The origin of improvised folk theater decorated with music and masks is lost in the depths of centuries. The holiday, which has survived to this day in the ethnographic reality, is connected with the cult of nature and in its essence is a ritual dedicated to fertility and the revival of nature. While researching the details of human existence, the researcher deals directly with the culture, traditions, and way of life of this or that people, the relationship of this or that people with other cultures. This article presents the rural theatrical play "Berobana", which has survived to this day in the village of Madeni (Bazgireti). This theatrical spectacle comes from ancient times and traces of different eras are noticeable in it. A performance similar to Berobana is known in Georgia under the name Berikaba-Keenobi. It is a holiday, carnival, and ritual fun. It is significant that both "berikaoba" and "monasticism" come from one Georgian word - "monk". Bazgireti is a Georgian village in the Shavsheti district of Artvini province. The middle and older generations speak Georgian. In Bazgireti, many ancient Georgian traditions and rich oral traditions have been preserved. Shavsheti was the oldest province of historical South Georgia. Its difficult history was reflected in all spheres of life, and therefore, traces of cultural dialogue are visible in modern Shavsheti.

Otar Chkheidze's novel The Mist describes Georgia's life as part of the Soviet Union. It is not about the first period of the re-annexation of the small country by the Empire, but about the subsequent years, which is also confirmed by one phrase of the main character, Salome: "Thank God, we finished with the “proletculturschina” (proletarian culture) on time." i.e. The "elite" society, which mainly consists of family and relatives of state officials, has the full right to play "aristocracy": gatherings all night, entertainment based on the best planned programs, going to theater and opera every evening, etc. The novel depicts the falsity, ruthlessness, utilitarianism of this society. The author shows and mocks many defects of this society mainly using irony. The novel is based on historical reality - the "cleansing" of scientific institutions by the Soviet ideology from scientists of non-communist, bourgeois thinking, the promotion of non-professionals, “erasing” of honorable and valuable people from science in the name of truth. Otar Chkheidze also describes a specific historical fact - repressions against the Institute of Psychology; not criticism of Uznadze's "Theory of Mood" (which was the image of Georgia abroad and in the entire cultural world), but the attempt by so-called Soviet scientists, to destroy it; Otar Chkheidze does not stop at the literary interpretation of only one fact and shows that the described is typical for the entire Soviet Union. The finale of the work is shrouded in obscurity, the future of the characters is unknown, the reader's interest is high, which the write is well aware of: “A good speaker and a good listener should not be separated from each other so easily, but who knows, will we be named good speaker and good listener, huh? !" When the novel was written, it was still 1954, “the Chief” (Stalin), just died recently and no one knew what new challenges history was preparing for both speakers and listeners; no one knew whether they would remain "good" or not. In addition to showing the historical context and the typicality of the event, our task is also to show the reader that in our society the remnants of Soviet ideology are still strong nowadays, which partly derives from a sense of elitism, while each “regime” has its own elite.

Otar Chkheidze also describes a specific historical fact - repressions against the Institute of Psychology; not criticism of Uznadze's \"Theory of Mood\" (which was the image of Georgia abroad and in the entire cultural world), but the attempt by so-called Soviet scientists, to destroy it; Otar Chkheidze does not stop at the literary interpretation of only one fact and shows that the described is typical for the entire Soviet Union. The finale of the work is shrouded in obscurity, the future of the characters is unknown, the reader's interest is high, which the write is well aware of: “A good speaker and a good listener should not be separated from each other so easily, but who knows, will we be named good speaker and good listener, huh? !\" When the novel was written, it was still 1954, “the Chief” (Stalin), just died recently and no one knew what new challenges history was preparing for both speakers and listeners; no one knew whether they would remain \"good\" or not. In addition to showing the historical context and the typicality of the event, our task is also to show the reader that in our society the remnants of Soviet ideology are still strong nowadays, which partly derives from a sense of elitism, while each “regime” has its own elite.  ","PeriodicalId":12686,"journal":{"name":"GEORGIAN SCIENTISTS","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135095072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
