A Cell Zooming Strategy with Cooperative Transmission and Load Balancing in Hyper Cellular Network 超蜂窝网络中具有协同传输和负载均衡的小区缩放策略

In order to fulfill the demand of high traffic and wide area coverage in dense 5G networks, this paper proposes a new scheme that joint adaptive load balancing and cooperative transmission technology in hyper cellular network (HCN) to improve the edge spectral efficiency and ensure coverage probability. The load status of the TBS is analyzed by control base station (CBS) to realize the rational use of resources. For the heavy-load TBS, CBS control traffic base station (TBS) to perform adaptive cell zooming to optimize user association and achieve load balancing. For the light-load TBS after cell zooming, it should be put into sleeping state to save energy consumption of TBS and reduce interference to active users. In addition, the adaptive clustering sheme is used to alleviate the degradation of user signal quality after cell extending. Then, the integral expression of the coverage probability and the edge spectral efficiency are derived by the stochastic geometric. Numerical simulation analysis is performed and the results show that the proposed scheme gives notable gains in edge spectral efficiency compared to the existing schemes.

Optoelectronic Modelling, Circuit Design and Modulation for Polymer-Light Emitting Diodes for Visible Light Communication Systems 用于可见光通信系统的聚合物发光二极管光电建模、电路设计和调制

This paper investigates the use of organic polymer light emitting diodes (PLEDs) for the use in visible light communications (VLC). We prepared blue and green emitting PLEDs using commercial light-emitting polymers, and then characterised the device emission (spectrum and power), and extracted their circuit parameters for their electrical equivalent model for driving with small signals. In addition, we characterised the bandwidth ($boldsymbol{B_{mod}}$) of the devices over a period of continuous driving (∼ 4 h) and found that for the blue PLEDs the $boldsymbol{B_{mod}}$ decreased from an initial 750 kHz to a steady state of ∼250 kHz. The green-emitting devices were found to benefit from an extended $boldsymbol{B_{mod}}$ of ∼1.5 MHz at the beginning of the test, which then stabilised to ∼850 kHz. Furthermore, with the addition of a first order RC filter we show that, the steady state $boldsymbol{B_{mod}}$ of the blue PLED cane be increased by a factor of ∼3, thus allowing > 1 Mbps non-return to zero on-off keying (NRZ OOK) data transmission in a complete VLC system.

Data Monitoring System of Solar Module with Data Logger for Public Street Lighting Application 带数据记录仪的太阳能组件数据监控系统在公共街道照明中的应用

In satisfying the electrical energy needs of Public Street Lighting, recently the solar energy is one of the alternatives which are widely utilized. The solar energy which is collected by the solar module is converted and stored into a voltage source of electrical energy. In terms of maintenance process, if there are a large number devices of Public Street Lighting, the problem of efficiency arises. The maintenance becomes inefficient if the process has to be conducted one by one for each point and carried out for a time continuously. In this paper, one alternative method is proposed by using a data logger developed using an ATmega328 microcontroller on the solar module of Public Street Lighting. Here, data logger will record and store all data flows and voltages that work on the device. The data which are stored into SD Card storage every 1 minute will be easily accessed and monitored via a personal computer (PC). The performance result shows that the output voltage is influenced by the intensity of light received by the solar module. The output voltage is about 15 volt which corresponds to the received light intensity of 69.4%.

Resource Allocation for Device-to-device Aided Cooperative NOMA with Imperfect CSI 不完全CSI下设备对设备协同NOMA的资源分配

Device-to-device (D2D) aided cooperative nonorthogonal multiple access (DC-NOMA) can enhance the spectral efficiency by integrating D2D communication into cooperative NOMA systems. In this paper, we analyze the performance of DC-NOMA with imperfect channel state information (CSI). We first derive the ergodic rates of both cellular users and D2D users. Then, we formulate a joint relay selection and power allocation problem aiming at maximizing the system sum rate. Finally, we solve the joint problem by modeling it as a two-sided matching problem with one-sided preference. Simulation results are provided to verify our analysis and show that the proposed scheme outperforms conventional cooperative orthogonal multiple access (C-OMA) schemes.

Comparative Study on Energy Efficiency of WSNs and WMSNs for Surveillance Applications 用于监控的wsn与wmsn的能效比较研究

The infrastructure required to deliver various “Internet of Things” (IoT) services is expected to be widely available in the very near future for application areas such as Smart Cities, Smart Homes, Intelligent Transportation and Smart Monitoring in the coming decades. In fact, it is expected that the number of devices connected to the Internet will exceed 50 billion by 2020. It is possible to use these infrastructures for environmental monitoring systems, especially for the early detection and prevention of disasters such as forest fires. Wireless sensors are an essential part of the IoT infrastructure and environmental monitoring/surveillance systems. Wireless sensor networks based on scalar sensors and wireless multimedia sensor networks are widely used for environmental monitoring. Multimedia surveillance systems have better accuracy but a shorter lifetime with multimedia surveillance systems. Therefore, it is necessary to study in detail their energy efficiency to better understand the introduction of more efficient algorithms and architectures. In this study, the lifetimes of the Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs) and Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks(WMSNs) are considered in a comparative way. The results are presented for a forest fire detection case study using simulations as well as an example of a test bench to confirm the accuracy of the simulation tool used.

Beamforming and Parameter Adjustments for Geodesic Antenna Arrays for 5G NR 5G NR测地天线阵列的波束形成和参数调整

For efficient beamforming over entire three-dimensional space using massive arrays, antenna structures in spherical shape can be used for next-generation transceivers. In this paper, we propose the usage of antenna arrays constructed on geodesic spheres for such purposes and analyze the corresponding beamforming performance. In particular, beam patterns generated by geodesic antenna arrays based on icosahedron are evaluated and compared with conventional beam patterns. We also present beamforming vectors for the 12-sector operation of geodesic arrays, which can be applied to practical operation of limited-feedback channel scenarios.

Practical Decoding Scheme for Doubly Irregular Sparse Code Multiple Access 双不规则稀疏码多址的实用译码方案

Doubly irregular sparse code multiple access (DI-SCMA) is a type of sparse code multiple access (SCMA) with irregular degree distributions both in resource node (RN) and user node (UN) to increase the overloading factor. This paper proposes a practical decoding scheme for DI-SCMA having low computational complexity based on using peeling decoding algorithm. We also use mother constellation capable of detecting 4 users simultaneously based on binary shift keying (BPSK)-like mapping leading to a total constellation similar to the 8 phase shift keying (8-PSK). We evaluate the decoding behaviour of the proposed DI-SCMA using extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) chart and computer simulations. Our results confirm the validity of achievable overloading factor using the practical decoding technique with better bit error rate (BER) performances compared to performances of 8-PSK modulations.

Doubling the Rate of Spectrally Efficient FDM Systems Using Hilbert Pulse Pairs 利用希尔伯特脉冲对提高频谱效率的FDM系统速率

This paper proposes a new multi-carrier signal format for spectrally efficient frequency division multiplexing (SEFDM) system to further improve the spectral efficiency, where a Hilbert pair is utilised as pulse-shaping filters. In this work, the square-root raised cosine (SRRC) pulse is employed to generate the Hilbert pulse pair at the transmitter and an equivalent matched filter configuration is used to generate the receiver Hilbert pair. To verify the data rate gain of the proposed system, we generate the mathematical models and carry out simulations with varying compression factor of the SEFDM signals. The numerical modelling results show that the proposed system doubles the data rate relative to conventional SEFDM system with no bit error rate (BER) performance degradation. In addition, results are reported for un-coded transmission and also for system using turbo coding, showing significant BER improvement.

High Throughput and Low Complexity Implementation for Uplink Scheme of 5G Technology 5G技术上行方案的高吞吐量低复杂度实现

In order to increase the efficiency of utilizing transmission bandwidth on 5G technology, a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme is emerging on this research topic to support multiple users for uplink transmission. In this paper, we present an Uplink Sparse code multiple access (SCMA) system based on the euclidean distance between received constellation points and the reference constellation points set and the biding relationship of resources. Low-density Parity-check (LDPC) decoding is used for channel coding in our system. In order to speed up processing latency, a 2-level piplined decoder is proposed. Firstly, we have designed and simulated for 6 users-Uplink SCMA system using MATLAB code, then we have implemented the system using Xilinx Generator. The results show that the system not only ensures BER requirements but also significantly reduces hardware resources and increases transmission throughput compared to the reference system.
