This study aimed to find whether meditation can be effective in terms of post-traumatic stress(PSTD) or not. The purpose of this current study was to analyse the flood victims specifically (IDPs) by the influence of meditation on state post-traumatic stress. Guided meditation is helpful in reduction of the stress. The study analyses how meditation reduces the post-traumatic stress of IDP flood victims. The study is experimental in nature. The survey was conducted from N= 100 participants IDPs by using convenience sampling. SPSS used to quantify the data. The measure used in the research was the 3.7 PTSD checklist civilian version of the flood exposure questionnaire to collect the data from Internally displaced persons. First, for the pre-test, it was provided before the meditation and the second time it was given after the guided meditation for the post-test. The result of the research supports that PTSD can be reduced by meditation.

Moral education is an integral part of the education system for visually impaired students. This study intended to seek moral education for visually impaired students at the school level. This study was quantitative and descriptive. The sample of the study included teachers of visually impaired students (N=81) from the schools of visually impaired students. A self- developed structured questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. The validity of the instrument was assured by the expert opinion (N=03). Statistical data were analyzed with IBM version 23. The data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistical analysis techniques. Frequencies and percentages of the responses along with the Mann-Whitney test were performed to reach the conclusion. The findings of the study revealed that the maximum respondents of the study reported that 53% of teachers of visually impaired students are working on delivering moral education to students with visual impairment at the school level. However, 47% of the respondents experienced various challenges in delivering moral education to students with visual impairment. The study recommended policy-based moral education for students with visual impairment at the school level to make their firm foundation as responsible citizens.

This research was designed to analyze the effect of resilience, depression, behavioural vs. emotional engagement and metacognitive awareness on the achievement motivation of university students. Past research has highlighted the predictive role of cognitive and mental capabilities on the academic achievement of students. A correlational research design was used for the study and 425 participants were selected through purposive sampling and had an almost similar gender distribution. Data collection was done through the Hamilton Depression Inventory, Metacognitive Awareness Scale, Brief Resilience Scale, Engagement Vs. Disaffection with Learning Questionnaire and achievement motivation scale. The results showed that female students exhibited higher scores on resilience, metacognitive awareness, behavioural and emotional engagement, and high orientation towards success and achievement in comparison to their male counterparts who scored high on depression and further showed poorer scores on resilience, metacognitive awareness, and behavioural and emotional engagement.

The aim of the study was to explore the effectiveness of the online mode of teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. For this research a qualitative method was applied and the instrument used to collect data was semi-structured interviews from university teachers. The research conducted under the umbrella of Technology acceptance model. How the teachers from public and private sector universities adopted technology during the COVID-19 and how they engage their students to manage this lockdown period without delay of any class. The findings of the study revealed that teachers of public sector universities faced challenges in the adoption of technology to conduct classes online but the private sector universities through proper management and resources have managed this tech-based leaning during lockdown. When it comes to the public sector universities, the teachers were not facilitated by their institutions to manage this online teaching mode.

Many specialists agree that beliefs have a powerful impact on teachers’ practices. However, it should be taken into account that their attitudes affect their practices as well. This paper is about English language teachers´ attitudes and beliefs. The objective was to share some data from ethnographic research developed with a group of high school English teachers from Larkana. The research data endorsed our hypothesis of the existence of a relationship between belief and attitude, which, to us, until then, was a gap in the studies of Applied Linguistics. Although initially, we had in mind the idea that attitudes could generate beliefs, we verified that attitudes are part of beliefs as well as they are personal, contextual, and incidental, which we explain in this paper. The data were collected through an interview and a questionnaire, which made it possible, based on the teachers' statements, to figure out how beliefs and attitudes operate and converge. That is why a study such as this is relevant since it can contribute to the field so that teachers can understand even better their pedagogical settings.

Present research identified the relationship among female public-school teachers self-esteem and assertive behavior. The purposes of the research were: Firstly to find out the degrees of self-esteem.Secondly to explore the level of assertiveness of school teachers. Thirdly to determine the correlation among school teachers' self-esteem and assertiveness. The total population of the study was comprised of overall 625 public school teachers from Tehsil Hazro, District Attock. Three hundred and thirteen female public-school teachers were included in the study as a sample. The researcher employed Rathus Assertiveness Schedule Questionnaire for measuring assertiveness and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale for calculating self-esteem. Using SPSS software, acquired data was examined by applying descriptive and inferential statistics. In terms of the level of the investigated features, there was some pattern.Assertiveness ratings were also greater for teachers with greater self-esteem compared to those of average and little self-esteem. All teacher groups exhibit this tendency.

This paper examines the current state of career counselling services in Pakistani schools and explores students' and parents' perceptions of these services. This paper provides an understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to career counselling in schools and recommends strategies to improve the delivery of these services. The paper highlights the limited availability of trained career counsellors in schools, the lack of awareness among students and parents about the benefits of career counselling, and the focus of the academic curriculum on traditional subjects rather than career guidance. The recommendations investing in training career counsellors, establishing dedicated career counselling centres in schools, revising the curriculum to include career guidance, launching awareness campaigns to educate students and parents, and involving parents in the career counselling process. By implementing these recommendations, stakeholders can work together to provide students with the necessary guidance and support to make informed decisions about their future careers and contribute to the country's economic growth and overall well-being.
