The effect of two different teaching methods on “Higher Order Thinking Skills” (HOTS) of elementary-level science learners was analyzed in this research. This is an emerging field in research globally as well as in the Pakistani scenario. The research design used for this project was a "pre-test and post-test control group design”. Two sections comprising 40 students were selected randomly and were taught with two different teaching methods; the "experimental group" engaged by "Problem Based Learning Method" (PBLM) while the “control group” dealt with the "Traditional Method" (TM). The academic performance of the students was evaluated through an Achievement Test of Science (ATS).Post analysis data study showed that the performance of the “experimental group” engaged by the“problem-based learning method” was better on “higher order thinking skills” at elementary level science. The study findings may be helpful for science teachers, teachers training institutions, and other educational stakeholders.

The present study aims to investigate the association of parenting style and academic performance in school students. The sample comprised of district Lahore school students. Parent were recruited from different rural and urban areas of Lahore district. Students were asked to report information about both mother and father. The scales to study variables were used as parent burnout assessment (PBA), Emotional regulation questionnaire (EQR), Parenthood constellation (PCON),Cor parental cooperation (COP), Parent violence and neglect (PVIO), to observe parent’s attitude towards student performance. Anova and t-test have been applied to test hypothesis to find out significant relationship between parenting style and student’s academic performance. Findings indicate that parenting style is the significant predictor of academic performance. Further study found that there is significant relationship between parenting styles of mother with student performance but there is different between parenting style of mothers and fathers.

Finding a meaningful career path is a turning point in a student's development as a person and a member of society. A Mixed-methods Explanatory Sequential design was used to collect and analyse the data. The population of the study was all of the professors of universities in Lahore, Pakistan sample size was 456 professors. Surveys were used to get quantitative data, which was then analysed with SPSS. The goal of this study was to find out how making well-informed choices about a young person's future can affect their chances of getting a job. As a result, researchers came up with new ways to help college students with career counselling that have worked well. There were both theoretical and practical implications of the study's findings, as well as possible directions for further research.

The conflict has become integral in educational institutions. Institutional administrator plays a vital role in handling the conflict efficiently. The way leaders control the conflict can affect the staff and institutional performance. This research focuses on identifying the conflict management styles of principals. This study was descriptive and quantitative in nature. Teachers working in government degree colleges located in central Punjab were the target population of the study. There are 339 government degree colleges in central Punjab and 4623 teachers (male and female) are working in these colleges. The sample was selected by using the multistage sampling technique. Sample of this research comprised 884 teachers (male and female). The questionnaire was used for the collection of data. Mean standard deviation and frequency in descriptive statistics whereas independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA was used in inferential statistics. Results of the study revealed that principals are using different styles to manage conflict. The dominating style was being used by female principals, whereas male principals preferred to use compromising and avoiding style to handle conflict in government degree colleges of Punjab.

The key objective of the study was to 'determine the views of ESL students regarding English language classroom environment in obstructing communicative collaboration and to assess the impact of English language classroom environment in obstructing communicative collaboration among ESL students. To realize the prior drive this research uses the mixed method approach and for the proper execution of this work the researcher collected data through a questionnaire. Research data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). A major portion of the students agreed that the existing classroom environment of BS English is absolutely unfavorable for the best communicative interaction as it produces negative impacts on learning. This undesirable situation can be altered altogether by extending the role of the English language teacher as in most of the Outer Circle countries like Pakistan teacher is considered the custodian of the class and the most authoritative figure in the ESL classroom.

The relationship of sleep, recovery and performance was the pivot of this research study. The role of sleep is vital for the health, physiological, and cognitive functioning of players. However, the complex processes of sleep are yet unclear. A bulk of literature is available documenting the effect of sleep upon human health, and a meager amount of information exists about the role of sleep in the perspectives of players. Respondents of this research study comprised of 82 university players representing Cricket, Foot Ball, Hockey, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Track and Field events. Data were collected using an adapted questionnaire, "Athlete Sleep Behavior Questionnaire”. Anova and Coefficients were used for the analysis of data. Analysis revealed that there exists a highly significant association between sleep, recovery, and performance of the players. Similarly, the role of sleep in the perspective of recovery and performance of the player has also been found highly significant. Considering the findings of the study, it is suggested that players should be provided a conducive environment for sound sleep, ensuring having the proper amount of sleep during all three phases, including pre, during, and post-competition to have a rapid recovery and good performance.

Education is a systemic framework for building the cornerstone of civilization. It is animportant factor in any country's success worldwide. Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a branch ofeducational philosophy that refers to education for young children up to the age of eight years. The mainobjective of this study was to find out teachers’ perceptions of this ECE setup. A teacher is a part andparcel of our education system and any policy can’t succeed without satisfaction. The population of thisstudy was teachers involved in early childhood education set up in the district Nankana Sahib. Whereas,308 teachers were selected as a sample using a stratified sampling technique. The data was collectedthrough instruments by survey method. On the whole, it was found that most of the statements on thequestionnaire had a mean score higher than 3 which shows teachers’ positive perception of the ECEsetup. There was a significant difference in the perception of teachers based on gender. This study isbeneficial for the development of early childhood education.

The present study was designed to find out the effect of science teachers' attitudes on the academic performance of secondary graders. This study was quantitative in nature that employed a causal comparative research design. The tools used to measure the attitude of teachers was a questionnaire, while academic achievement was determined from the result of BISE. The data collection tool was validated by experts to check its validation, while the reliability of the tool was ensured by piloting it on 80 students. The final version of the questionnaire has a reliability value 0.83. for data collection, 700 teachers were sampled from the total population by using purposive sampling and a questionnaire was administered to them by the researchers personally. The results of the data show that the attitude of teachers are varied across different factors.

The purpose of the research was to predict teachers' emotional intelligence, intellectual misery, and quality of life, as well as to find out how things like gender and location affect these things. The final study was quantitative and used a correlational method to analyse the results. A self-superior and coextended questionnaire is used to gather information about college professors. In the first part of the questionnaire, basic information about the person's background is collected. In the second part, the most important factors are looked at, such as EQ and signs of depression. For this study, data were taken from 200 college professors who were chosen at random. A sampling strategy makes it easy to get information from the target population. SPSS was used to look at both descriptive statistics (mean, percentage, and common deviation) and inferential statistics (correlation coefficient). The results show that the different levels of emotional intelligence among university professors are statistically different. It also turned out that teachers in private schools are more likely to be emotionally intelligent than teachers in public schools.
