The learning process is one of the important activities in a student’s daily life. The higher level of education would get more academic demands that will lead to the regular learning processes and concentration needed. The needs for good quality of learning process is also experienced by college students. Based on the level of the study period time, college students are divided into first, middle, and final levels. Each level has a different way of learning. Sometimes stress or pressure arises due to academic demands and the difficulties experienced by college students in their learning process. A comfortable ambiance in the study room is needed to support the learning process and reduce student’s stress. Based on this phenomenon, college students are starting to look for other places outside their campus and homes that can accommodate their learning needs and reduce stress. Public buildings and facilities are chosen by them as a place for their learning activities. The use of public spaces has begun to function as study spaces because college students consider these places more comfortable and flexible for studying individually or in groups. The higher the need, a public facility that is built for college student learning activity is needed. Not just as a space, but specifically designed to be able to support various ways of learning and be able to reduce the student’s stress. Keywords: flexible; learning; public; space; student Abstrak Kegiatan belajar tidak lepas dari kehidupan sehari-hari pelajar, terutama mahasiswa. Semakin tinggi tingkat pendidikan maka tuntutan akademik semakin besar sehingga proses belajar yang rutin dan konsentrasi yang cukup diperlukan. Keperluan akan tingginya kebutuhan belajar turut dialami oleh mahasiswa perguruan tinggi. Berdasarkan tingkatannya masa studinya, mahasiswa terbagi menjadi tingkat pertama, menengah, dan akhir. Masing-masing tingkatan memiliki cara belajar yang berbeda. Tidak jarang timbul stres atau tekanan yang dialami akibat tuntutan akademik dan kesulitan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa dalam proses belajar. Kenyamanan dalam ruang belajar diperlukan untuk menunjang proses belajar dan meminimalisir stres mahasiswa. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, mahasiswa kini mulai mencari tempat lain di luar kampus dan rumah yang dapat mengakomodir kebutuhan belajar dan mengurangi stres yang terjadi dalam prosesnya. Bangunan dan fasilitas publik dipilih oleh mahasiswa untuk melangsukan kegiatan belajarnya. Akibatnya penggunaan ruang publik mulai banyak yang terfungsikan sebagai ruang belajar karena mahasiswa menganggap tempat tersebut lebih nyaman, leluasa dan fleksibel untuk belajar secara individu maupun berkelompok. Semakin tingginya kebutuhan tersebut, maka diperlukan suatu fasilitas publik yang dibangun untuk kegiatan belajar mahasiswa. Tidak sekedar ruang saja, tetapi yang terdesain secara khusus untuk dapat menunjang berbagai cara belajar dan mampu mengurangi stres yang dialami oleh mahasiswa.

Student dormitories have an important role in providing a comfortable place to live and support their social development. However, dormitories often only focus on physical aspects, such as providing sleeping space and basic facilities, without paying attention to the social needs of students. In this context, implementing empathetic communal spaces is a relevant solution. By implementing empathetic communal spaces, dormitories provide attention and respect for students as individuals in a dormitory environment. This communal space is designed to support students' social development, allowing them to share experiences, ideas and creativity. This approach is based on empathic architecture, which aims to create an environment that pays attention to and cares for the social needs of students. The application of communal space in student dormitory designs as a solution to empathic architecture makes a positive contribution in creating an environment that pays attention to students' social needs. This not only promotes healthy social interaction between students, but also enhances their experience of living during their studies in the hostel. With an empathic communal space, students can feel supported, valued and cared for as individuals, which in turn can help in their social development. In conclusion, the application of communal space in student dormitory design as a solution to empathic architecture has a positive impact on creating an environment that pays attention to the social needs of students. This creates a space for healthy social interaction and enhances their life experience during their study period at the hostel. Currently, 500 million people worldwide with an average age of 60 are suffering from depression in old age. In the year of 2000, there were 22.3 million elderly people in Indonesia with a life expectancy of 65 to 75 years. By 2020, with a life expectancy of 70 to 75 years, it increased by 11.09 percent (more than 29.12 million) and is projected to reach 1.2 billion by 2025. This research aims to provide design ideas for the elderly to feel comfortable and content by accommodating their needs for a community center for the elderly. This study was conducted using qualitative descriptive research method and design method based on phenomena. Through this research, it can be concluded that the design of a community center with a healing environment concept can be an alternative that helps the elderly overcome depression by applying the principles of a healing environment, which include determining appropriate programs for the elderly, such as a functional senior park, walking garden, communal area, creativity space, doctor's consultation room, health clinic, and open area designed with the principles of a healing environment, including independence, consciousness, connectedness, purpose, physical activities, and restorative elements. By creating an environment of a community center for the elderly, a sense of togetherness is fostered through interactions among the elderly, preventing depression caused by loneliness, which impacts both physical and psychological health. Kenderan Tourism Village, a traditional settlement, is still developing today. The word kendran stands for the word sense, which is a pengater (prefix) ke and pangiring (suffix) an, so it actually becomes the word kendran, kasutr which becomes kendran. Tourism development has now become a major part of Indonesia's national development and also a source of national income. Indonesia is a country rich in diversity of art, culture and natural beauty. This wealth has the potential to be empowered through the development of tourism, including tourist villages. Tourism development is related to the role of local communities in a tourist destination. However, in Gianyar regency, there are many tourist villages that can be said to be competing with each other, therefore the authors conducted a positional study of the existence of Kenderan village against other tourist villages because Kenderan village has a lot of potential. Pengembangan pariwisata kini sudah menjadi bagian utama dari adanya pembangunan nasional Indonesia dan juga sumber dari pendapatan nasional. Indonesia adalah negara yang kaya dengan keanekaragaman seni, budaya dan keindahan alam. Kekayaan tersebut memiliki potensi untuk diberdayakan melalui pengembangan pariwisata, termasuk desa wisata. Muaro Jambi Temple is the largest Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in Southeast Asia which is possibly a historical heritage from the Sriwijaya kingdom and the Malay kingdom located in Muaro Jambi Regency. Because it is a relic of an ancient site that is hundreds of years old, Muaro Jambi Temple is vulnerable to transitional climates due to layers of rock that have begun to collapse. This paper aims to find out how the Muaro Jambi Temple is managed in order to increase the potential in the Muaro Jambi Temple History area. According to the results of research conducted by the author, Muaro Jambi Temple has added value to become a cultural tourism spot because of its many historical values which can also add to the knowledge of visiting tourists. Muaro Jambi Temple has been designated as a world heritage by UNESCO. To go to the location of the Muaro Jambi Temple is not too far from the city center, it only takes 30 minutes with a distance of 25 km from the center of Jambi. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan Candi Muaro Jambi agar dapat meningkatkan potensi pada kawasan Sejarah Candi Muaro Jambi. Menurut hasil penelitian yang penulis lakukan, Candi Muaro Jambi memiliki nilai tambah untuk menjadi tempat wisata budaya dikarenakan nilai sejarahnya yang banyak juga bisa menambah pengetahuan bagi wisatawan yang datang. Candi Muaro Jambi sudah di tetapkan sebagai warisan duania oleh UNESCO. Untuk menuju ke lokasi Candi Muaro Jambi tidak terlalu jauh dari pusat kota, hanya memerlukan waktu 30 menit saja dengan jarak tempuh 25 km dari pusat kota Jambi.

The daily differences between workers and the elderly make it difficult for a retiree to adapt. This can cause the elderly to feel isolated and become stressed. The aging process which has an impact on the physical and psychological condition of an elderly person is also a limitation for the retired elderly to be able to carry out productive activities. Because of these conditions, the elderly are often considered vulnerable and weak, when in fact there are still many elderly who are able and want to do activities productively. The elderly themselves still have social responsibilities towards other generations, whereas an elderly person should guide the next generation based on the experiences they have. Therefore, currently we need a place for the elderly to retire in urban areas to be able to carry out their activities productively and carry out their role as the person in charge of intergeneration. This study uses a qualitative approach, which is obtained based on literacy of urban elderly, intergenerational, and third place architecture, observations and interviews of retired elderly in the Jabodetabek area. The findings obtained are in the form of the role of the elderly in the social life of the community as a syntonist between generations which makes people's lives harmonious. This role makes the elderly have a response in the form of caring or generativity towards the next generation. The existence of an important responsibility towards society makes the elderly feel gerotranscendence, where they can see the aging process as something positive. In daily life, the space used by the elderly is also inaccurate due to collapsed places. This causes adjustments to their own third places. Thus, the resulting program design will have spatial and spatial proximity between the first, second, and third places. Globalization has brought many significant changes and impacts to the world, both positive and negative. On the one hand, globalization has brought technological advances and information that enable access to faster and easier information and communication, as well as increasing international trade and foreign investments that can drive economic growth. On the other hand, globalization is also potentially exacerbating the social and economic disparity between strong and weak countries, as well as strengthening the influence of multinational forces and global organizations to make decisions that can affect human life. And free association is one of the effects of globalization itself. Promiscuity is a social phenomenon with such a variety of forms as murder, alcoholic beverages, smoking, brawling, and sexual promiscuity. Casual sex is one form of free association and the effects of casual sex: premature marriage, abortion, and HIV. HIV is a very lethal impact. The spread of HIV is free of the three factors: female entertainers, drug use, and poor dipper. Female entertainers are a form of sexual promiscuity. On the other hand, a lack of empathy for society leads to mental, psychological and biological problems for prostitutes. In this regard, empathy for female entertainers also plays a key role in promoting more inclusive and friendly social changes for individuals involved in tuna. In building empathy for female comforters, society needs to treat them with respect, tolerance, and understanding. Thus, it is hoped that a more inclusive and friendly social environment will be created for all individuals in society, through architecture. The project employs methods of juhani pallasmaa's theory "an architecture of seven sense" and "the eyes of the skin: architecture and sense" and through data collecting from BPS's internal media, e.book, surveys, interviews and semisters, and analysis of the needs of the surrounding communities. Indonesia has eight provinces that have entered the phase of an aging population structure. Meanwhile, DKI Jakarta has 8.91% of its population consisting of elderly individuals. The elderly phase is the final stage of life. During this phase, individuals experience physiological, affective, cognitive, and psychosocial declines, making the presence of someone who can assist and accompany the elderly in their daily activities crucial. This often leads to feelings of loneliness in the elderly, as they sometimes miss their children or require socialization and activities to fill their time.The objective of this research is to provide a platform for the elderly to experience happiness, peace, and prosperity, and to change the perception that old age marks the beginning of life and that entering old age means reaping the rewards of our hard work in our younger years and enjoying the present. Through this research, it is hoped to develop a design solution that helps the elderly overcome loneliness. The methods employed in this research are qualitative methods and design methods that focus on the phenomenon of abandoned elderly individuals as the basis for the design. Based on the research findings, it is found that the housing and community club design concept of the Senior Cielo Community Club, utilizing a behavioral architecture and well-being approach, can be an effective alternative in assisting abandoned and lonely elderly individuals in achieving a more peaceful, prosperous, and meaningful life. Masa lansia ini merupakan masa paling akhir dalam fase kehidupan. Dalam masa ini, manusia akan mengalami penurunan fisiologis, afektif, kognitif, maupun psikososial sehingga keberadaan orang yang dapat membantu dan menemani lansia dalam aktivitas sehari-hari sangat diperlukan. Hal inilah yang seringkali menyebabkan loneliness/kesepian dalam diri lansia karena kadang lansia merasa rindu dengan anaknya/membutuhkan kegiatan sosialisasi dan aktivitas-aktivitas yang dapat mengisi waktu lansia. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mewadahi lansia untuk mendapatkan rasa bahagia, damai, sejahtera dan mengubah persepsi bahwa usia lansia ini adalah awal dari kehidupan dan memasuki masa tua berarti kita memetik hasil kerja keras kita di usia muda dan waktunya untuk berbahagia. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan olah rancangan yang membantu lansia bebas dari rasa kesepian. All parents must really love and want to give the best for their children. In order to provide the best, parents have to work from morning to evening to support their children and provide financial support. However, as a parent, feelings of anxiety arise because you have to always be away from your child, you feel confused about what to do, you are afraid that your baby will be sad and lonely. While the cognitive and motor development of children at an early age is very important because it will determine how the child grows later. Not a few families leave their children with their grandmother or hire a babysitter because they think this is the best solution for their condition of having to work. Abroad, both parents who work usually leave their children at daycare. In Daycare children usually spend time According to a 2020 study that analyzed 25 states across the country, 8.4 million children under the age of five are in need of child care. However, only about 5.9 million childcare slots are available. Thus, around 2.7 million children, or 31.7%, cannot access quality child care due to the limited number of child care slots. This shows that when both parents have to work, they need help to raise or educate their children. In this study, a qualitative method was used by implementing the behavior in the case study taken in this study, namely Daycare. This aims to help design a daycare that supports their development, especially for children who have been abandoned by their parents. Demi memberikan yang terbaik, orang tua harus bekerja dari pagi hingga sore untuk menghidupi sang anak dan memberikan dukungan finansial. Namun sebagai orang tua, perasaan cemas timbul karena harus selalu jauh dari anak, merasa bingung harus bagaimana, takut sang buah hati sedih dan kesepian. Sementara perkembangan kognitif dan motorik anak di usia dini sangat penting karena akan menentukan bagaimana tumbuhnya anak nantinya. Tidak sedikit keluarga yang menitipkan anak kepada nenek atau mempekerjakan seorang babysitter karena menurut mereka hal ini merupakan sebuah solusi yang paling baik untuk kondisi mereka yang harus bekerja. Di luar negeri kedua orang tua yang bekerja biasanya menitipkan anak pada daycare dan dalam daycare tersebut anak-anak biasanya menghabiskan waktu. Menurut sebuah studi tahun 2020 yang menganalisis 25 negara bagian di seluruh negeri, 8.4 juta anak di bawah usia lima tahun membutuhkan perawatan anak. Repositioning a shopping mall is a strategic approach aimed at revitalizing and defining its image and tenant offerings to adapt to market dynamics. The competitive retail industry, particularly shopping malls, faces various challenges, including changing consumer behavior or lifestyles and the emergence of online shopping systems, all of which have been impacted by the global COVID-19 pandemic. To remain relevant and attract customers, shopping malls need to undergo a repositioning process, which involves realigning target market segmentation, brand identity, tenant mix, and overall positioning in the market. In more detail, the repositioning process generally involves several key steps, including market research, brand evaluation, and the implementation of new marketing concepts. This includes introducing new retail concepts, enhancing the ambiance and design of the shopping mall, integrating entertainment elements and unique experiences, and creating a diverse mix of tenants that appeal to the target market. By understanding the changing demands, shopping malls can adjust their offerings and shopping experiences to better cater to the target audience.This study utilizes a descriptive method to describe the market conditions and the physical environment surrounding Pasaraya Blok M. The research results in the identification of Pasaraya Blok M's position and the development of repositioning strategies considering various factors such as supply-demand, trade area, catchment area, and potential competitors.
