Structure and properties of syndiotactic polypropylene 共规聚丙烯的结构与性能

Syndiotactic polypropylene prepared by new polymerization technology has been found to be soft and clear and exhibits completely different characteristics compared with conventional isotactic polypropylene so far mostly studied. Relationship between properties and structure in polypropylene has been discussed. Electrical properties of this new type of syndiotactic polypropylene have also been studied and discussed in terms of morphology of the film which depends on preparation condition.

Interfacial conditions and space charge in PE laminates PE层合板的界面条件与空间电荷

Heterocharge develops in the polyethylene of MI=6 while homocharge developes in the polyethylene of MI=24. The negative interfacial charge was observed in both PE1 laminates and PE2 laminates. This interfacial charge decreases as the laminating temperature increases and finally becomes unclear. Silicone oil enhances the formation of interfacial charge whereas the chemicals such as acetophenone and 4-ethylnitrobenzenes decreases the interfacial charge. Therefore, it is expected that the change in interfacial conditions leads to a modification of interfacial charge and thus the space charge in the system containing the interfaces.

Dielectric liquid from vegetable origin-Indian beech oil 来自植物的介电液体——印度山毛榉油

Indian beech oil has been converted to methyl ester by the trans-esterification method. The physical, chemical, electrical and thermal ageing parameters have been evaluated in comparison with presently used insulating fluids. The ageing properties of methyl ester of Indian beech oil have been found to be better than the mineral insulating oils, imported Midel 7131 and RTemp fluids. The results are encouraging and the new ester has the potential to replace fast depleting petroleum resources in the field of electrical application.

Effect of acetophenone on electric conduction in LDPE film 苯乙酮对LDPE薄膜导电性的影响

We study the effect of an acetophenone coating on high field dc conduction of LDPE films. The existence of acetophenone at the electrode interface and the bulk of LDPE significantly promotes both electronic carrier injection from the electrode and its transport. When the polarity of the applied field is reversed, it is supposed that the current behavior is associated with the balance between the electron injection promoted by the hetero space charge and the hole injection which is relatively easy for the gold electrode.

Although precisely defined magnetic modulation of prebreakdown current occurs in silicone oil, it has been elusive to observe when transformer oil was the dielectric liquid. Other workers have consistently reported little conclusive evidence of such an effect. It is the purpose here to report some unexpected results using the ramped voltage technique in transformer oil.

We present TSC and TSD data recorded in the temperature range -80 to 100 /spl deg/C on LDPE samples subjected to an accelerated oxidation before and after exposure to X-irradiation. We show that, contrary to expectation, the oxidation of the samples following the radiation exposure causes a reversal of a TSD peak originally created by X-irradiation. Oxidation of the samples, but without X-irradiation, does not greatly affect the injection temperature but increases the injection level.

This work focuses on the most recent contributions given mainly by the author and his coworkers to life modeling of insulating materials and systems. In particular, the general phenomenological model valid for combined thermal-electrical stresses is briefly introduced, and models for electrical aging based on charge injection and trapping, as well as on tree growth, are outlined. Moreover, some hints on the probabilistic approach are provided.

Partial discharge in medium voltage extruded cable joints 中压挤压电缆接头局部放电

The main thrust of this work was to interpret the levels of PD in underground distribution extruded cable joints and accessories and use measurement of partial discharges to predict failure. This work also pursues objectives regarding safety of personnel working on underground structures. At first, the concept of a decision threshold (i.e. a PD level above which no work should be allowed) was set as an objective. Earlier papers have reported on a series of accelerated aging tests on brand new joints of the same type and joints removed from service that were designed to find an actual value for this threshold, using a portable PD detector developed by our company. This paper presents selected results on 36 brand new joints of different types. Some of these joints were assembled correctly, but others were set up to fail prematurely, either by making the metallic connector overheat, or by interfacial breakdown.

Investigation into the space charge distribution near the interface between metallic electrode and dielectric liquid 金属电极与介电液体界面附近空间电荷分布的研究

The space charge and electric field distribution in dielectric liquids between electrodes are measured by using a Kerr electro-optic system. After DC field application for 1 h to nitrobenzene with Al electrodes, the electric field near the interface is enhanced by a factor of 3. In order to improve the electric field distribution near the interface, the electrode surfaces are coated with silicon varnish to form an electrode/solid insulator interface. The electric field and space charge distribution are greatly improved by using the insulation coating.
