Development of the model describing the current-time characteristic in liquid dielectrics 建立描述液体介质电流-时间特性的模型

Application of a step DC voltage to a dielectric liquid can provoke transient processes which are due to creation and distribution of space charges. Their existence is proved from specific dependencies of charging, discharging and reversal currents on time. In this paper computer calculations of the current-time characteristics for this transient time interval are presented. It is assumed that the volume recombination rate is a function of time.

Estimation of the structure non-homogeneity of multicomponent insulation of electrical machines using digital measuring methods 用数字测量方法估计电机多分量绝缘的结构非均匀性

Preliminary studies show that multichannel pulse-height analysis of partial discharges is useful for evaluating the state of the complex dielectric material of the glass fabric/mica paper/resin type, employed for high voltage insulation of electrical machines. Charge distributions of partial discharges characterising the proper samples and those overheated during pressing differ substantially. All the selected parameters characterising partial discharges, determined on the basis of charge distributions, such as the total charge Q, the maximum charge Q/sub max/, and the total charge of the last distribution ranges (e.g. charges Q/sub >75%/ or Q/sub >50%/) are of much greater values for the samples overheated during pressing than for the samples properly pressed.

Effect of electrical aging on space charge distribution in polyethylene 电老化对聚乙烯空间电荷分布的影响

The dependence of the space charge distribution of a polyethylene sample on injecting time or aging time is studied using the pulsed electroacoustic method. In non-aged samples, the space charges, originated from homo-polar electrode injection, distribute in the vicinity of the electrode interface. It is shown that charge injecting time affects the peak height and width of the space charge distribution curve. In aged samples the amount of space charges increase significantly, and their distribution peaks with positive and negative polarities appear alternatively, which gets more apparent with aging time.

Diagnostic measurements of high voltage polymeric cable insulation 高压聚合物电缆绝缘的诊断测量

This paper describes two techniques that can help to diagnose the operating conditions of polymeric cable insulation. The first, the oxidative induction time (OIT) measurements, requires obtaining specimens of the insulation and performing tests in a laboratory. Insulation samples can be taken, for example, after the first cable failure. The second technique, which measures the harmonic distortion of an ac loss component of the current flowing through the insulation, could evolve into an in situ diagnostic technique.

A study on electrical breakdown by water treeing in XLPE 交联聚乙烯(XLPE)水树电击穿研究

We investigated the space charge characteristics in sheet samples under AC field which have water trees developed by using various kinds of electrolytes. The results show that: homo charge was formed around the tip of water trees independent of the electrolyte species; the amount of space charge varied with electrolyte species (among the electrolytes used, ferrous sulfate induced the largest space charge in spite of water tree growth being relatively small); the space charge induced by water trees changes the internal field distribution in the insulation; the harmfulness of specific ions with regard to electrical breakdown cannot be explained simply by the change in the field distribution.

It is shown that during the electrical aging of polyethylene (PE) insulation the velocity of the leading branch of the dendrite movement may increase as well as decrease. The growth of the fractal dimension level occurs in both cases. The character of this process depends on the level of the applied voltage. The dendrites, formed during the electrical aging of PE insulation, possess fractal properties not only in the space but also in the time domain.

Investigation of field energized RTV coated porcelain insulators 励磁RTV涂层瓷绝缘子的研究

Room temperature vulcanized (RTV) silicone rubber coating is effective to improve the contamination performance of porcelain and glass insulators. However, the long-term aging performance of RTV coating in the field has not been investigated so far. This report describes the results and analysis of field energized RTV coated porcelain insulators exposed for several years in various fields which are located in coastal, industrial, desert, and high humidity environments in the USA and Japan.

The influence of dust particles on the DC breakdown voltage of rod-rod air gaps 粉尘颗粒对棒-棒气隙直流击穿电压的影响

The rod-rod gap has been adopted by the IEC as a mean of measurement of direct voltages in HVDC transmission. However, its performance, in areas where dust suspension in air is a common meteorological characteristic, is not known. This paper investigates the influence of dust particles on the positive and negative DC breakdown voltage of rod-rod air gap clearances for voltages up to /spl sim/ 250 kV. It is shown that dust particles can have a serious effect on direct voltage breakdown characteristics of such gaps. Some prebreakdown discharge studies related to these effects are also presented.

High-field AC dissipation current waveforms of nonpolar polymeric films superposed by DC ramp voltage 直流斜坡电压叠加非极性聚合物薄膜的高场交流耗散电流波形

In this study, we studied the high-field AC dissipation current waveforms of an oxidized polypropylene (OPP) film under the superposition of DC ramp voltage at 27/spl deg/C, 60/spl deg/C and 90/spl deg/C. To examine the carrier injection from the electrode, two kinds of metals, Au and Al, were used as the electrode materials. The observed results show the dissipation current waveforms depend largely on the electrode material in the high-field and high-temperature region. These results agree with our previous hypothesis where the carrier injection from the electrode is assisted by the hetero space charge in the vicinity of the electrodes. Based on these results, we discussed the AC conduction mechanisms of oxidized polypropylene in the high-field and high-temperature region.

Analytic models are considered for trap-controlled and hopping carrier transport and recombination in disordered materials for both equilibrium and non-equilibrium (dispersive) regimes. It is shown that practically all characteristics of trap-controlled and hopping transport and recombination are similar at sufficiently high temperatures and for sufficiently long times. Experimental conditions which allow one to distinguish between different modes of carrier transport and recombination for a particular material are discussed.
