Design, analysis and comparison between CNTFET based ternary SRAM cell and PCRAM cell 基于CNTFET的三元SRAM电池与PCRAM电池的设计、分析与比较

This paper presents variation and comparison between emerging memory devices i.e, ternary SRAM cell and PCRAM cell. In nano range devices, Carbon nanotubes field effect transistor (CNTFET) have shown a remarkable performance. CNTFET has been proved as better replacement for silicon devices. Ternary logic emerges as better alternative to the conventional binary logic because of its simplicity and energy efficiency. Ternary logic has been proven as good candidate for high performance digital designs because of reduced overhead. Also the researchers are working towards amalgamation of techniques and PCRAM emerged as promising candidate. All the circuits have been simulated on HSPICE circuit simulator tool using 32nm technology. On the other hand, PCRAM cell using GST and the simulation result has been done using HSPICE modeling. In this paper a new CNTFET based Ternary SRAM cell has been proposed. The paper also contains numerous physical parameters to model PCRAM behavior. A PCRAM device exhibits the reset pulse width at 20ns and set pulse width at 100μs.

Design of fuzzy modified model reference adaptive controller for coupled tank process 耦合油箱过程模糊修正模型参考自适应控制器的设计

Flow control and level control has always been key issues in chemical process industries since many years. In this paper we have applied a model reference adaptive control (MRAC) technique to nonlinear level process. The MRAC design with good transient as well as steady state response is a challenging task. This paper examines the design of a Fuzzy Modified MRAC controller for nonlinear coupled tank process to obtain improved transient response along with good steady state response. The simulation results obtained by MATLAB shows that proposed design technique gives improved transient response than MRAC technique.

Filter bank spectrum sensing for Cognitive Radio oriented wireless network 面向认知无线电无线网络的滤波器组频谱感知

Cognitive Radio (CR) is an emerging and fascinating wireless technology for the opportunistic use of under spectrum that promises to change the future technological trends forever if employed in a proper way. For communication the most prevailing job that cognitive radio performs is to enthusiastically search for the portions of the frequency band in the radio spectrum. Hence at every node of the Cognitive radio, network is reinvigorated by a spectrum analyser. This paper includes, introduction of a filter bank, a contrivance in CR systems for spectrum sensing. Numerous aspects of spectrum analyser methods are discussed. Wherein Thomson's Multi-taper method, is been accepted as the pre-eminent spectrum analyser in CR system for the detection of spectrum.

A small novel rectangular microstrip-fed antenna for ultra wide band applications 一种用于超宽带应用的小型新型矩形微带馈电天线

In this paper a small effective design of compact micro strip UWB antenna with step impedance micro strip-feed line is proposed. The antenna consists of an indented rectangular patch with many small effectives lots on the front face of the substrate and a partial ground is indented on the bottom of the substrate. The antenna patch has dimension 34mm ×36mm (L×W) is fabricated usingFR-4epoxy dielectric with thickness 1.6mm and relative permittivity of 4.4. The proposed antenna has the band width capability of operating frequency between 3.2GHz to 10.9GHz with a 7.7 GHz bandwidth (fh-fl). The designed antenna has Omni-direction radiation pattern on most of the Operating band. Feed line used has characteristic impedance of 49.6ohm. The proposed antenna is analyzed in time domain to check its appropriateness for UWB applications. In the design Antenna the bandwidth is increased up to 106%. The proposed antenna has measured VSWR value <;2. Antenna parameters such as return loss and radiation pattern show reasonable agreement with the reenacted results.

An efficient algorithm for Gender Detection using voice samples 一种基于语音样本的性别检测算法

Acoustic signal, speech, having a property for detecting the gender of a speaker. This is well known as Gender Detection (GD). In this paper, we propose pitch based gender detection algorithm. Pitch is the fundamental frequency of speech signal. Gender Detection using pitch can be performed in time domain, frequency domain, or in both. In this current paper, we propose an efficient time domain based gender detection (GD) algorithm, where, we use Autocorrelation (ACF) as pitch detection technique, and K-Means as a classifier. In our algorithm, we introduce efficient frame selection techniques to determine the pitch from speech signal. This technique not only improves the performance of the pitch detection algorithms, but also it improves the classifier efficiency. Our proposed algorithm was verified over a forty speaker based speech database, and the percentage of correctness for the gender classification was measured. The performance was improved after our algorithm was implemented.

A novel probe-fed tunable broadband antenna using stub loaded configuration 一种新型的探头馈电可调谐宽带天线

In this paper, a novel broadband microstrip patch antenna (MPA) using stub loaded configuration is proposed to enhance the bandwidth of antenna. This antenna is designed for circular radiating patch of 18.2 mm radii to achieve broadband frequency 2.285-2.45 GHz which supports IEEE 802.11 WLAN communications. The percentage bandwidth improves by using variable stub length and fixed width on circular patch antenna. Furthermore, the bandwidth enhanced by 7.2 percent at resonant frequency 2.3 GHz.

In this letter, the proposed antenna has four frequency bands centered at 0.98, 2.8, 3.7, 4.7 GHz and has very a compact size of 30 × 40 × 1.57 mm3 including the ground plane and the above patch. Array of I slots are cut into ground plane of different lengths and S shape is cut into patch. Proposed antenna has-10dB impedance bandwidth of 1006 MHz (0.87-1.93 GHz), 600 MHz (2.54-3.14 GHz), 300 MHz(3.6-3.9 GHz), 300 MHz(4.5-4.8 GHz) which covers GSM bands, WiMAX and other wireless application. Fabricated prototype is also presented which has return loss of 8.42 dB at 1.70 GHz, 11.80dB at 4.247 GHz and 24.90 dB at 5.108 GHz. E plane and H plane radiation pattern are shown.

Theoretical framework for physiological profiling using sensors and Big Data Analytics 使用传感器和大数据分析的生理分析理论框架

In today's world, everybody has limited time and generally do rash driving to reach at destination. So intentionally or unintentionally many crashes occurred and generally get mentally upset which leads to more crime or health disturbance. Due to work pressure and unavoidable environment, some changes in hormones have been occurred. This paper is based on analysis of physiological profile of drivers with the help of smart phone based application. Sensors will collect the real time in vehicle data which would be analyzed with the help of Big Data Analytics. Driver's behavior is affected by number of factors. This paper will discuss about that number of factors which affects the nature of a person. We examine an algorithm to check whether the behavior of driver is normal or abnormal. This will help the administration to analyze the chances of crashes or crimes that may occurred due to abnormal behavior and to some extent, things can be controlled.

This paper will discuss about that number of factors which affects the nature of a person. We examine an algorithm to check whether the behavior of driver is normal or abnormal. Handing of mobile and its applications are increasing every day and latest mobile stations carry both Wi-Fi and 3G interfaces. Due to increases the use of internet it should provide the continuous connectivity of internet without any interruption. However MPTCP maintain the two or more path simultaneously between client and server and give seamless connectivity without break and it is a transport layer protocol. In recent years plethora of researcher shows interests to work with MPTCP for seamless handover. We are using MPTCP technique for seamless handover while techniques which works on network layer does provide failure recovery capability. The objective of this paper is to provide seamless handover between two heterogeneous networks. In addition to we performed the several experiments and analyse the performance of MPTCP and regular TCP using different bandwidth sub-flows (Ethernet and Wi-Fi) and same bandwidth sub-flows and compare this to the previous works that how bandwidth affect the performance of MPTCP and TCP. According to this we proposed an algorithm for seamless handover which reduce the limitation of previous works and increase the performance such as throughput during seamless handover. We implemented this experiment on real equipments routers, controllers, and switches and also used the Mininet.

Comparative study of Single Gate And Double Gate Fully Depleted Silicon on Insulator MOSFET 单极与双极全贫硅在绝缘体MOSFET上的比较研究

In this paper, a comparison between Single Gate Fully Depleted SOI (SGSOI) and Double Gate Fully Depleted SOI (DGSOI) MOSFET with Si3N4 Spacer (insulator) around the Gate electrode at various different technology nodes are investigated. Simulations are done in ATLAS package of SIVACO tool. Further in this work, study of SON Devices (structure with air in place of buried oxide is termed as Silicon on Nothing (SON) are carried out. Simulation of Different values of Drive Current (Ion), Leakage Current (Ioff) and Transfer Characteristics (Id/Vg) are analysed in addition to compare and get a suitable conclusion of this study. For comparing the suppressed values of Short Channel Effects, Drain Induced Barrier Lowering (DIBL) with these different structuresarecalculated. All the structures are simulated for Single Gate as well as Double Gate in nanometerregime. Comparative results are given on the basis of the simulated results received by the double gate structure with Vertical Source and Drain (SD). Effect of Channel length reduction on its transfer characteristics and short channel effects are also studied. It has been found that SON structure shows larger threshold voltage value but small drive current as compare to SOI structures. Hence due to its low leakage current, it seems to be better for low power applications. Double gate SOI structure showsa sufficient drive current and less leakage current as compare to single gate SOI. For analysing the performance of the devices, Shockley-Read-Hall (SRH) Recombination, Radiative, Auger, and Surface Recombination models are deployed.
