Our main objective is to study the effect of diuretic Paishi mixture on renal calculus after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and its effect on renal function and urinary N-acetyl-beta-d-glucosaminidase, beta-2 microglobulin, cystatin C levels. A total of 150 patients with kidney stones undergoing extracorporeal shock wave surgery were randomly divided into research group and control group with 75 subjects in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with routine methods such as anti-infection, pain relief and hemostasis after operation, while the research group was treated with diuretic and stone-dispelling mixture on the basis of the control group. The medication cycle is 7 d. The treatment effects, symptom scores, average time for residual stone removal, renal function-related indicators, urine N-acetyl-beta-d-glucosaminidase, beta-2 microglobulin, cystatin C levels, inflammatory factor levels and the proportion of analgesic drugs were compared between the two groups. The drug effect of the study group was better than that of the control group (p<0.05), the symptom score, average time of residual stone excretion, levels of renal function indicators, blood creatinine and blood urea nitrogen in the study group were lower than those of the control group (p<0.05). The levels of urinary N-acetyl-beta-d-glucosaminidase, beta-2 microglobulin and cystatin C in the study group were better than those in the control group (p<0.05). The indicators of inflammatory factors and usage rate of analgesic drugs in the study group were lower than those in the control group (p<0.05). Diuretic and stone removal mixture can significantly improve the postoperative effect of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, shorten the time of stone removal, increase the levels of renal function, urinary N-acetyl-beta-dglucosaminidase, beta-2 microglobulin, cystatin C, etc., improve the level of inflammatory factors and reduce the usage rate of analgesic drugs.

We attempt to explore and study the effect of alendronate sodium combined with alpha-calciferol on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with osteoporosis treatment and the changes of serum receptor activator for nuclear factor kappa B ligand and osteoprotegerin levels. We randomly selected 56 patients in the hospital from December 2021 to December 2022 as the study subjects. According to the time of admission, we divided them into two parts. 28 patients were given routine treatment as the control group and the other 28 patients were given alendronate sodium combined with alpha-calciferol as the observation group. Evaluate and compare both groups on the clinical efficacy rate and measure the serum receptor activator for nuclear factor kappa B ligand level and osteoprotegerin level after taking the fasting venous blood of the patients. The adverse reactions occurred during the treatment were counted and adverse reactions rate was calculated. The results showed that observation group had higher clinical control ratio and effective ratio than control group. In addition, observation group possessed higher clinical efficacy efficiency value of the patients than control group and the improvement was more obvious (p<0.05). In terms of serum level results, observation group had better data values of patients than control group. The serum receptor activator for nuclear factor kappa B ligand level, osteoprotegerin level, forced vital capacity 1 level and forced vital capacity 1/forced vital capacity values of patients in observation group were significantly improved than those in control group (p<0.05). In terms of adverse reaction evaluation, observation group during treatment had lower adverse reactions rate than control group (p<0.05). Alendronate sodium combined with alpha-calciferol can improve the clinical efficacy of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and osteoporosis patients to a certain extent, and have a better effect on serum receptor activator for nuclear factor kappa B ligand, osteoprotegerin level and lung function.

Acute glufosinate ammonium poisoning can cause neurological complications and respiratory failure, which are usually delayed and difficult to predict. Serum ammonia level might be an indicator of severe glufosinate poisoning, but it has not been confirmed. We aimed to investigate the potential predictors of respiratory failure after glufosinate poisoning. We conducted a retrospective review of 21 cases of glufosinate poisoning between 2010 and 2019. Patients were assigned to intubated due to respiratory failure and non-intubated groups. The following characteristics were compared between these two groups; age, sex and period from poisoning to hospital arrival, vital signs, Glasgow coma scale, laboratory parameters and electrocardiogram measurements. Furthermore, the outcomes of morbidity and mortality were analyzed. Totally, 12 cases were be intubated and the other 9 were not intubated.
