Abstract: In recent years, with the accelerated process of urbanization, the continuous growth of urban areas and population sizes has posed higher demands on urban earthquake safety. The theory of resilient cities offers a new approach to effectively address urban earthquake safety risks. However, there is still a lack of reasonable methods for assessing and constructing urban seismic resilience both domestically and internationally. Therefore, this paper elucidates the connotation, essential characteristics, components, and evaluation indicators of a seismic-resilient city, summarizing the components of urban seismic resilience as "one fundamental, two guarantees," which include the engineering system, institutional system, and social and economic system. This paper establishes a dual-parameter urban seismic resilience assessment method based on post-earthquake losses and recovery time, proposing a "set goals, assess, improve, reassess" approach for building resilient cities. The proposed method can provide theoretical guidance and practical basis for assessing and enhancing the seismic resilience of individual infrastructures, engineering systems, urban systems, and resilience to other disasters.

Abstract: The thyroid is very important because it helps our body function properly. It does this by secreting special hormones into our bloodstream that control how our body uses energy. Sometimes there may be problems with the thyroid gland secreting too much or too little hormone. This is because not having enough iodine, swelling of the tumor, or the body's immune system attacking the tumor. Doctors can diagnose these problems with blood tests, but sometimes the results may be confusing. Using special technology, doctors can make information easier to understand and detect how a person may have thyroid problems. This analysis includes analysis of the distribution pattern of thyroid disease and data based on the UCI Machine Learning Repository. Detection of thyroid diseases involves machine learning, which plays an vital role in detecting thyroid disease. Using this technique, doctors can better understand and treat thyroid problems.

Abstract: The overprescription of antibiotics is a significant public health issue, contributing to the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. This study evaluates the effectiveness of Electronic Health Record (HER) alerts in reducing inappropriate antibiotic prescriptions. Conducted in a large urban hospital, the intervention involved developing and implementing HER alerts to prompt clinicians when an antibiotic prescription may be inappropriate. Over a six-month period, we monitored antibiotic prescription patterns, comparing data from the three months prior to the intervention (control period) with the three months post-implementation (intervention period). Data from 500 patient encounters were analysed, with 250 encounters in each period. The primary outcome was the rate of inappropriate antibiotic prescriptions, defined according to established clinical guidelines. During the control period, 45% (113/250) of the prescriptions were deemed inappropriate.

Abstract: The Jhelum originates in the Indian-administered part of the Kashmir region, in western Jammu and Kashmir union territory, in Vernag, from a deep spring. The river flows through the Vale of Kashmir and meanders northwest from the northern slope of the Pir Panjal Range to Wular Lake in Srinagar, which regulates its flow. The Jhelum emerges from the lake and flows west, forming a valley with nearly perpendicular sides that passes the Pir Panjal at a depth of around 7,000 feet (2,100 meters). The Jhelum meets the Kishanganga River near Muzaffarabad, the administrative hub of Azad Kashmir in the Pakistani-administered region of Kashmir. From there, it bends southward, forming a portion of the border between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, to the west, and Azad Kashmir to the east

Abstract: Wireless technology has advanced significantly since its origin and is now an essential aspect of our daily life. The advancement of wireless communication from the first generation (1G) to the fifth generation (5G) of technology has been revolutionary. An extensive summary of the development of wireless communication from 1G to 5G has been given in this paper. Cellular networks are heading towards becoming more diverse, broadband, integrated, and intelligent networks with the introduction of 5G networks. The goals of 5G wireless technology are to provide more users with more consistent user experiences, ultralow latency, vast network capacity, faster multi-Gbps peak data speeds and increased reliability. While the resources needed for computation and communication are also growing with the maturity of 5G technology .At the same time, cellular traffic has increased dramatically due to the widespread use of smart devices. Cellular traffic prediction is a crucial component of the resource management system for cellular networks but it confronts many difficulties due to strict standards for accuracy and dependability. Among the most important issues is how to enhance the predictive performance of Mobile data traffic. This review describes the need of traffic forecasting in cellular network in 5G technology. A study of different models for network analysis and traffic prediction by different researchers is presented in this paper. The distinctiveness and guidelines of earlier research for traffic prediction in 5G are examined. To determine the distinctive qualities of each method used for traffic prediction in mobile network, a thorough analysis of the most popular techniques using Machine learning for predictive analysis are discussed.

Abstract: Solar water heaters are an efficient and sustainable technology for meeting the growing demand for hot water in residential and commercial applications. This abstract presents a comprehensive overview of the performance evaluation of solar water heater systems through an extensive experimental study. The study aims to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of different solar water heater configurations under varying operating conditions. The experimental investigation involved the measurement and analysis of key performance parameters such as solar collector efficiency, heat transfer efficiency, thermal storage capacity, and overall system efficiency. A range of factors including solar radiation intensity, ambient temperature, water flow rate, and collector tilt angle were systematically varied to examine their impact on system performance. The results of the experimental study demonstrated the significant potential of solar water heaters in providing cost-effective and environmentally friendly hot water solutions. The solar collector efficiency was found to be highly influenced by the solar radiation intensity, with higher levels of solar irradiation leading to increased thermal energy generation. The heat transfer efficiency was optimized by adjusting the water flow rate and collector tilt angle, ensuring efficient transfer of heat from the collector to the water. Furthermore, the thermal storage capacity of the system played a crucial role in maintaining a consistent supply of hot water during periods of low solar radiation or high demand. Overall system efficiency was found to be strongly dependent on the integration of efficient heat exchangers and insulation materials. Based on the experimental findings, recommendations for system design and optimization were formulated, highlighting the importance of proper sizing, selection of suitable materials, and appropriate control strategies. The results also identified areas for future research, such as the integration of advanced heat transfer enhancement techniques and the utilization of hybrid solar water heater systems

Abstract: The interference phenomenon, which is usually brought about by the superimposition of electromagnetic waves, is employed by a collection of techniques collectively referred to as interferometry to gather data.[1] Interferometry is a helpful investigative tool in a number of fields, including astronomy, fibre optics, engineering metrology, optical metrology, oceanography, seismology, quantum mechanics, nuclear and particle physics, plasma physics, remote sensing, biomolecular interactions, surface profiling, microfluidics, mechanical stress/strain measurement, velocimetry, and optometry.[18]. Recently, they have even been able to identify almost undetectable gravitational wave motions [20]. Light interference has many real-world applications, particularly in the photonics and optics domains. Examples include holography, spectroscopy, laser interferometry, and optical coatings. It is also utilised in the areas of metrology, telecommunications, and microscopy [21].
