Effect of phosphorus enriched organic manures on p-uptake and p-availability to onion crop in Vertisol 富磷有机肥对Vertisol中洋葱作物磷吸收和磷有效性的影响

The experiment was conducted in Kalaburagi district, which belongs to North Eastern Dry Zone (Zone-2) of Karnataka state. The experiment was laid out in split-plot design with three main plot treatments viz., control (0 Kg P2O5 ha-1), 50 per cent of recommended dose of P (30 Kg P2O5 ha-1) and 100 per cent of recommended dose of P (75 Kg P2O5 ha-1) and seven sub-plot treatments viz., no organic manure, farmyard manure @ 12 t per ha-1, vermicompost @ 6 t per ha-1, poultry manure @ 6 t per ha-1, P enriched farmyard manure @ 6 t per ha-1, P enriched vermicompost @ 3 t per ha-1 and P-enriched poultry manure @ 3 t per ha-1. Application of P-enriched organic manures at different levels of P-fertilizers had significantly increased the P-uptake of onion crop. Among different P-enriched organic manures, poultry manure gave highest uptake and available status of phosphorus.

Effect of integrated nutrient management on growth and yield of summer maize (Zea mays) 综合营养管理对夏玉米生长和产量的影响

A field experiment was carried out at Instructional Cum-Research Farm (ICR) of Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat during the year 2019 to find out the effect of INM practices to growth and yield of summer maize. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with nine treatments and replicated thrice. The soil of the experimental site was sandy loam in texture, acidic in reaction, medium in organic carbon (0.72), low in available N (156.19 kg/ha) and medium in available P2O5 (23.78 kg/ha) and K2O (161.50 kg/ha). The maize seed of the variety VMH-53 was sown on 15th of March (2019) and harvested by two pickings on 10th June and 15th June. Experimental findings revealed that growth attributing characters like plant height, number of leaves per plant, leaf area index as well as various yield attributing characters viz., weight of cob with and without husk, length of cob, number of rows/cob, grains/row, grains/cob, 1000 grain weight, weight of grain per cob was recorded highest under the treatment T3 containing 100% RDF + Azospirillum + PSB + 2 sprays of vermiwash at 25 & 40 DAS which was at par with 75% RDF + 25% of N replaced by vermicompost + Azospirillum + PSB + 2 sprays of vermiwash at 25 & 40 DAS. The highest grain and stover yield being 43.04 q/ha and 89.66 q/ha respectively was produced from RDF + Azospirillum + PSB + 2 sprays of vermiwash at 25 & 40 DAS (T3) which was at par with the grain yield 41.81 q/ha and stover yield 87.42 q/ha obtained from 75% N of RDF + 25% of N replaced by vermicompost + Azospirillum + PSB + 2 sprays of vermiwash at 25&40 DAS (T6).

Efficacy of various herbicide combinations on yield, its attributes and economics of transplanted rice in Indo Gangetic plain zone (Oryza sativa L.) 不同除草剂组合对印度河平原区插秧水稻产量、性状及经济性的影响

A field experiment was conducted at Agronomy Research Farm, A.N.D. University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad during the Kharif season of 2017-18. The experiment was conducted with Randomized Block Design and replicated three times and comprised with twelve treatments. The herbicides were used individually as well as in combinations viz. Butachlor, Pretilachlor, Bispyribac-Na and Almix. Total weed population and its dry weight, weed index were lowest with Pretilachlor @ 750 g a.i. ha-1 (PE) fb Bispyribac-Na @ 25 g a.i. ha-1 (POE). However, highest weed control efficiency was recorded with Pretilachlor @ 750 g a.i. ha-1 (PE) fb Bispyribac-Na @ 25 g a.i. ha-1 (POE). The growth parameters and yields increased significantly with Pretilachlor @ 750 g a.i. ha-1 (PE) fb Bispyribac-Na @ 25 g a.i. ha-1 (POE) over rest of the treatments. Yield and yield attributes like number of effective shoots m-2, length of panicle (cm), number of grain panicle-1, test weight (g), Grain yield q ha-1), and harvest index were significantly higher with Pretilachlor @ 750 g a.i. ha-1 (PE) fb Bispyribac-Na @ 25 g a.i. ha-1 (POE). Weed free upto 60th DAT gave the maximum gross returns (Rs. 94452 ha-1), however, Net returns (60729.00 Rs. ha-1) and maximum B:C ratio (1.84) recorded with Pretilachlor @ 750 g a.i. ha-1 (PE) fb Bispyribac-Na @ 25 g a.i. ha-1 (POE).

Yield performance of Niger and their improved variety in Mandla district under northern hill of Chhattisgarh zone of Madhya Pradesh 尼日尔及其改良品种在中央邦恰蒂斯加尔邦北部丘陵曼德拉地区的产量表现

An On Farm Testing (OFT) trial was carried out to compare the yield performance of niger variety at farmers’ field in Mandla district (Northern Hill of Chhattisgarh Zone), Madhya Pradesh, India during Kharif season 2015 and 2016. All the improved package and practices (IP) was applied with improved Niger variety (JNS-9) while local farmer’s variety was as it is with their existing farmers’ practices (FP). The results revealed that the average seed yield was 856.50 kg/ha in IP while it was 389.00 kg/ha in FP. The average seed yield was increased by 120.26% in the IP over the FP. The average extension gap was recorded 467.50 kg/ha over the FP. The average technology gap in IP of Niger over the FP was recorded 143.50 kg/ha whereas, average technology index was 14.35%. The average cost of cultivation under IP was Rs.7840.00/ha with net return of Rs. 26420.00/ha and B:C ratio 3.37 while it was Rs. 5586.00/ha with net return Rs. 9974.00/ha and B:C ratio 1.80 under FP. On an average Rs. 16446/ha was recorded as additional income which significantly attributed due to the adoption of recommended package and practices including improved Niger variety.

The present investigation was carried with aim to know the effect of integrated nutrient management on fruiting of aonla cv. Francis. The experiment was conducted in two consecutive years. The experiment comprised of ten treatments, replicated thrice with randomized block Design. The study revealed the fruit set and retention per cent for both the year was noted maximum with the use of T7, whereas T6 was found to equally good with T1. The maximum fruit size was recorded with the use of T7 during both the year which was at par with the soil application T6. The study concluded that the application of 75% RDF + 30 kg Vermicompost + 250g Azotobacter + 250g PSB produced quality fruit yield.

Francis. The experiment was conducted in two consecutive years. The experiment comprised of ten treatments, replicated thrice with randomized block Design. The study revealed the fruit set and retention per cent for both the year was noted maximum with the use of T7, whereas T6 was found to equally good with T1. The maximum fruit size was recorded with the use of T7 during both the year which was at par with the soil application T6. Evaluation of chickpea genotypes for heat stress under elevated temperature 鹰嘴豆基因型对高温胁迫的评价

An experiment was conducted to study the short time exposure of high temperature during flowering period to six chickpea genotypes. Chickpea plants were exposed to high temperature (34.37/15.10 oC) and control (30.90/13.50 oC) for 10 days at flowering stage. High temperature stress significantly decreased pollen fertility percentage (21.12%) and pollen germination percentage (45.77%) compared to optimum temperature or control (53.45% and 66.04%) respectively. High temperature also significantly reduces the plant height (24.97cm), total dry matter (8.277 g plant-1) compared to control (28.05 cm and 14.55 g plant-1) respectively whereas, high temperature stress significantly increased the antioxidant enzymes such as peroxidase (0.788 µmoles min-1mg-1 of protein) and superoxidase dismutase (67.28 U/mg protein) enzyme activity compared to control (0.442 µmoles min-1mg-1 of protein and 34.85 U/mg protein), respectively.

Screening of genotypes against alternaria blight in rapeseed and mustard 油菜和芥菜抗疫病基因型筛选

The field experiments were conducted at Student’s Instruction Form, ANDUA&T, Kumarganj Ayodhya. The climate is hot and humid summer and cold winters, during the rabi crop season in the year 2017-18. One hundred genotypes of Rapeseed-mustard were used for the present investigation. The earliest appearance of disease (30 days) was noted in genotypes RAURD-09-32, RM-WR-09-5, PAB-09-07, PRB-2004-3-4, RGN-307, RH-0834, RH-0902, RH-0952, RH-0903, RHH-1101, YSWB- 2012/9 (44 days) PPBJ-2, RAURD-09-78, and (45 days) PPBN-3, PT-2006-4 and lowest disease severity was recorded genotypes PHR-2, (9.5) PAB- 2004-4 (20.5) PPBJ-2 (22.2), PPBN-3 (22.3) PPBN-2 (22.6) PPBJ-5 (23.3), PPBJ-3 (24.3), PPBJ-4 (24.5) PAB-2005-16 (24.5), RRM-789, (43.6), RH-0555A, (43.7). AUDPC showed more susceptible genotypes the lowest PHR-2 (214.5) was recorded and genotypes screened, none of the genotypes were found disease -free or highly resistance, only 1 genotype namely (PHR-2) were found resistance, 8 genotypes namely (PPBN-2, PPBN-3, PPBJ-3, PPBJ-2, PPBJ-5, PPBJ-4, PAB-2005-16, PAB- 2004-4), were rated as moderated resistance, 37 moderated susceptible and 54 as susceptible.
