I write this with both a sense of urgency as well as some satisfaction: urgency because the situation in India continues to be serious. We therefore must move urgently to reduce as much of the pressure that Indian doctors, hospitals, health care agencies and related government agencies are facing. The country is almost fully under lockdown, and therefore even delivering essential medical equipment takes a lot of planning, getting permissions, and finding courageous volunteers to deliver them.

Comparative Analysis onVSI and CSI based Solar Photovoltaic Source Fed BLDC Motor Drive with Boost Converter for Water Pumping System 水泵系统中基于vsi和CSI的太阳能光伏源无刷直流电机驱动与升压变换器的比较分析

In this paper, analysis of solar power fed Brushless DC motor (BLDC) motor drive with a boost converter ispresented for water pumping application in irrigation system. Nowa days, the usage of renewable PV sourceis increasing gradually, due to the encouragement of eco-friendly energy sources by providing subsidies forthe installation in the initial states. In the agricultural sector, the water pump system requires a 3-ϕ powersupply, for that we need a separate transmission line and transformers to meet the load demand. In thispaper, a solar power fed BLDC motor water pumping system with boost converter and Voltage sourceInverter (VSI) is presented which reduces the converter switch stress by increasing the voltage transfer gainratio. VSI needs a huge dc link capacitor that is inherently unreliable and is one of the most expensivecomponents of a drive.A MPPT controller is required to extract maximum power from the high penetratingrenewable PV source and also proposes the Current source inverter (CSI) fed water pumping system isdeveloped and examine with same operating conditions. A comparative analysis view in existing method ofsystem replace the VSI with CSI. The performance of system is analyzed with speed settling times at sameoperating conditions. The proposed work is carried out in the MATLAB/Simulinksoftware. A comparativeanalysis is also presented in lucid manner

Ultraviolet Protection Activity of Selected Herbal and Biopolymer for Textile Application 纺织用中草药和生物高聚物的紫外线防护活性

The textile protection of human skin against ultraviolet radiation is very important problem and over recentyears researches have shown increasing interests in this area. This research work deals with the causingharm effects of ultraviolet rays and protection against them through the woven materials by using Opuntialittoralis herbal extract and Chitosan biopolymer extract with nano encapsulation method. Finishing of fabricwith an eco friendly manner is getting very advanced nowadays. So, this research work is fully based onecofriendly and skin friendly. The samples were imparted with herb and biopolymer nanocapsules whichshowed best results for ultraviolet protection even after 30 washes.The finished sample was analyzed for itsmorphology using FESEM and FT-IR.

Power Quality Enhancement of Grid-Connected Solar Photovoltaic System using ANN based Filter 基于神经网络滤波的并网太阳能光伏系统电能质量增强

Grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems are increasingly attracting the attention of industry andacademia as a means of providing an alternative to conventional fossil-fuel generation and pollution-freepower. This project aims to improve the power quality level of a grid-tied PV distribution system using shuntactive power filter (APF) along with adaptive current control technique.In this work Artificial Neural Network controller used to destroy the voltage and current harmonics in agrid-tied PV system. A reference current generation strategy is implemented to mitigate the current harmonicsby extracting the fundamental constituents (FCs) from the nonlinear load currents. MCCF is employed toseparate the FC from the distorted grid voltages and eliminates the voltage harmonics during extremelypolluted grid voltage condition. The comparative analysis is analyzed to check the effectiveness of theproposed hybrid control scheme with existing and adaptive control techniques in respect of power quality,better dc offset rejection, better FC and frequency extraction, and grid synchronization.

The high step up dc-dc converter with a quadratic boost converter with voltage multiplier cell (VM) toachieve a high voltage gain in the continuous conduction mode (CCM). To increase higher voltage gain, lowervoltage stress on diodes and capacitors and requiring smaller inductors with reduced number of components.Quadratic Boost DC-DC converters are mainly used in applications like HEVs and EVs vehicles. The purposeof boost converter is to charge a low-voltage (12 V) battery during boost mode and to assist the high-voltage200V battery. In this implementation, closed-loop control in high voltage side is implemented using PI(proportional integral) controller

As an environmental friendly vehicle, the increasing number of electrical vehicles (EVs) leads to apressing need of widely distributed charging stations, especially due to the limited on-board batterycapacity. However, fast charging stations, especially super-fast charging stations may stress power gridwith potential overload at peaking time, sudden power gap and voltage sag. This project discusses theimplementation and modeling of space vector modulation to multiport converter based EV charging stationintegrated with PV power generation, and battery energy storage system. In this paper, the control schemeand combination of PV power generation, EV charging station, and battery energy storage (BES) providesimproved stabilization including power gap balancing, peak shaving and valley filling, and voltage sagcompensation. As a result, the influence on power grid is reduced due to the matching between dailycharging demand and adequate daytime PV generation. Simulation results are presented to confirm thebenefits at different modes of this proposed multiport EV charging circuits with the PV-BES configuration withSVM technique. Furthermore, SiC devices are employed to the EV charging station to further improve theefficiency.

In construction world concrete plays a vital role, around 60% of structure consists of Concrete. However,the production of Portland cement, an essential constituent of concrete, leads to the release of significantamounts of CO2, depletion of natural resources and environmental degradation. This paper investigates thecompressive strength of concrete by replacing cement with GGBS and silica fume effect of glass fibers onperformance of concrete is studied. In this present work a humble attempt had been made to evaluate andcompare the compressive strengths of GGBS blended concrete cubes with controlled concrete cubes curedunder sea water for 28 days. By conducting the tests on the cubes, conclusions were drawn after plottingand analyzing the results. Compressive strength test is conducted on the samples after 28 days. Theoptimum value is obtained at 15% replacement with GGBS and 5% with Silica fume. In this study again wetrailed addition with Glass fibers with the percentage of 0.5%,1.0%,1.5%, compressive strength have beenstudied. Finally at 1.0% addition we get maximum strength compared to controlled mix.

Research paper recommenders emerged over the last decade to ease finding publications relating toresearchers’ area of interest. The challenge was not just to provide researchers with very rich publications atany time, any place and in any form but to also offer the right publication to the right researcher in the rightway. Several approaches exist in handling paper recommender systems. However, these approachesassumed the availability of the whole contents of the recommending papers to be freely accessible, which isnot always true due to factors such as copyright restrictions. This paper presents a collaborative approach forresearch paper recommender system. By leveraging the advantages of collab- orative filtering approach, weutilize the publicly available contextual metadata to infer the hidden associations that exist betweenresearch papers in order to personalize recommen- dations. The novelty of our proposed approach is that itprovides personalized recommen- dations regardless of the research field and regardless of the user’sexpertise. Using a publicly available dataset, our proposed approach has recorded a significant improvementover other baseline methods in measuring both the overall performance and the ability to return relevant anduseful publications at the top of the recommendation list.
