A new nonlinear identification method of the platinum resistance sensor based on radial basis function neural network using a improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed to settle its nonlinear problem. The particle swarm optimization algorithm is improved by introducing the shrinkage factor and the particle variation factor. The function of the particle fitness is achieved based on the distance between the actual neural network output values and the expected output values. Decode the global optimum value in the swarm searching space as the initial value of network parameters. The simulation shows that the new nonlinear identification has better nonlinear identification accuracy and stability. It is proved that the method is effective and feasible.

In this paper we present an algorithm for real-time simulating vehicle shell collision and deformation. The algorithm is based on the optimized iteration of velocity and impulse when a car collision occurs, which needs to compute a small amount of data for real-time simulation. We analyze the efficiency of real-time deformation with the time ratio for virtual world and real world. This simulative method could be applied to the field of driving simulation, game and movie industry. It can be even further extended to support the real-time simulation of plastic deformation.

This paper proposed a new heat flux coupled combustion model of sandwich propellant, a modified 37 species and 127 reactions kinetics mechanism was utilized to describe combustion flame in gas phase; a simple arrhenius pyrolyis law was used to calculate mass flux of oxidizer and binder constitute, initial species fraction released from burning surface was determined by experimental data, an “equivalent source term method” was applied to describe surface decomposition via pyrolysis relations; steady heat conduction equation was solved in inert solid phase. This model adopted full-coupled way of heat flux to determine temperature of burning surface and burning rate, then 2-D heat conduction behavior in solid phase was considered. Numerical studies have been conducted on 2-D AP(ammonium perchlorate)/HTPB(hydroxylterminated polybutadiene) sandwich models, and the flame structure, the temperature and temperature gradient along burning surface, and burning rate characteristics were discussed.

In this paper, An improved adaptive inverse control strategy is presented for induction motors drive system. The reference signal and the disturbance signal are controlled, which can achieve optimal effect in the meantime. Applying adaptive LMS algorithm based on variable step and variable region to variable frequency speed regulation system, the initial convergence rate, tricking ability of time-varying system and stable precision are best. Computer simulation results and the outcomes of real-time experiment are included in the paper to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Studies using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) have revealed that various number-processing tasks activate a fronto-parietal network in educated adults. However, it is uncertain how a person's number processing system might be affected by their level of mathematical proficiency. We used fMRI to investigate whether Boolean calculation abilities arise from more basic number processing. The results revealed that solving Boolean calculation tasks activated a left-lateralized cortical network that included the left medial frontal gyrus, superior frontal gyrus, inferior frontal gyrus, inferior parietal lobule, postcentral gyrus, and superior parietal lobule. Other simultaneously activated regions included the right medial frontal gyrus, and superior frontal gyrus. Our results indicate that Boolean calculation evokes fMRI activity patterns overlapping with the cortical network previously reported to underlie number processing.

There exist bigger error of fault model and few examining data in traction power supply system. A novel way to model fault for few data is advanced, its parameter is estimated by maximum likelihood criterion and the model is optimized via least square law. The model solves effectively the problem that modeling few data in traction power supply system relies big swatch theory, and the model of fault data of the contact net in railway is built. By fitting result, it is proved that the precision of fitting data is bigger improved.

Location-based services are widely used in the Internet services. The method of location cloaking is used to effectively protect the user's location privacy. The current cloaking algorithm does not take into account the regional characteristics, such as population density, popularity level and so on, based on which an attacker can often infer user's exact location from their cloaking area. In this paper, we design two cloaking algorithms based on regional characteristics in terms of two different attacking patterns: the Minimum Exposure Risk Cloaking Algorithm and the Maximum Entropy Cloaking Algorithm. Simulation results show that both the two cloaking algorithms can effectively secure the user's privacy.

PIC chip refers to the one that has several functional devices based on the same substrate material, which has strong adaptability to environmental factors, such as vibration and temperature. The application of PIC chip in the node and terminal equipment of the optical communication can greatly enhance the equipment's ratio of performance over the price and reduce the volume. In this paper a three-dimension time domain method is employed as simulation instrument to design the strip EAM with a ring resonator on InP/InGaAsP-MQW, and the chip is produced by applying domestically advanced semi-conductor epitaxial growth and etching techniques, and it has passed the static test, which shows that the modulator has obvious electric absorption effects and the filtering peak of the resonator changes with the variation of offset voltage.

This paper presents a new current-mode precision rectifier using CMOS technology. The system comprises a current comparator, current mirrors and diodes that can realize either a half-wave rectifier or a full-wave rectifier into a single system by appropriately adjusting the current gain of a current mirror. The proposed circuit offers low-voltage supply, low-power dissipation and wide bandwidth. The simulation results can be confirmed the operation and performance of the proposed rectifier.
