While the prevalence of impacted maxillary canines is 0.9–2.2%, but mandibular canine impaction occurs less frequently. Failing to monitor and promptly address impacted canines may lead to various complications, including the displacement of nearby teeth, loss of vitality in neighboring teeth, dental arch shortening, follicular cysts, canine ankylosis, recurring infections, recurring pain, internal resorption of the canine and adjacent teeth, external resorption of the canine and adjacent teeth, or a combination of these issues. To prevent such undesirable effects, it is crucial to make a timely and accurate diagnosis, conduct precise predictive analysis, and intervene early. The present case report discusses the diagnosis and treatment plan of a 16-year-old female presenting with an impacted canine on her mandibular right side.Key words: canine impaction, unilateral, lower arch, surgical exposure, closed eruption technique

The fascial system represents a sophisticated and intricate network within the human body, comprising both superficial and deep layers. Fascial dysfunction is usually related to musculoskeletal pain, but may also be involved in other vague pain syndromes, such as irritable bowel syndrome. Glucopuncture, as applied in this case, involves the administration of 5% dextrose (or 5% glucose) injections directly into the superficial fascia, to address vague pain syndromes. This article presents a patient who underwent glucopuncture for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. Patients who complain about vague abdominal pain typically visit their family physician without a well-defined diagnosis. This case highlights the potential of patient-guided glucopuncture as a simple, cost-effective method for modulating abdominal pain caused by superficial fascial dysfunction. However, further research is necessary to fully ascertain the efficacy, mode of action and safety of glucopuncture for treating vague abdominal pain related to fascial dysfunction.Key words: Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Fascia, Glucopuncture, Regional Pain Syndrome

Homoeopathy shows promise in managing Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) through individualized treatment based on symptom similarity. By utilizing repertorization, practitioners select specific remedies that match the patient's unique symptoms. This personalized approach can lead to significant improvements. The efficacy of homeopathic treatment for GAD has been evaluated using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), a widely recognized tool for measuring the severity of anxiety symptoms. Clinical observations suggest that patients experience notable reductions in anxiety levels following homeopathic treatment. The holistic nature of homeopathy, which considers physical, emotional, and psychological aspects, aligns well with the complex presentation of GAD, offering a complementary option to conventional treatments.Key words: Homoeopathy, Anxiety, Hamilton scale, Individualization

INTRODUCTION - The misdirection of diagnosis due to the initial critical condition and unknown interventions complicated the identification of anterior uveitis, which was masked by corneal abrasion. Delayed treatment poses a threat to the eye. This case report highlights the clinical significance, common causes, and importance of timely treatment for anterior uveitis.CASE REPORT - A 45-year-old female (reg. no PUKA 4303341) visited Dr Sushila Tewari Hospital on 17/02/2024, with redness and pain in her left eye. Before her visit, a non-medical person in her village had scraped her cornea with a safety pin head for the removal of a vegetative foreign body, instead of the treatment of anterior uveitis. So, initially treated for corneal abrasions, signs of iridocyclitis became evident as the cornea began to heal on the second day.CONCLUSION - Timely medical consultation is essential for addressing ocular issues and preserving vision. Lack of education and awareness contribute to such critical incidents. Understanding the aetiology, pathophysiology, and management of anterior uveitis is crucial for preventing complications.Key words: corneal aberration, keratitis, visual acuity, immunity, anterior uveitis, antibiotic, mydriatic and steroid.

Breast cancer in men is a rare condition, accounting for an estimated 0.5-1% of all breast cancer cases. Recent data indicate a slight increase in incidence, although epidemiological information on male breast cancer remains scarce compared to its female counterpart due to its rarity. Typically, this type of cancer is observed in elderly men, often in their 60s or 70s. Men with breast cancer tend to be diagnosed at advanced stages, which generally leads to poorer outcomes compared to female breast cancer (FBC).This study aims to comprehensively analyze the epidemiological factors and clinicopathological characteristics of male breast cancer patients.Key words: carcinoma breast, ductal invasive carcinoma, female carcinoma breast , male carcinoma breast

Introduction: Bawl fi’l Farāsh Ibtidayi (Primary Nocturnal enuresis) is a condition in which involuntary urination occurs while sleeping in the absence of organic disease. Nocturnal enuresis is the most common urologic complaint in paediatric patients, and it is defined as the involuntary loss of urine during sleep that occurs at least twice a week in children older than 5 years of age (or the developmental equivalent) for at least 3 months. In India the prevalence of Nocturnal enuresis ranges approximately from 7% to 12.6%. As per Unani concept the predominance of Ruṭūbat i.e. excessive moistness in children causes the disease. This leads to Istirkhā’-e-Adlaat badan including Aḍala al-Mathāna causing involuntary urination. Complaints: A seven-year-old child with chronic complain of nocturnal enuresis visited OPD of RRIUM Mumbai.Clinical Findings: on taking detailed history there is no history of congenital defect, family history of stress was positive.Intervention: Unani formulation Majun Masik-ul-Baul was prescribed with Majun Flasfa for the management of Bawl fi’l Farāsh IbtidayiOutcome: Patient got complete relief after 6 weeks of treatment without any complications. Details are given in the case report.Key words: Bawl fi’l Farās Ibtidayi h, Primary Nocturnal enuresis, Majun Flasfa, Majun Masik-ul-Baul

Background: Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a group of inherited red blood cell disorders and is a genetically transmitted autosomal recessive hemoglobinopathy that causes significant morbidity and mortality. Sickle cell anemia patients experience blood-related problems, which can be identified through clinical examination or family history. It is connected to episodes of severe illness and the development of organ damage. This causes illnesses that affect not only the organs but also the tissues, increasing the risk of infection and causing painful events such as anemia and tissue damage. Therefore, in order to combat this sickness, we must concentrate on this tribal community. So the aim of our study was to assess the Attitude, Knowledge, Practice and hospital facilities provided to patients with positive Sickle cell anemia status.Methodology: Total 226 Individuals with Positive sickle cell status who met inclusion and exclusion criteria were recruited in our study. After getting informed consent from participants, a Self structured questionnaire was filled by participants. Results: Descriptive statistics and frequency analysis was used to analyze the data. Majority of them 212 (93.8) had ever heard about sickle cell anaemia with the highest source of information was from Education (40.7%) followed by health care professionals (34.1%). More than half of the participants (85.4%) knew about signs and symptoms with fatigue (31.8%) and joint pain (20.8%) were the most common one. Majority of the respondents knew how SCD is diagnosed. 154 (68.1%) and 101 (44.7%) participants responded positively to their sickling status and premarital counseling respectively.
