The current article considers the use of channels in transferring measurement data frames in the network controlling the condition and movement of robotic complexes. Real-time mode is used to exclude measurement data frames according to the aging threshold. Analytical correlations are given for determination of exponentially conditional density of the probability distribution as well as frame transfer time distribution functions taking aging into account. The article contains an example of a real-time computer system with data aging. Analytical ratios are given for the aggregated channels when working in parallel mode. Transfer of frames of measurement data is carried out in parts taking into account the threshold of aging. The mode of simultaneous transfer of duplicated frames by subchannels for exponential time is considered. The continuation of the transfer process resumes when the first frame is received. The processing of the measurement data is done in switches of the Software Defined Network (SDN).

For resource constrained embedded devices security is often an afterthought during design time. As new applications and devices are developed, they are handling more and more sensitive information. It is imperative to come up with effective solutions that can be supported by these constrained systems. In this work we propose a solution to mitigate shared library function attacks by implementing a hardware root of trust from which to store and retrieve function pointers. We offer two system variations which provide designers with flexibility to choose a lighter or a more robust version. Our work renders GOT overwrite attacks ineffective since it isolates and protects shared library function pointers.

In this work, we propose a defense mechanism against an eavesdropper attack with the help of a spoofer node. The purpose of the legitimate transmitter is to send a confidential message without revealing it to the eavesdropper. The spoofer node aims at masking the transmission of the confidential message by emitting a falsifying signal. We define the probability of spoofing an eavesdropper as the spoofing probability and obtain the closed form expression in presence of fading channels. We also obtain the spoofing rate and the spoofing probability under a selected communication rate requirement for Alice and Bob.

In this paper, we explore methods of generating accurate, real-time household energy usage predictions and the practical use cases for this prediction data. The ability to perform real-time prediction and the usefulness of such predictions are recent developments as connected smart energy devices become increasingly prevalent. These devices not only gather relevant data to learn historic trends, but can also improve overall grid functionality through direct device responsiveness. Machine learning has not yet been widely explored as an approach for this type of non-aggregated prediction, but we demonstrate its effectiveness as a tool even for this highly noisy data relative to other baseline and statistical approaches, and how all these approaches can complement each other. These predictions are crucial for enabling smart grid systems to effectively communicate their needs to the grid, and for the grid to appropriately prepare for future demand.

This paper considers, proposes and describes possibilities and methods for design, implementation and usage of smart digital universal multifunctional terminal/portal devices in many practical applications. Using digital electronic technologies embedded in such devices it is possible to design and implement smart digital terminals/portals for very wide variety of purposes of teller/counter type operations, where such digital machines can replace human work. It is expected that this kind of digital devices will be in perspective widely used in all places where there is needed a certain form of teller/counter services. Such places are for example: banks, post offices, municipalities, companies providing services such as electricity and water distribution, hotels, schools, universities, parking places, theatres, cinemas, various types of transport, etc. Application of different types of such embedded smart digital universal devices enables increasing efficiency, speed and security and decreased costs for all such services. It gives many benefits and advantages to the providers and to the users of such services. Way of design and use of such digital devices and technologies to effectively increase functionality and efficiency of teller/counter services is proposed and described. It is also proposed and described one practically designed and implemented smart universal multifunctional digital terminal/portal device for banking purposes.

Natural Language Processing11Henceforth: NLP is an emerging research area in today's era. The NLP resources are quite useful when it comes to building a machine capable of translating between linguistic pairs – a solution that strives to resolve the language barrier problems. Based on this premise, we are focusing our research on feature identification from large text collections of Albanian language. ‘Rule-based’ or statistical Part-of-Speech22Henceforth: POS (POS) taggers are sought to be utilized that would either need considerable time for rule development or a sufficient amount of manually labelled data. In light of this, the impact of this research is based on exploring numerous cases that are conducive to progress and further development of this field. One of the goals of this paper is to conduct a systematic review study; to explore and analyze existing research that seek to target low resources language such as is the case of the Albanian language. According to prior observation of published research conducted since 2015, we are focusing our research on studies that have been published in areas that are relevant to Natural Language Processing. Based on considerable load of related research on this field, it is essential to conduct a review and provide an outline of the research situation as well as current developments in this specific but important field of research.

In complex, large-scale networks collecting immense amounts of data on diverse agents, it is more computationally intensive and time-consuming, and ultimately unrealistic to expect the centralized operator to solve for efficient resource allocation across a dynamic time-scale. Thus, we propose a bottom-up recursive algorithm based on decentralized decision-making, which is suitable for systems with excessive local uncertainty and large amounts of local data that needs to be processed. The algorithm is followed by a proof-of-concept illustrating an example with radial electricity distribution systems.

Information systems are one of the biggest crucial elements in today's education institutions. Nowadays, institutions are constantly under pressure to digitalize most of their processes. In order to improve information systems, or to have qualitative information systems, it is essential to have evaluation of application accordingly from users' perspective. This research offers an evaluation from user perspective of e-services dedicated to the education area. EMIS system was chosen as a case study. This system has been evaluated based on DeLone and McLean's information system success model. This paper is a quantitative study, and it uses all DeLone and McLean's variables to develop and validate measurement model of education information systems success, which has an impact specifically in the administrating process. The conclusions of this paper are that user has a weighty impact on improving information systems. Furthermore, application designers/developers should consider many factors when implementing an application that would be used by different categories of stakeholders.

There is a huge increase of the number of people that are using GitHub as a service for managing projects, sharing codes and providing open source solutions. The need for tools or applications for dealing with this service is also increased. Therefore, the initiative is to adapt to the trend by developing a web application MyGitIssues, which will differentiate from others with a good front-end, back-end and effectiveness in dealing with issues on GitHub. Consequently, the main idea of this paper is to give an overview of proposed MyGitIssues web application, which will be able to list issues from a specific GitHub repository. MyGitIssues application is supported by the possibilities of the new Web (Real time web) through WebSockets and WebHooks and presents a solution in simplifying the process of dealing and managing different repositories.
