Facts of Economics Curriculum and Teaching Method 经济学课程事实与教学方法

This is an Open Access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/ by/4.0) ABSTRACT Education is designed to produce existing knowledge in new minds and to make these minds more receptive and more capable of absorbing transforming, creating and using knowledge. However, the ability to understand is a scarce good but can be expanded by suitable training. There is a scheme of plugging the knowledge-gap in economics for university and college teachers better known as Refresher Course, fully funded by University Grants Commission. Every year almost twenty universities are assigned the work of refreshing the teachers in the courses of economics. Every teacher has to attend minimum four such refreshers. However, it is intrigue to note that content of refreshers courses in economics bypass the principles and emphasises topics on general economics. The obvious results of this strategy are no significant improvement in the knowledge of teachers in economics. It is to be noted that diffusion of knowledge can be accomplished through several roots. However, knowledge cannot be absorbed unless some knowledge is already possessed. Finally as our stock of knowledge expands it becomes necessary to communicate properly this knowledge. Unless there is improved efficiency in teaching, it may become increasingly difficult to free resources for the discovery of new knowledge.

Development of Gastroretentive Floating Tablets Quetiapine Fumarate 富马酸奎硫平胃保留浮片的研制

Materials which are used in making of effervescent Tablets are hydroxy-methylcellulose HPMC. For the buoyancy sodium bicarbonate is used. Initially for the selection of formulation Definitive screening design is used which allows to study the effect of large number of factors in relatively small experiment. The optimized formulation is tested for release rate, buoyancy, hardness, thickness, floating time, swelling study and release rate. These studies shows that optimized tablet remains in stomach for 24h and shows release rate of 91% which is very desirable.

A Study on Ad-Hoc on-Demand Distance Vector AODV Protocol Ad-Hoc按需距离矢量AODV协议研究

This is an Open Access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/ by/4.0) ABSTRACT AODV is a very simple, efficient, and effective routing protocol for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks which do not have fixed topology. This algorithm was motivated by the limited bandwidth that is available in the media that are used for wireless communications. It borrows most of the advantageous concepts from DSR and DSDV algorithms. The on demand route discovery and route maintenance from DSR and hop-by-hop routing, usage of node sequence numbers from DSDV make the algorithm cope up with topology and routing information. Obtaining the routes purely on-demand makes AODV a very useful and desired algorithm for MANETs.

It’s harmful effects have been discussed and documented in studies, statements and reports scientists of different backgrounds, geographical and disciplines. Yet statesmen whose primary duties they are to initiate and implement programmes to curb, at least, if not completely eliminate the harmful effects tend to be unconcerned, or at most playing lip service to the issue. Gas flaring in Nigeria with its harmful effects started in the 1950s when oil exploration began. Studies have shown that Nigeria is the world’s worst gas farer. It is estimated that about 2.5 billion cubic feet (about 70 percent) of the 3.5 billion cubic feet gas produced annually in Nigeria are wasted by flaring. Successive Nigerian governments have not made concerted efforts to stop gas flaring. How has gas flaring in Nigeria contributed to global warming/climate change? What would Nigerian government do to completely stop gas flaring and thus its attendant harmful effects? Addressing these questions is the major plunge of this paper.

Solar and Electric Powered Hybrid Vehicle 太阳能和电力混合动力汽车

The designing, construction and implementation of the Solar and Electric Powered Hybrid Vehicle (SEPHV) are expressed in this paper. The power supply of the SEPHV can be charged by the solar and normal AC power source too. In this system, the series combination of 12V six lead-acid batteries is used for the driving motor power supply (40~60V DC). The 50W six solar panels are used for charging each of batteries. The charge controller is designed to be the supply batteries with the minimum amount charge possible and to protect from overcharge by the solar panels as well as over discharge by the driving motor. In this SEPHV, wireless message display system is also designed by Arduino software. The weight of the car without load is 300kg. As the results, this SEPHV is capable of accommodating at least four persons (250kg) with an average speed of 57km/hr. By using this, we can be able to reduce the all kind pollutions and fuel economy.

This is an Open Access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/ by/4.0) ABSTRACT This paper is focused design calculation of 30 MVA, 11 kV, 50 Hz, two pole (nonsalient poles) synchronous generator that use in gas turbine power plant. The choices of specific loadings are magnetic loading and electric loading are involved in that design calculation. The number of rotor slot selection main considered in order to avoid the undesirable effects of harmonics in the flux density wave forms. The rotors are cylindrical in shape having parallel slots on it to place rotor windings. The design system is compatibility based on where specific magnetic loading or specific electric loading with synchronous generator generate more electrical power and to get better performance. The relation between specific loading and volume of the generator, short circuit ratio and air gap length, comparison design data and efficiency due to load changing are mainly emphasized studying in this paper.
