In our country, a large number of people accounts for old aged groups, physically differently able people with damaged limbs due to accidents which faces severe problem in climbing staircases at public buildings, parks, old residential buildings, their private homes. Also the maximum number of buildings is not equipped with elevators or escalators. Most of these buildings have certain limitations of installing elevators or escalators. Hence, Stair lift proves to be effective way to tackle such problems faced by India and can be game changer for handicapped & old aged population of India. A stair lift is a mechanical device which is used to lift people and goods up and down on the stairs, who may find it difficult in doing so themselves. In this a rail is mounted along the treads of the stairs. A chair or carriage is attached to the rail. A person on the chair or carriage is lifted as the chair or carriage moves along the rail. Our main aim is to design stair lift for Curved Tracks using optimized driving mechanism, also focusing on modular design aspect while designing the system in order to make assembly trouble free and less time consuming during assembly as well as during maintenance and to carry out results for fail safe design. The general considerations of outcomes in design and manufacture of a Curved stairlift which should be useful for lifting people weight up to 120kg.

A Go-Kart, also written as go-cart (often referred to as simply a kart), is a type of open wheel car. Go-karts come in all shapes and forms, from motorless models to high-powered racing machines. Some, such as Super karts, are able to beat racing cars or motorcycles on long circuits. The scopes identified chassis design should bear load of 150 kg and the go-kart chassis must with floor dimension of chassis is 1193 mm X 1117 mm. There are many steps taken to design and fabricate this chassis. The first stage is did some literature review about the existing Go-Kart and Go-Kart chassis. Mostly current model of Go-Kart chassis is made from tubular pipe. Hence, this project is to modify the current model of Go-Kart chassis into a model that is easier to design, build and modify. Follow up with some designing and sketching. Designing is done by using software Solid works and ANSYS. This go-kart is powered by Briggs and Stratton engine. A Go-Kart must be driven only on racing track. Kart racing usually used as a low cost and relatively safe way to introduce drivers to motor racing. Karting is considered as the first step in any serious racer's career. The fabrication process of our Go-Kart is in such a way that it can attain good speed and acceleration. Even the breaking ability is considerably good.

Robotics is one of the fastest growing engineering fields of today. Robots are designed to remove the human factor from labour intensive or dangerous work and also to act in inaccessible environment. The inspection of pipes may be relevant for improving security and efficiency in industrial plants. These specific operations as inspection, maintenance, cleaning etc. are expensive, thus the application of the robots appears to be one of the most attractive solutions. The robots with a flexible structure may boast adaptability to the environment, especially to the pipe diameter, with enhanced dexterity, manoeuvrability, capability to operate under hostile conditions. The wheeled robots are the simplest, most energy efficient, and have the best potential for long range. Loading the wheels with springs, robots also offer some advantages in manoeuvrability with the ability to adapt to in-pipe unevenness, move vertically in pipes, and stay stable without slipping in pipes. These types of robots also have the advantage of easier miniaturisation. As we are observed that in industry, home, power plant, etc. there are several problems occurs inside the pipe like Corrosion, Cracking, Dent Mark, Metal Losses, etc., we are inspecting the pipe with the help of ‘PIPE INSPECTION ROBOT’.

A go-kart, also written as go-cart (often referred to as simply a kart), is a type of open wheel car. Go-karts come in all shapes and forms, from motorless models to high-powered racing machines. Some as Superkarts, are able to beat racing cars or motorcycles on long circuits. Conventional transmissions allow for the selection of discrete gear ratios, thus limiting the engine to providing maximum power or efficiency for limited ranges of output speed. Because of the engine is forced to modulate its speed to provide continuously variable output from the transmission to the load, it operates much of the time in low power and low efficiency regimes. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is a type of transmission, however, that allows variable ratio change within a finite range, thereby allowing the engine to continuously operate in its most efficient or highest performance range, while the transmission provides a continuously variable output to the load. The development of modern CVTs has generally focused on friction driven devices, such as those commonly used in off-road recreational vehicles, and recently in some automobiles.
