A reliable and high throughput Multi-Rate Ad Hoc routing protocol: Cross layer approach 一种可靠的高吞吐量多速率自组织路由协议:跨层方法

In this paper, a high throughput routing protocol, using the MAC layer information, for Multi-Rate Ad-hoc Networks is proposed. By choosing the route with the minimum value of the proposed “Route Assessment Index”, the selected route is ensured to have high throughput with link's reliability. Also, link bottleneck could be avoided in the chosen route. Hence, the packet drop rate is also decreased. The correctness of the proposal is proven and the simulation results show that our new metric provides an accurate and efficient method for evaluating and selecting the high throughput route in Multi-Rate Ad-hoc Networks.

A stochastic end-to-end response time analysis of pipelined M2M-based manufacturing systems 基于流水线的m2m制造系统的随机端到端响应时间分析

This paper proposes a stochastic end-to-end response time analysis of pipelined manufacturing systems based on machine-to-machine communication, where every control message initiating from the first stage is relayed to the next stages along the pipeline. Through the proposed analysis, we can compute the end-to-end response time distribution of each control message, thus provide predictable performance in terms of end-to-end manufacturing times.

Load-aware beamforming and association for system-wide utility maximization 负载感知波束形成和关联系统范围内的效用最大化

In the cellular systems, the performance can be severely degraded if the loads are imbalanced among cells. We consider a joint optimization of association control and beamforming to maximize a system-wide utility function as a means to balance the load across multiple cells. The beamforming weight vector can be adapted as the channel status varies, but it is not practical to change the user association from a cell to another at the same frequency. Accordingly, we propose algorithms to adapt the beamforming weight vectors according to the channel status variation during the runtime while the association control and the beamforming policy, affecting the runtime beamforming weight vector determination, are selected in a longer time scale. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithms significantly improve the system-wide performance compared with legacy schemes by balancing the load.

Non-coherent synchronization for WBAN UWB systems WBAN超宽带系统的非相干同步

This paper presents non-coherent synchronization method for UWB WBAN systems. The non-coherent synchronization including packet detection and SFD detection is described and packet error rate performance in AWGN is provided. Finally, we make a conclusion in view of the implemental aspect.

Efficient digital hologram generation using reflection symmetry of principle fringe pattern 利用原理条纹图案的反射对称有效地生成数字全息图

Recently a novel look-up table (N-LUT) method to dramatically reduce the number of pre-calculated interference patterns required for generation of digital holograms was proposed. In this method, principle fringe pattern (PFP) has reflection symmetry in geometry. Thus in this paper, we proposed the memory reduction method using this reflection symmetry of PFP. From some experimental result, the memory could be reduced by 50%.

A novel MIH handover procedure for efficient PMIPv6 network 一种新的高效PMIPv6网络MIH切换方法

In this paper, we proposed a new MIH handover procedure for resource efficiency and handover delay performance in the wireless link of MIH that offers seamless handover between heterogeneous networks. New transaction messages are proposed to indicate a handover event by the MN. We focus the application of our procedure to a handover scenario from mobile WiMAX to wireless LAN, and consider the qualitative performance analysis of handover delay. Based on its performance result, we can see that our proposed procedure works more efficiently than the existing handover procedure.

Throughput limits of UWB based 802.15.4a 基于802.15.a的UWB吞吐量限制

We investigate the maximum throughput and minimum delay for the unlostted version of the IEEE 802.15.4a using Ultra Wide Band (UWB). The throughput and delay limits are calculated for different data rates along with the formulae. UWB based 802.15.4a can achieve maximum throughput of 701 Kbps with a data rate of 851 Kbps.

Fast forwarding table lookup exploiting GPU memory architecture 利用GPU内存架构的快速转发表查找

As the traffic of the Internet increases and diversifies, the needs for a fast flexible router have made researchers to work on software routers. The existing software router systems may utilize the cluster structure of multiple machines or GPU systems. Especially, Packet Shader, which uses GPU to exploit GPU's extensive parallelism, shows higher performance compared to other existing software routers. However, Packet Shader does not utilize the memory architecture in the GPU system. Basically, GPU has different types of memories such as constant, texture, and global. Since different types of memories show different memory access performance, we propose a unique index architecture for the forwarding table by exploiting the memory architecture of the GPU system. Through a preliminary evaluation, we show that the forwarding table lookup using GPU can outperform the CPU only system.

PTS scheme using additive mapping sequence for peak power reduction in OFDM systems 利用加性映射序列的PTS方案降低OFDM系统的峰值功率

In this paper, a new low-complexity partial transmit sequence (PTS) scheme is proposed, which generates alternative signal sequences by adding mapping signal sequences of each subblock to each signal subsequence. The proposed scheme considerably reduces the computational complexity without sacrificing BER and PAPR reduction performance, especially for the OFDM system with quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM).
