The subject of the article is the key ways of applying semiotics to analysis of the Soviet films. It is shown that semiotic analysis is a common method in film studies. In Russian issues on the Soviet cinema, the problem of the lack of integration between the visual semiotics and semiotics of literature was revealed. The analysis of the video is not always carried out together with the analysis of the plot, and vice versa. The most heuristic are the issues that pay attention to both the visual and text, as well as, supplement semiotics by other methodologies.

Pressure leaching is one of the most high-demanded and promising hydrometallurgical technology, which allows one to obtain high efficiency. Taking into account the shutdown of zinc plant in Vladikavkaz («Electrozinc, Lls.») searching the modern methods of zinc production is of current interest. In this work, the issue was observed on influence of temperature and sodium lignosulfonate (SL) onto the zinc and iron sulfides behavior during pressure leaching of zinc sulfide concentrate from the Uchalinsk deposit. Temperature increasing from 130 to 150o C led to decreasing of zinc extraction and sulfur-sulfide pellets formation; that indicated increasing the zinc sulfide wettability by the molten sulfur due to reduction of viscosity and surface tension of molten sulfur. Increasing the LSN dosage promoted running up of the absolute value of the zinc extraction. The highest growth of the zinc extraction (17.39 %) was obtained at 0.2 g/dm3 LSN. Further increasing of the LSN concentration on 0.2 g/dm3 (up to 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 g/dm3 ) led to double decrease of their effectiveness in reference to previous LSN concentration.

Development of financial management in each country occurs in a unique way It is due to historical traditions, administrative structure, internal and foreign policy of the state (aimed to improving the socio-economic situation in the country), the needs of various economic structures and organizations of the public administration system, including those aimed to centralizing (decentralizing) the management of financial flows of the country. In the paper, relevance of the research topic is due to strengthening the role of financial management under conditions of digitalization of the economy and searching the ways to improve the effectiveness of financial management in Russia including on the basis of domestic experience and the experience of developed foreign countries.

“Discourse on the overthrow of the king of Sweden” was written by the French diplomat resident in Copenhagen Charles de Danzay in 1568. It tells about the events of the overthrow of the Swedish monarch Eric XIV that occurred in the same 1568 by his brothers: Dukes Karl and Johan. Danzay in his “Discourse” gives estimates of the regime of Eric XIV. The work allows us to compare it with The Opritchnina regime of Ivan IV the terrible. The article also discusses the “Muscovite plot” related to the overthrow of Eric XIV: the so-called “the case of Katerina Jagiellonka”. In addition, the topic of Franch presence in the Baltic is briefly touched upon. In the article, the author comes to the conclusion that “Discourse” Danzay is a valuable source on the history of Sweden and Russia, the Baltic question in the XVI century Northern Seven years' war, which can shed light on many until today the dark questions.

Changes, both in the enterprise and in the country, are associated with development, which is the main characteristic of any economic system or organization. Under contemporary conditions, the international position of individual countries and enterprises is determined by the intensity of application of the achievements of science and technology. Therefore, due to innovative changes, you can make a profit, create jobs, and increase prestige in the international arena. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to improve organizations and develop their activities in a competitive environment by introducing the contemporary innovative technologies and reducing the staff resistance to these transformations. The article topic is disclosed by the example of organization of the Sverdlovsk Directorate of Passenger Arrangements of JSC Russian Railways. The paper discusses the theoretical foundations of the technology to overcome the staff resistance to innovation in the organization, analyzes the technology using a specific example and offers recommendations for its improvement.

In the paper, we study properties of the α-sets, which are generalizations of the convex sets. Relationship between the α-sets and weakly convex sets is established. It is proved that the weakly convex Vial sets with bounded Chebyshev radius are α-ones. An example is given showing that the converse is not true.

The article discusses the method of creating the simulation model of the assembly department of a double-reduction right-angle reduction gear unit using the program “Tecnomatix Plant Simulation”. Optimization of the technological process by identifying bottlenecks and their leveling is carried out. Methods for eliminating downtime in the existing production scheme are shown that increase in the productivity of the assembly department.

The paper discusses the possibility of a potential reception between F.-R. Chateaubriand and S. S. Uvarov in pamphlets on Napoleon in 1814. The author (in the process of comparative comparison of political and cultural glossaries and rhetorical strategies of both figures) draws on the methodological tools of the Cambridge School of the “History of Concepts” (Q. Skinner and J.G.A. Pocock). Based on this analysis, a conclusion is drawn about the similarities and differences between rhetorical strategies, political, and cultural glossaries in the designated pamphlets about Napoleon.
