PARAMETRIC STUDY OF RCC CHIMNEY FOR DIFFERENT LOADING CONDITION 不同加载条件下碾压混凝土烟囱的参数化研究

A chimney is a means by which waste gases produced due to industrial processes are discharged to the atmosphere. Height of the chimney is kept such that the gases get diluted due to atmospheric turbulence. Chimney is particularly susceptible to the wind pressures so it is important to correctly estimate the design wind loads. It is a vertical cantilevered shell pierced by openings where necessary and subjected to large temperature gradients. The prime focus of the present major project work is to study the behaviour of chimney structure under the effect of wind loads, earthquake loads and temperature gradients. Chimney has been modelled in STAAD.Pro V8i using the lumped mass modelling approach to calculate dynamic properties useful for seismic and wind analysis. BIS has published draft code IS 4998 in April 2013 for design of reinforced concrete chimney. The provisions of the Draft code IS 4998:2013 are studied and compared with the provisions of the Indian Standards IS 4998 (Part 1) 1992. The effect of temperature gradient and stresses induced on chimney is carried out. Parametric study has also been carried out for an RCC chimney for different geometric variation in chimney. India is basically an agriculture based country and more then 80% populations depends on it India is basically an agriculture based country and more than 80% of Indian population depends on it. Agricultural productivity influences the Indian economy. Insect pests are known to cause significant damage to crops. The pesticide of plant origin is having nontoxic biodegradable and environmental friendly qualities. The frequent spraying of toxic chemicals developing resistance to the pesticide. Leaf powder of the plants like Argimone maxicana and Calotropis procera is prepared, Different doses of these plant extracts is given to the fourth instar stages of Helicoverpa armigera through feeding methods, To find their efficacy the experimental findings will be put under analysis using various perameters. The effect on midgut is also studied, Key word: Distillation plant, Acetone, Alcohol, Piptte, Castor leaves, Grams pods, larvae of Helicoverpa armigera, plant extract, Vails, Jars,Cotton. INTRODUCTION The problem of insect pest is intensified by a large number of insects of nuisance value to man and having a broad spectrum of their harmful effects .The most common example of this category is the Lepidopterain pests that are interfering in maintenance of a hygienic environment for healthy leaving. This moth is the single major pest for global plant agriculture.This moth and its close relatives over come chemical insecticide to attack over 100 crop plant species at an annual cost of over US $ five billion. The gram (Cicer aretinum) is an important vegetable crop grown in the country, unfortunately this vegetable crop suffers heavily from various insect pest and disease which reduces not only to its yield but also spoil the quality. Among the various pests the gram pod borer has been reported to cause maximum economic damage to the gram crops in India In agricultural pest management botanical insecticides are best suited for us in organic food production in industrialized countries but can play a much greater role in the production and post harvest protection of food in developing countries. The use of simple formulation of plants such as leaf, flower or seed powder extracts needs of to be popularized . Their being safe to non target organism, including human. METERIAL AND METHODS The selection of the pest was mainly based on the local pest problem and the rearing possibilities of the selected pest species under laboratory conditions. The gram pod borer Helicoverpa armigera belongs to order lepidoptera and family Noctuidae. It’s a phytophagous pest. For rearing, adults were collected from the field by light trap method. They were allowed to mate and lay eggs in glass troughs which contain moist soil. The sides of the troughs were provided with paper so that female could rest and lay eggs on them. Water was added to the soil to maintain the humidity. The honey soaked cotton was changed daily. Soon after hatching of the egg, the 1 st instar larvae transfered t

Engineering structures are very complex and difficult to analyze for their dynamic, or vibrational, behavior. With the incidental loss of life and property witnessed in the last couple of decades alone in India, due to failure of structures caused by earthquakes, now attention is given to neglect the adequacy of strength in RC framed structures to resist strong ground motions. To determine structural response beyond yield point, out of two types of nonlinearity material and geometrical, material nonlinearity is considered in present paper. Abstract: Many land area are covered with agricultural area. Building a high rise building is very important, but high rise buildings have many more problems. Where human live there good life with their family. This less gap between two buildings faced more problems in construction and also problem occurs after construction because of earthquake. During earthquake high rise multistory building faced pounding effect occur on adjacent buildings. By earthquake buildings mode shape will changes and by different mode shape pounding will accurse. By pounding building will damage architectural or structural damage. Pounding force is effected by mass and acceleration of the storey. So if change building element cross section it will change mass and stiffness of the building. By both change pounding force will change. If stiffness of the building element change then deflection of the building is also change. Deflection of the building is effect on pounding force and pounding time. Overall pounding force is depends on stiffness of the building.

Parametric Study on Multi-Storey RC Building with Belt Truss System 多层钢筋混凝土带桁架结构参数化研究

Due to the advances in structural systems nowadays building became light weight, and slenderness is increased. Which is the reason why the lateral loads are required to be considered. These lateral loads are wind and earthquake load. For resistance of this lateral loads in tall buildings, identification of proper structural system is must. For lateral resistance of tall buildings, there are many structural systems. In tall buildings, the stiffness of the building becomes more important. Thus, the belt truss outrigger system is used in tall building to provide sufficient lateral stiffness. Outrigger and belt truss system is one of the structural system which controls the excessive drift due to lateral load. The risk of structural and non-structural damage can be lowered during wind or earthquake load by using this system. Outriggers in the building results in less usable space on particular floors. In this research work the behaviour of building having 2 belt trusses with outrigger system and building having 3 belt trusses with outer shear wall are studied for 30, 40 and 50 storey RC buildings.

Abstract: In Heat Exchangers text books, the derivation of the effectiveness( )and the number of transfer units( NTU ), (ε-NTU) relations, are based on figures which are difficult to understand and the physical meaning of the steps in the derivation is unclear. The NTU-Effectiveness heat exchanger design formula for the double pipe heat exchanger in parallel flow arrangement is derived from the first principles. Energy equations of parallel flow arrangement for both the hot and the cold fluids are determined. The actual rate of heat transfer for parallel flow arrangement along with the heat exchanger effectiveness are stated. The relationship between the effectiveness( )and the number of transfer units( NTU ) for the double pipe heat exchanger in parallel flow arrangement is plotted.

In the age of technology and the spread of the Internet, the diffusion, of e-shopping has increased. The Internet has made the commercial transactions faster and simplest and both the sellers and buyers get benefited by this technology. Eshopping provides a perfect example of the business revolution. Electronic Commerce has made life easier and more innovative of an individual. Consumer Behavior from e shopping differs from the spot market. The paper's goal was to review the consumer behavior in electronicshopping and analyses the factors which influence customers' behavior in e-shopping at Iraq. The research question in this paper is the way that consumers act during eshopping. Data was accumulated from the questionnaire survey by using Google Forms. The survey was prepared in the Arabic language. The data were collected in April 2017. A total of 492 respondents participated in the study. The study has shown the majority of Iraqis’ are not doing eshopping with 47%, therefore, it's clear that the tendency of e shopping is not very well known in the Iraqi economy as mostly and whole individuals, usually visit the store before e-shopping. also, It was given an overview of the e-shopping in globally and in the Arab region

Solving Reconfiguration Problem Using Multi Objective Particle Swarm Optimization for Power Distribution System 用多目标粒子群算法求解配电系统重构问题

This paper introduces a new Multi Objective Particle swarm Optimization algorithm (MOPSO) for the purpose of solving the DSR problem& optimal placement of DGs .The objectives of the problem are to minimize real power losses and improve the voltage profile with minimum switching operations. the best solution is determined by simply considering the sum of the normalized objective values. Radial system topology is satisfied using graph theory by formulating the branch bus incidence matrix (BBIM) and checking the rank of each topology. To test the algorithm, it was applied to widely studied test systems and a real one. The results show the efficiency of this algorithm as compared to other methods in terms of achieving all the goals simultaneously with reasonable population and generation sizes and without using a mutation rate, which is usually problem dependent.
