Effects of electron-phonon interaction in tunneling processes in nanostructures 纳米结构隧穿过程中电子-声子相互作用的影响

Tunneling through a system with two discrete electron levels coupled by electron-phonon interaction is considered. The interplay between elastic and inelastic tunneling channels is analyzed not only for weak electron-phonon coupling but also for strong coupling in the resonant case. It is shown that the intensity and width of peaks in the tunneling conductivity is strongly influenced by nonequilibrium effects.

Continuous-time quantum Monte Carlo method for fermions: Beyond auxiliary field framework 费米子的连续时间量子蒙特卡罗方法:超越辅助场框架

A numerically exact continuous-time quantum Monte Carlo algorithm for finite fermionic systems with nonlocal interactions is proposed. The scheme is particularly applicable for general multiband time-dependent correlations, since it does not invoke Hubbard-Stratonovich transformation. The present determinantal grand-canonical method is based on a stochastic series expansion for the partition function in the interaction representation. The results for the Green function and for the time-dependent susceptibility of multiorbital supersymmetric impurity model with a spin-flip interaction are presented.

Magnetotunneling spectroscopy is used to reveal the spin splitting of the ground state of Si donors related to the X valley in an AlAs barrier. The absolute effective values of the longitudinal and transverse g factors in the AlAs barrier are found to be equal to 1.82±0.15 and 1.11±0.12, respectively.

Time-resolved nonlinear surface plasmon optics 时间分辨非线性表面等离子体光学

A new surface-sensitive method of time-resolved optical studies is proposed. The method consists in the independent excitation of several surface electromagnetic waves (SEW) by two laser femtosecond pulse beams with varied time delay Δτ and distance Δr between corresponding excitation regions on the surface. To fulfill the phase-matching condition for plasmon-photon coupling, metal grating is used. Due to nonlinear plasmon interaction, the optical radiation with ω1 + ω2 and 2ω1 − ω2 (where ω1, ω2 are corresponding laser beam frequencies) is generated. The intensity of this nonlinear response versus Δτ and Δr are studied. The direct measurements of the SEW temporal properties are presented. Experiments of this type are important for the development of femtosecond surface plasmon optics.

Low-frequency (3–120 cm−1) Raman scattering in the orientationally disordered phase and the photopolymerized state of fullerite was investigated. Experimental data suggest that, by analogy with scattering in disordered media (glasses), the low-frequency spectra can be described in terms of scattering by the localized vibrational states.

Ferromagnetism of manganese compounds 锰化合物的铁磁性

It is shown on the basis of the notion of a strong electron-electron interaction in the unit cell that a ferromagnetic instability is possible in a system with hops between manganese cations and oxygen anions. The phase diagram for the existence of ferromagnetic ordering as a function of the degrees of underfilling np and nt of the 2p6 shell of oxygen and the 3tg6 shell of manganese, respectively, is constructed.
