Design and development of low cost multicore processor for parallel computation 用于并行计算的低成本多核处理器的设计与开发

This paper presents the design of RISC architecture based multicore processor using the Xilinx® development platform for designing and Spartan-6 FPGA for the implementation of the architecture. The light weight multithreaded kernel module is implemented on the top of the architecture to demonstrate the parallel programming potentials on the same. A task assigned to the processor is managed by the OS which also controls the traffic At the end of the paper benchmarking and profiling results are mentioned, which bring to the close that the design mentioned in this paper gives better results with its counterparts.

Design of low power SRAM on Artix-7 FPGA 基于Artix-7 FPGA的低功耗SRAM设计

SRAM is associated with cache memory inside computer system, it increases overall speed of the system. In this work 64kb SRAM is synthesized and simulated on Artix-7 FPGA board by using different Input-Output Standard techniques. For designing SRAM, HSTL_I, HSTL_I_18, HSTL_II and HSTL_II_18 IO Standards are used and power dissipation is calculated on various range of operating frequencies and find HSTL_I is most power efficient IO Standard among these other IO Standards. at 1GHz, 2GHz and 3GHz operating frequency if HSTL_I is used in place of HSTL_II_18, 26.38%, 17.18% and 11.12% power can be saved.

A new gender detection algorithm considering the non-stationarity of speech signal 一种考虑语音信号非平稳性的性别检测新算法

This paper presents a new pitch based gender detection algorithm by analyzing the non stationary behavior of speech signal. To find pitch a peak detection algorithm is developed which find the dominant frequencies of vowel part of speech signal and then select the fundamental frequency from them. The evaluation is done on the 200 voice samples by using POC as the accuracy parameter. Gender identification is an important step in speaker and speech recognition system. A gender dependent system reduces the size and complexity of the system. Detecting the gender from the non linguistic characteristics of the voice is well known as gender detection. To extract the gender information from the speech signal we have used a feature called pitch from voiced part of the speech signal. To extract the mentioned feature ‘pitch’ from the speech signal we develop a peak detection algorithm and used standard Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) technique. Further, this feature is used for the speaker's gender classification.

A detailed survey and comparative study of sentiment analysis algorithms 对情感分析算法进行了详细的调查和比较研究

Sentiment Analysis is the process of figuring out the emotions from a piece of writing that whether it is positive, negative or neutral and is used to tell the speaker's attitude. The trend, today, is to consider the opinions of a variety of individuals around the globe before purchasing an item using micro-blogging data. Customers tend to go over a lot of reviews about a particular item before buying it. Sentiment Analysis makes this task easy for the customers. Sentiment Analysis aims to achieve its function in the simplest manner with the help of an existing approach and an existing algorithm. This paper focuses on the various Sentiment Analysis algorithms available in the existing literature. Further, this paper presents the comparative study of different Sentiment Analysis algorithms on the basis of accuracy.

In this paper we diminish the operational state temperature of electro-thermally incited micro-gripper from thousand Kelvin to 377 [K] with the displacement of 17.9 μm and for incitation parallel biasing component is utilized with 0–2 volt go.

Resource allocation strategies used in cloud computing: A critical analysis 云计算中使用的资源分配策略:批判性分析

The revolution in utility computing paradigm is brought by Cloud computing which replaces the traditional software installation. The cloud computing service models are basically classified into three parts i.e. software as a service (Saas), Platform as a service (Paas) and Infrastructure as a service (Iaas). There are four deployment models followed by Cloud computing i.e. Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and Community Cloud. The proposed system comes under the Iaas which provides memory and processor as a resource. Every user wanted to get the services of cloud as they submit the job immediately. In this situation the allocation of resource at real time is a challenging issue. Cloud services are efficiently and optimally allocated to satisfy the requirements of customer. The focus of this paper is detailed and comparative study on different resource allocation strategies by preserving the service level agreement (SLA). The paper brief the algorithms used by the cloud service provider to allocate resources when the multiple jobs arrive with different burst time and different resource requirement.

Unbiased two-stage bilateral and non-local approach for MRI denoising 无偏两阶段双侧非局部MRI去噪方法

Denoising of MR (Magnetic Resonance) images is one of the crucial tasks in the field of medicine as it is often corrupted by Rician noise which exhibits a signal dependent behaviour at different SNR. Due to the biased nature of Rician noise, it is a challenging task to attenuate Rician noise from MR images. In this paper, we analyse the basic and effective MRI denoising techniques. Also, we have proposed a two-stage denoising procedure which has a strong potential to remove Rician noise from MR images effectively. The efficacy of proposed two-stage MRI denoising method is analysed through qualitative and quantitative measures and it is observed that the performance of the proposed two-stage denoising procedure is superior to single-stage MRI denoising methods.

Optimal LFC system of interconnected thermal power plants using hybrid particle swarm optimization-pattern search algorithm (hPSO-PS) 基于混合粒子群优化-模式搜索算法(hPSO-PS)的互联火电厂LFC系统优化

In this paper, the application of pattern search algorithm (PS) in conjunction with the well known algorithm “particle swarm optimization” (PSO) has been explored in the area of automatic generation control for multi area interconnected thermal power system. The resultant hybrid algorithm named as “hPSO-PS” has been applied to optimize the parameters of proportional integral controllers in the two areas of power plant. The control optimization problem has been defined with lower and upper bounds of the controller's parameters along with the ITAE as an objective function. The simulation results have also been compared with the previously proposed PSO/PI and PSO/PID approach in the literature and the results show that the approach hPSO-PS/PI proposed here provides far better results than PSO/PI and PSO/PID for the same system and same ITAE as an objective function in terms of the less settling times and peak overshoots, better dynamic responses, quick response of returning back to the zero frequency as well as the tie line power deviations with fewer oscillations. The results have been simulated in MATLAB environment.

Comparison on behavior of different faults in fuzzy logic and PID controlled switched reluctance motor drives 模糊逻辑和PID控制开关磁阻电机驱动中不同故障行为的比较

In the present scenario, Switched reluctance motors (SRM) are growing prominence by industry due to their simple and craggy motor construction, the proficiency of running at wide speed range, their simple unipolar current drive system, high torque to inertia ratio, high consistency, and low cost. This study gives the information about different types of faults occurring in Switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives. SRM has unique property that it can run the motor during the fault condition by its inherent fault resilient capability. This paper emphasizes on switch open fault and switch short fault in the inverter circuitry so that fault-tolerant topology can be implemented to minimize toque and speed ripples. This paper also gives the comparison in fault behavior of switched reluctance motor drive having fuzzy controller and PID controller.

A teacher learning based optimization approach to tune backstepping controller for a single-link flexible-joint manipulator 基于教师学习的单连杆柔性关节机械臂反步控制器优化方法

This paper presents a Teacher Learning Based Optimization (TLBO) approach to tune the backstepping controller for effective control of a single-link flexible-joint manipulator. To assess the relative performance of TLBO, comparative studies have been carried out with the two other popular optimization techniques namely genetic algorithm and cuckoo search algorithm. The integral absolute error was minimized and used as the performance index to carry out the performance evaluation for the above mentioned optimization techniques. Based on the presented simulation studies, it is concluded that TLBO is a prospective method for backstepping controller tuning for a single-link flexible-joint manipulator.
本文提出了一种基于教师学习的优化方法来调整反步控制器,使其有效地控制单连杆柔性关节机械臂。为了评估TLBO的相对性能,我们与另外两种流行的优化技术——遗传算法和布谷鸟搜索算法进行了比较研究。以积分绝对误差最小化为性能指标,对上述优化技术进行性能评价。基于所提出的仿真研究,得出TLBO是一种有前景的单连杆柔性关节机械臂反步控制器整定方法。
