Targeting Worship Places: “A Comparative Study on International Humanitarian Law and Islamic Law”. 针对礼拜场所:“国际人道法与伊斯兰法的比较研究”。

War and atrocities are not new to this world, Islamic law and IHL both have addressed this subject and have described the principle of warfare such as that the belligerents must minimize incidental harm to civilians and civilian objects including religious site, and that this limits the means and methods that they can use. Islamic law which comprises of sharia and fiqh discusses this subject but it is not codified. Islamic law has not yet been acknowledged when it comes to IHL -even article 38 recognizes general principles of nation as a source. Islam is the second largest religion in the world which mirrors the modern framework of IHL and is complementary to that regime.

The Revelation and Compilation of Torah: A Critical Review of a Few Prominent Muslim Scholars 《托拉》的启示与编纂:几个著名穆斯林学者的评论

Muslim scholars have generally assumed that the Torah was all revealed at once to Prophet Musa [Moses], peace be on him, which is why the Muslim discourse on the Torah generally lacks discussion on its codification. However, some of the Muslim scholars took the position that, like the Qur’an, the Torah was revealed gradually. The present paper examines the views of four eminent scholars – ‘Ubaydullah Sindhi, Abu ’l-A‘la Mawdudi, Amin Ahsan Islahi and Javed Ahmad Ghamidi – and tries to build a comprehensive theory about the revelation and codification of the Torah as well as about critical analysis of the content of the Pentateuch. It concludes that the principles which Muslim tradition has developed for ascertaining authenticity of traditions and for interpretation of the Qur’anic verses and Prophetic traditions as well as for reconciliation of apparently conflicting texts can be very beneficial in developing a coherent Muslim theory for Biblical criticism.

A Comparative Analysis of the Two Notions about the inerrable status of Ahl al-Bayt 关于Ahl al-Bayt绝对地位的两种观念的比较分析

To be inerrable (Asmat) is an inward trait that prevents a person from sin despite being sinful by nature is a unique feature of the prophets. In all human beings, only the prophets are innocent of sins and error. Allah has bestowed upon Ahl-e- Bayt of Muhammadﷺ  a very high position by granting them this prestigious stature of being innocent and pure from sins as per Shia school of thought. Their strongest argument in this regard is the ayat e Tatheer in which the Ahl-e- Bayt are declared cleansed of all filth of sins from them. The Ahl-e- Sunnah interpret it as a protection of Ahl al-Bayt against all sins.  In this article the viewpoint that Ahl-e- Bait are safe from sin but not innocent or inerrable is discussed.

Corona Virus – Some Important Religious Aspects of its Prevention 冠状病毒-预防的一些重要的宗教方面

The issue of religious rituals like congregational prayers (Salah with Jamaat) in Masajid is being extensively discussed during the pandemic of COVID-19. The suspension of religious congregations in the current scenario so as to ensure social (physical) distancing and the permission of praying (Salah) at home is discussed in the light of Islamic teachings. The discussion is mostly based on the Shariah view on human values whereby opting out safety especially in the wake of infectious diseases / pandemics. The references are primarily taken from Qura’n and Sunnah and Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh).

The article aims to offer an analysis of the Prophet’s preaching conversation based upon selected Ahadith from Bukhari and Muslim in order to cipher his diverse roles as an orator, an imam a leader a husband a merchant, a head of state, a father a preacher, a teacher and in other capacities. This article especially includes Dawah reflections in the dialogues of Holy Prophet about Islam and its pillars of worship such as prayer, alms, fasting and others.

Effects of Secular Organisations on the Society: A Case Study of Pakistan 世俗组织对社会的影响:以巴基斯坦为例

This paper elucidates upon secularist phenomena in Pakistani society; as there are many divergent ideas that have affected the Muslim world through its long history and many groups have opposed the mainstream Sunni path. Groups like Jabariyya, Qadariyya and other such divergent groups have not brought the Ummah to such great danger as the modern day secularism has. This paper discusses the effects of secular organisations upon the Pakistani society from the aspects of education, media, and politics and in social fields with reference to secularist elements therein.

The aim of this research was to analyze the Prophet’s hadith, “Beware! Avoid sitting on roadsides” to highlight the code of conduct to be adopted for roads in Islam. Many Muslims are unaware of those rights and keep whispering, gazing, and flirting. The research consists of two major sections: the first is about the narration and attribution, the second includes the analysis of hadith where it includes eight sub-sections. The results showed the Prophet's (Peace be upon him) keenness to build a strong and unified society, whereby he provided a set of social morals to be considered by those sitting on roadsides, which are namely to “Lower the gaze, refrain from harm, return greetings of peace, enjoin good and forbid evil.”

Preventive Rules in the Management of Epidemics as per Sunnah 按照圣训管理流行病的预防规则

The research aims at understanding the meaning of the preventive rules in the management of epidemics in the Prophet’s Sunnah as visualized by the Prophet, PBUH along with its explanation. The prevention of epidemics through quarantine and sanitary isolation is endorsed by the Sunnah of the Prophet. Moreover the Prophet has recommended actions like prohibition of adultery and sodomy, the clean utensils, mental health and appropriate medical treatment and the like. Good hygiene avoids falling into crises and dangers of ominous consequences, and contributes to the practical application of the preventive rules in managing epidemics according to the Sunnah in contemporary Islamic societies. The preventive measures like maintenance of good hygiene are the focus of this article.

The prevention of epidemics through quarantine and sanitary isolation is endorsed by the Sunnah of the Prophet. Moreover the Prophet has recommended actions like prohibition of adultery and sodomy, the clean utensils, mental health and appropriate medical treatment and the like. Good hygiene avoids falling into crises and dangers of ominous consequences, and contributes to the practical application of the preventive rules in managing epidemics according to the Sunnah in contemporary Islamic societies. This research deals with studying the life of Imam 'Ibrahim b. 'uwramat al'asbahani stating his position and impact on the science of hadith science in general. It reveals his approach for judging men by collecting his words spread in the books of wound and modification, and comparing them with the sayings of other critics with the aim of determining the extent of their approval or disagreement with him. Finally the characteristics of his approach for criticizing men is discussed.
