The integration of culture into science education serves as a bridge of knowledge, ensuring that students develop a comprehensive understanding of the scientific and social context and possess literacy as potential educators. The research objectives are to determine the following: 1) the topics that students are most interested in discussing in the context of "diversity," 2) the perspective of students on cultural integration in science learning, and 3) the interdependence of the context of science and the Batimung culture that is characteristic of South Kalimantan. The research methodology relies on a mixed-method with convergent model. Students in the 2020-2023 class of chemistry education comprised the sample. The data collection techniques comprise interviews, questionnaires, and literature reviews. According to the results, the scientific and social contexts are interconnected. The quantitative technique employed is a questionnaire that encompasses diversity aspects comprising a variety of topics. The results indicate that 1) the most desired subject matter for discussion is "the impact of the environment on an individual," with a 59% response rate; 2) cultural integration in science education is a critical endeavour; and 3) the Batimung culture demonstrates that the context of science and social (culture) are not only related but also mutually influential. The conclusion is that the context of science and social, particularly cultural aspects can be the most recent presentation in the teaching and profound interpretation of science through a cultural lens.

Students' learning outcomes are the main focus of the biology learning process. However, the basic phenomenon regarding students' biology learning outcomes shows that several issues still hinder the achievement of optimal learning outcomes. Therefore, this research aims to enhance students' cognitive learning outcomes by applying the picture and picture method to living organism classification. The research used Classroom Action Research with two cycles, each consisting of 2 meetings. The first cycle covered Monera, Protista, and Fungi, while the second covered Plantae and Mammalia. The number of students involved was 36 (M=18 and F=18). Students' cognitive learning outcomes were assessed using a 10-item multiple-choice cognitive test. The data on students' cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed using percentage techniques. Students were considered to have passed if they achieved a minimum score of 70. The analysis showed a significant improvement in students' cognitive learning outcomes, from 59.8 in cycle 1 to 77.1 in cycle 2. The number of students who achieved learning mastery increased by 43.5%, from 43.5% in cycle 1 to 87% in cycle 2. Therefore, applying the picture and picture method significantly improved students' cognitive learning outcomes regarding living organism classification. The implications of this research indicate that applying the Picture and Picture method effectively enhances students' cognitive learning outcomes on the topic of living organism classification, contributing positively to biology teaching practices in the classroom.

This study aims to evaluate the most relevant themes related to discovery learning through bibliometric analysis, with its input using the keyword "Discovery learning in Science Learning". The Scopus index database is used in this study as the source database to conduct a bibliometric study for an academic article in the period between 1976 to 2022. This research also uses the VOSviewer app as a bibliometric analysis tool to visualize networks of authors, countries, journals, and keywords. This study found that the number of publications on discovery learning has grown periodically. This study also identifies the top ten authors, top ten affiliations, the top ten countries, and the top ten journal publications as sources in the field of discovery learning. Keyword analysis proves that the study of discovery learning in the last four decades has centred on themes related to computer science education, learning models, discovery learning, public understanding/outreach, high school/introductory chemistry, and constructivism. The bibliometric analysis presented in this study provides relevant information about the main theme learned about discovery learning in science learning, which is seen in the increase in creativity, learning outcomes, and student achievement in school teaching and learning activities.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif untuk pembelajaran momentum dan impuls yang valid dan praktis serta mempunyai efektifitas pada hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan modifikasi dan kombinasi dari model pengembangan Akker dan evaluasi formatif Tessmer. Penelitian ini melalui tahap analisis, desain dan evaluasi. Multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan selanjutnya divalidasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli desain pembelajaran. Kevalidan media mendapatkan nilai 4,29 dengan kategori sangat valid, kevalidan materi mendapatkan nilai 4,09 dengan kategori valid dan kevalidan desain pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai 4,24 dengan kategori sangat valid. Untuk menguji kepraktisan multimedia interaktif dilokkan secara one to one dan small group yang dilakukan di SMA N 3 Pagaralam. Hasil penilaian angket peserta didik secara kuantitatif memiliki rerata sebesar 4,24 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Untuk menguji efektivitasnya pada hasil belajar peserta didik dilakukan field test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap tes hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan multimedia interaktif menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 46,52 dengan rerata hasil pretest 36,68 dan rerata hasil postest sebesar 83,20 sehingga diperoleh N-gain score sebesar 0,75 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif ini valid, praktis dan mempunyai efektifitas pada hasil belajar peserta didik. This study aims to produce interactive multimedia for learning valid and practical momentum and impulses and effectively improve student learning outcomes. This research method uses development research using modifications and combinations of the Akker development model and Tessmer's formative evaluation. This research is conducted through the stages of analysis, design and evaluation. Interactive multimedia was further validated by media, material, and learning design experts. The validity of the media gets a score of 4.29 with a very valid category, the validity of the material gets a score of 4.09 with a valid category, and the validity of the learning design gets a score of 4.24 with a very valid category. It was tested one to one and in small groups to test the practicality of interactive multimedia. The results of the questionnaire assessment of students quantitatively have a mean of 4.24 with a very practical category. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa sejauh mana perbandingan siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dalam menyikapi persoalan ilmiah dan membandingkannya dengan data sementara sebelumnya yang didapatkan oleh peneliti. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Negeri di Kabupaten Kerinci. Penelitian ini melibatkan 50 siswa sebagai responden yang terdiri dari 25 siswa laki-laki dan 25 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis Rasch untuk menelaah skala pengukuran, keadaan umum siswa, dan keadaan spesifik antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skala yang disusun dan responden yang dipilih dalam pengukuran sesuai dengan tuntutan Rasch model. Kemudian sikap ilmiah siswa secara umum baik laki-laki dan perempuan menunjukkan rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dari rata-rata item pengukuran dengan menggunakan Rasch model. Dalam satuan Logits Sikap ilmiah perempuan menunjukkan 1,28 dan Laki-laki 1,26. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sikap ilmiah laki-laki dan perempuan. This study aims to describe and analyze the extent to which male and female students compare in addressing scientific issues and compare them with the previous provisional data obtained by the researcher. This research is descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted in one of the public high schools in Kerinci Regency. This study involved 50 students as respondents consisting of 25 male and 25 female students. This study uses a Rasch analysis approach to examine the measurement scale, students' general condition, and the specific circumstances between male and female students. The results showed that the scale was compiled, and the respondents selected in the measurement were by the demands of the Rasch model. Then the general scientific attitude of students, both boys and girls, showed a higher average than the average of the measurement items using the Rasch model. In Logits, the scientific attitude of the female is 1.28, and the male is 1.26. The results of the study show that there is no significant difference between the scientific attitudes of men and women.

Kurangnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika diakibatkan dari faktor internal ataupun eksternal seperti metode pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, dan materi yang digunakan kurang menarik. Cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dengan bahan ajar yang menarik dan interaktif salah satunya pengembangan LKPD dalam bentuk elektronik yang dikaitkan dengan kearifan budaya lokal Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan juga hasil dari pengembangan E-LKPD pada materi lingkaran berbasis etnomatematika melalui pendekatan saintifik untuk SMP/MTs yang valid. Metode Research and Development atau R&D adalah metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini, dan dengan model 4D sampai pada tahap pengembangan saja. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini didasarkan pada uji validitas yang diperoleh melalui analisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari lembar validasi pada tahap develop yang dilakukan oleh tiga ahli. Menurut skor yang diberikan oleh ketiga ahli, didapatkan skor rata-rata 3,51, artinya E-LKPD termasuk kategori valid dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. The lack of student interest in learning mathematics is caused by internal or external factors such as learning methods that are less varied and the material used could be more attractive. One way that can be done to overcome this is with interesting and interactive teaching materials, one of which is the development of the student worksheet in electronic form that is linked to the local cultural wisdom of South Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the process and results of developing an E-student worksheet on ethnomathematical-based circle material through a valid scientific approach for SMP/MTs. The Research and Development or R&D method is used in this research, and the 4D model only reaches the development stage. The data analysis technique used in this study was based on the validity test obtained through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the validation sheet at the development stage carried out by three experts. According to the scores given by the three experts, an average score of 3.51 was obtained, meaning that the E-LKPD was included in the valid category and could be used in learning mathematics.

Cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dengan bahan ajar yang menarik dan interaktif salah satunya pengembangan LKPD dalam bentuk elektronik yang dikaitkan dengan kearifan budaya lokal Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan juga hasil dari pengembangan E-LKPD pada materi lingkaran berbasis etnomatematika melalui pendekatan saintifik untuk SMP/MTs yang valid. Metode Research and Development atau R&D adalah metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini, dan dengan model 4D sampai pada tahap pengembangan saja. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini didasarkan pada uji validitas yang diperoleh melalui analisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari lembar validasi pada tahap develop yang dilakukan oleh tiga ahli. Menurut skor yang diberikan oleh ketiga ahli, didapatkan skor rata-rata 3,51, artinya E-LKPD termasuk kategori valid dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. The lack of student interest in learning mathematics is caused by internal or external factors such as learning methods that are less varied and the material used could be more attractive. One way that can be done to overcome this is with interesting and interactive teaching materials, one of which is the development of the student worksheet in electronic form that is linked to the local cultural wisdom of South Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the process and results of developing an E-student worksheet on ethnomathematical-based circle material through a valid scientific approach for SMP/MTs. The Research and Development or R&D method is used in this research, and the 4D model only reaches the development stage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul elektronik bermuatan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang valid, praktis dan efektif sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam melatihkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dan diujicobakan pada 30 peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 MAN 1 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen validasi modul elektronik, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Validasi modul Elektronik memperoleh kategori baik dengan skor 3,19. (2) Kepraktisan modul elektronik memperoleh kategori baik dengan skor sebesar 3,16, (3) Keefektifan modul memperoleh kategori sedang dengan nilai N-gain keterampilan pemecahan masalah sebesar 0,56. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa modul elektronik impuls dan momentum linear bermuatan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang dikembangkan mampu untuk melatihkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Abad ke-21 keterampilan berpikir kritis penting dimiliki peserta didik. Dunia pendidikan dituntut menyesuaikan perkembangan teknologi terhadap usaha peningkatan mutu pendidikan salah satunya penggunaan bahan ajar. Pembelajaran selama pandemi mendorong untuk dilakukan pengujian pendidikan jarak jauh. Bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi berupa E-LKPD berbantuan liveworksheet dapat menjadi solusi pembelajaran daring. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan kualitas LKPD elektonik pada konsep plantae berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis jenjang SMA yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode desain Evaluasi Formatif Tessmer, melalui langkah pengembangan 1) Self evaluation, 2) Expert Review, 3) One-to-one evaluation, dan 4) Small group evaluation. Subjek uji validitas adalah tiga orang ahli, subjek uji perorangan adalah tiga orang peserta didik kelas X SMA, subjek kelompok kecil adalah empat orang peserta didik kelas X SMA. Analisis data penelitian secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian E-LKPD menunjukkan bahwa kepraktisan harapan kategori sangat baik berdasarkan 7 aspek penilaian peserta didik dan keefektifan harapan kategori sangat baik berdasarkan 6 aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis (interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, eksplanasi, dan pengaturan diri). Laporan dari PISA menunjukkan bahwa literasi sains Indonesia masih berada di 10 besar terendah di seluruh negara peserta PISA sejak tahun 2006 hingga 2018. Namun kurangnya informasi sehubungan dengan ruang sampling penelitian PISA yang digunakan dalam tes PISA yang dilakukan oleh OECD dan belum tersedianya alat tes standar yang dapat diakses dengan mudah untuk menilai literasi sains membuat sebagian besar praktisi pendidikan di Indonesia tidak memiliki gambaran yang jelas tentang kondisi literasi sains siswanya. Dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti sebelumnya, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kondisi literasi sains siswa di salah satu SMP Negeri Terakreditasi A di Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang pengumpulan datanya menggunakan alat tes literasi sains kontekstual lahan basah Kalimantan Selatan. Peserta tes terdiri dari 106 siswa kelas 8 dan kelas 9 di SMP Negeri Banjarmasin. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara umum nilai literasi sains siswa secara keseluruhan masih rendah dengan ketuntasan 40,56%. Menjelaskan fenomena secara ilmiah menempati urutan kedua dengan ketuntasan 42%. Keterampilan komunikasi dan efikasi diri merupakan dua hal penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan keterampilan komunikasi matematis berdasarkan efikasi diri pada segitiga dan segiempat. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP di Kampung Sukatani, Desa Sirnajaya, Kecamatan Tarogong Kaler, Kabupaten Garut. Data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari tes, angket, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri siswa kelas VIII terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Siswa dengan kategori efikasi diri tinggi memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang tinggi. Siswa dengan kategori efikasi diri memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang tergolong sedang. Siswa dengan kategori efikasi diri rendah memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang relatif rendah. Communication skills and self-efficacy are two important things in mathematics learning. This study aims to analyze and describe mathematical communication skills based on self-efficacy in the triangle and quadrilateral. This is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subject of this study eight-grade students of junior high school in Kampung Sukatani, Desa Sirnajaya, Kecamatan Tarogong Kaler, Kabupaten Garut. The data in the study was obtained from tests, questionnaires, interviews, and field records. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the self-efficacy of grade VIII students was divided into three, namely high, medium, and low. Students with high self-efficacy categories have high mathematical communication skills. Students with the category of self-efficacy have mathematical communication skills that are classified as moderate, with low self-efficacy categories have relatively low mathematical communication skills.
