An optimum delta modulation strategy for inverter operation 一种用于逆变器运行的最佳增量调制策略

An improved PWM inverter waveform synthesis technique for harmonic control in delta modulation (DM) process is presented. Filtering approach is incorporated in the DM technique to reduce harmonics of lower frequencies and suppress the unwanted subharmonics. Analytical method is described to determine the performance of multistage delta modulated inverter and the results are substantiated by experimental verification.

Conducted interference voltage of AC-DC converters 交直流变换器的传导干扰电压

In this article an analytical method for calculating the conducted interference voltages of the three basic ac-dc converters buck, boost and buck-boost with sinusoidal input current and unity power factor is presented. The analysis includes a simulation of the quasi-peak measurement according to CISPR (Comité International Spécial des Perturbations Radioélectriques). The influence of the different circuit parameters is investigated and the validity is confirmed by experimental results.

Harmonic current compensator composed of static power converter 由静态功率变换器组成的谐波电流补偿器

A new harmonic current compensator composed of a static power converter was developed. It is composed of two voltage-type inverters in a multiplex configuration, this new compensator has a number of features that make it superior to the conventional passive filter composed of an AC reactor and a capacitor. This paper describes the principle of harmonic current compensation, the capability which the converter is required to have as compensator, the compensator's features and a trial production equipment. The important factor which are essential to a compensator, such as main circuit configuration, components, control circuit, control technique, etc. were discussed. Also the test results of a compensation characteristic were presented. Excellent characteristics of the new harmonic current compensator were verified through an experiment.

A modified version of the series resonant DC/DC converter which provides low di/dt and increased turn-off time to its switches is analyzed. A simple dynamic simulation which uses little computer time and a steady-state solution are found. Experimental verification is provided.

This paper examines the properties of a new power MOSFET operating as a depletion-mode device and used as a synchronous rectifier in a low-voltage, current-mode-control PWM switching regulator. The performance of this device is compared to both a Schottky diode and an enhancement-mode power MOSFET. A comparison of the efficiencies obtained for the three cases is presented.

Thyristor-controlled phase-shifters for AC transmission 交流传输用晶闸管控制移相器

A novel scheme for four-quadrant thyristor-controlled static phase-shifters is presented. The technical feasibility of the proposed phase-shifter for damping power system torsional oscillations is examined. An optimization procedure is introduced to obtain the maximum damping for power system oscillations, by determining the optimum phase angle and magnitude of the phase-shifter out-put voltage. An eigenvalue analysis method is used to investigate the damping effect of the phase-shifter on the torsional phenonenon. The studies are performed on the first IEEE benchmark for SSR studies. The analytical results are verified by detailed digital computer simulation studies, using the BPA's Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP). The investigation results demonstrate the technical feasibility of the four-quadrant phase-shifter for damping the torsional oscillations, as a result of small signal disturbances.

With the introduction and wide acceptance of gate turn off power devices (e.g. Bipolars, Power Fets, GTO's, etc.), the switching behavior of converters has reached the point where further improvements in firing and switching networks bring only marginal benefits. Consequently, the research interests in the area of static converters have been shifting toward improving the process of power conversion through a combination of new circuit topologies and improved voltage and harmonic control PWM techniques. As a result several such techniques have been proposed lately.
