Computer-aided choice of digital PWM strategies 数字PWM策略的计算机辅助选择

The goal of this study is to define the optimal PWM strategy adapted to a given variable-speed induction motor drive. A complete set of simulation programs performs steady-state and transient analysis of wave-forms. Some original PWM modes have been implemented on two digital modulators.

Coupled-inductor analysis and design 耦合电感分析与设计

A new coupled-inductor multiple air-gap structure is proposed and analyzed. These EI and EE core configurations eliminate many of the problems associated with the earlier single air-gap structures such as: high sensitivity of ripple currents to air-gap and/or turns ratio changes, complex winding arrangements and consequent high costs and inferior thermal characteristics. To facilitate the design, critical leakage parameter I is evaluated for a whole line of EI and EE cores.

Turn-on principles of MOS-GTO MOS-GTO的开启原理

MOS-GTOs represent a new generation of turn-off thyristors offering considerable advantages in the turn-off behaviour as compared to conventional GTOs. However, MOS-GTOs generally require two control electrodes for turn-on, which might be regarded as a disadvantage. This paper shows that in MOS-GTOs with a p-channel cathode structure it is possible to turn the thyristor on and off by controlling only just one MOS gate electrode. As a triggering current for turn-on the MOS capacitance displacement current is used. MOS-GTOs with current gain βnpn = 30 and gate delay times of tgd = 8 µs were realized. Turn-on occurs homogeneously over the entire device. One-dimensional simulations indicate that thyristors with tgd = 1 µs can be realized, provided that βnpn 100.

Switching behaviour of a BIMOS switching stage BIMOS交换级的交换行为

The switching behaviour of a BIMOS switching stage is investigated, taking into account the most important parasitic network and device parameters. Its short-circuit behaviour is also discussed and ways of improving it are presented. The power range is expanded by connecting power MOSFETs in parallel and extending the switching behaviour of the Darlington stage. The parallel-switching of FETs is also analysed. Possible ways of reducing dynamic and static losses are discussed in a power-loss treatment.

Current monitoring in power electronic equipment with GTO-thyristors gto晶闸管在电力电子设备中的电流监测

The application of GTO-thyristors requires special short-circuit protection equipment. A simple method based on the proportionality of turn-off current and storage time of a GTO is shown to protect GTO-thyristors against turn-off failure during a short circuit. Additionally, this method can be employed for overload protection, failure diagnosis and current monitoring.

An investigation of the dynamic effects of coupled output chokes on multiple output buck converters reveals the potential presence of two zeros in the plant equation. These zeros can have a significant effect on the loop dynamics of the converter depending upon the relative turns ratios of the transformer and the coupled choke.

Analysis and design of a high frequency resonant converter using LCC type commutation LCC型换相高频谐振变换器的分析与设计

The modeling, analysis and design of a high-frequency resonant converter using LCC type commutation circuit is presented. Constant current model and State space approach are used for the analysis. Closed form solutions are derived for the inverter under steady state conditions. Experimental results obtained from a prototype converter under different loading conditions are compared with the theory.

Analysis of the static and dynamic characteristics of push-pull parallel resonant converters 推挽并联谐振变换器静、动态特性分析

The basic circuit of a push-pull parallel resonant converter with an input inductor is analyzed for the continuous conduction mode and the discontinuous conduction mode concerning the output-inductor current. It is found that the output voltage of this resonant converter is controlled by varying the switching frequency in the discontinuous conduction mode, while another power controller is required in the continuous conduction mode. The static and dynamic characteristics are examined analytically and experimenta1ly.

Backward-noise generation in dc-to-dc converters dc- dc变换器中的后向噪声产生

The generation mechanism of backward noise is analyzed for a forward dc-to-dc converter. Here the backward noise is defined as the switching noise which flows back to input terminals. Its generation process consists of several states and there are two modes depending on the characteristics of the switching elements used in the converter. The analysis is performed by deriving the high-frequency equivalent circuit corresponding to each state. The equivalent circuits include the parameters associated with the switching speed of a transistor and the recovery characteristics of a diode as well as inductive and capacitive parasitic parameters. As the result, the effects of these parameters on the backward noise are made clear quantitatively.

Calculation of flux linkages in multiwinding transformers 多绕组变压器磁链的计算

Numerous power electronic applications necessitate the use of multiwinding transformers. Transformers having n windings per phase have (n−1)2 leakage inductances. Of these, n−1 are self inductances, the rest are mutuals. This paper presents an equivalent circuit for the multiwinding transformer and outlines a method of calculating the leakage inductances for a given transformer of specified winding structure and dimensions. Examples are presented illustrating the effect of winding arrangements on the leakage inductances.
