Bilingual Children’s Language Development: The Influence of Parental Strategic Input on Vocabulary Development 双语儿童语言发展:父母策略输入对词汇发展的影响

Bilingual development of children who grow up in dual language environment is often the biggest concern of their parents. In bilingual families, most children grow up to speak the majority language very well, but some may have problems using the minority language, which is usually their ethnic language. However, there are also some children who managed to master both languages well when they grow up, which leads to the following questions: why do some bilingual children can successfully master two languages, while others can't? What are their differences? And what are their methods? Last but not least, what methods can help children who grow up in a bilingual environment to better develop their bilingual learning? This is the topic to be discussed in this paper. We would record the exposure time of children in two languages, and analyze the data to explore the impact of language exposure time on children's bilingual learning. We would also use Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test to compare the receptive vocabulary size of children in families who use two different types of language learning methods, one is the “one-language-one-parent” method, and the other is the “two-parent-one-language” approach, so as to explore the effectiveness of these two different learning methods for bilingual learning and development. We expected the “two-parents-one-language” method to be more effective. The significance of this study is to help bilingual children to find better ways to learn their two languages. It also provides a reference for parents and educators who are anxious to find suitable learning methods. This study can help them objectively deal with the experimental results and choose more appropriate methods for their children.

The Theory and Application in Agile Project Management (APM) with Scrum 基于Scrum的敏捷项目管理(APM)理论与应用

This paper aims to use the idea of “agile” in project management to possibly avoid failure in projects for technology companies. Agile project management (APM) is a kind of new management method to keep stability and flexibility for managing innovation projects. The Scrum is one of the APM methodologies that creates collaborative and productive aspects between customers and developer. Practical applications apply the Scrum model with scrum roles and processes in accordance with theories. This method could reduce the loss for shelf-life products in Brazilian pharmaceutical company. In addition, it could be found high visibility and adaption, low risk in financial management government projects by this management approach. There are still some difficulties such as the unfamiliarity of this innovative method and lack of technical knowledge and experience.

Investigating the Equity of Access When Comparing Migrant and Local Students 外来学生与本地学生入学公平比较研究

This paper reviews the disadvantageous position of migrant students in urban areas since numerous people hold a wrong notion that migrant students are so fortunate to go to urban schools and accept relatively more developed instructions on schoolwork. However, there are still many barriers for migrant students to have equal access to quality education as local urban students. This paper will investigate external and psychological factors contributing to this situation and illustrate the possible influence on migrant students. First, in terms of external factors, it is common for migrant students to be discriminated against by local citizens. Secondly, some migrant students attending local migrant schools are threatened by the weak teachers. In addition, the absence of parental care in children’s growth results in some behavioral problems, and the lack of parental supervision in schoolwork tends to cultivate many unhealthy study habits. Regarding migrant students’ psychological condition, they are inclined to have some mental problems. The inferiority complex is a negative mental state of migrant students due to the contrast between rural life standard and urban life standard, and loneliness is mainly caused by insufficient interactions between migrant students and local citizens. Moreover, the identification problem mirrors migrant students’ distinct definitions of their identity. Overall, the disadvantages curbs migrant students’ integration into the urban society, and in the long-run, their future development.

A Derivative of Milgram’s Paradigm—— Obedience to a Classroom Authority from an Asian Perspective 米尔格拉姆范式的衍生——亚洲视角下的课堂权威服从

This paper centers on an experiment which testifies the varying degrees to which students under distinct modes of education conform to a classroom authority from an Asian-centric perspective, a derivative of Stanley Milgram’s ex-periment on the varying degrees of obedience people exhibit when confronting with an ethical dilemma. In this study, students are categorized into four different groups based on the type of education they have so far received, and they were asked to participate in both seat-changing activities and post-experimental investigations as a means of measuring their degrees of conformity to their teachers. A 2 Samp T-Test was conducted, proving that students who come from a Gaokao-oriented education would exhibit more obedience towards an epistemic authority than their peers who have been immersed in an international education; however, evidence suggests that cultural variations do not play a significant role here. The Milgram Paradigm on the topic “Obedience to Authority” is renowned, whereas such experiments that center on education are rare, not to mention from an Asian perspective. Therefore, this paper hopefully provides a new insight into the topic “obedience, authority, and education” with an Asian focus.

Against the backdrop of advanced network technology, the learning styles and approaches of college students have been developing in a progressive manner, and the online teaching in particular has grown into a new norm. In the process of online teaching, college students’ lack of planning, supervision and interaction leads to their insufficient learning motivation and poor learning effect. Exploration and Practice of Smart Classroom in Colleges and Universities 高校智慧课堂的探索与实践

In view of the deficiencies in the current teaching of electronic and communication courses in colleges and universities, taking the course of antenna and radio wave propagation as an example, the research and construction of smart classroom are carried out. Firstly, the concept of smart classroom is explained. Secondly, the course content of antenna and radio wave communication are summarized. Thirdly, the system of smart classroom in three aspects of teachers, content and platform are constructed. Fourthly, three stages of the implementation of smart classroom before, during and after class are listed. Lastly, corresponding teaching methods are given. Compared with the traditional teaching mode, under the intelligent classroom teaching mode, students have more interest in learning, more participation and better learning effect. The construction of antenna and radio wave propagation smart classroom provides guidance and reference value for the teaching mode reform of electronic and communication specialty in colleges and universities.

Analysis and Suggestions on the Management of Epidemic Prevention and Control 对疫情防控管理的分析与建议

COVID-19 outbreak occurred in spring 2020, China launched a series of measures in a timely manner, and the epidemic situation was controlled in April 2020. COVID-19 is still raging around other countries and regions. Such as Singapore, Germany and other places, the epidemic has not been effectively controlled. The following will analyze the reasons for the rapid control of the epidemic in China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the successful experience of the first stage of epidemic prevention and control in Singapore, and the reasons for the failure of control measures in Singapore and Germany. Based on the management theory, this paper analyzes the prevention and control experience of various countries, discusses new management ideas and measures, and provides reference for the prevention and control of epidemic situation in various countries.

The Impact of RMB Exchange Rate Changes on the Import and Export Trade of China’s Textile and Clothing Industry: An Empirical Analysis Based on the Data from 2000 to 2019 人民币汇率变动对中国纺织服装业进出口贸易的影响——基于2000 - 2019年数据的实证分析

With the low-cost advantage of the textile and clothing industry gradually weakened, the impact of RMB exchange rate changes on the import and export of China's textile and clothing industry has become increasingly significant. In this paper, we use cointegration method to analyze the impact of RMB exchange rate changes on the import and export of China's textile and clothing industry. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between the real effective exchange rate and import and export, and the real effective exchange rate has a greater impact on the export. In addition, there is also a mutually reinforcing relationship between imports and exports.
随着纺织服装行业的低成本优势逐渐减弱,人民币汇率变动对中国纺织服装行业进出口的影响日益显著。本文采用协整方法分析人民币汇率变动对中国纺织服装业进出口的影响。结果表明,实际有效汇率与进出口之间存在显著的正相关关系,且实际有效汇率对出口的影响更大。此外,进口和出口之间也存在一种相辅相成的关系。
