The population of the elderly in Taiwan has been growing rapidly. Compared with cities, the healthcare and medical resources in rural areas are still limited, and this condition is still overlooked. Aiming to understand the role a small-town pharmacy plays in the development of therapeutic innovation, this study examined particular effects of medicine on patients and their illnesses in a small town in Kaohsiung. Qualitative research methods as unstructured interviews, coding, and observations were included. The findings of the study showed that both the elderly and the youngest people suffered from muscle aches as well as body aches. Furthermore, the research results revealed that the Heart Transformation Workshop at the target pharmacy enhanced the patients' bodies, and spiritual levels.

Automated diagnosis of various skin lesion diseases through medical dermoscopy images is still a very challenging task. In this work, an integrated model for segmentation of skin lesion boundaries and classification of skin lesions is proposed by cascading novel deep learning networks. In the first stage, a novel full resolution convolutional networks (FrCN) is utilized to segment the boundaries of skin lesions from dermoscopy images. Then, the segmented lesions are passed into a deep residual networks (i.e., ResNet-50) for classification. The pre-segmentation process enables ResNet-50 to extract more specific and representative features from skin lesions and use them for improved classification. We have tested and evaluated our diagnostic deep model for skin lesions using the publicly available International Skin Imaging Collaboration (ISIC) 2017 challenge dataset which contains three different skin diseases: benign, seborrheic keratosis, and melanoma. The integrated model exhibits its capability to segment the skin lesions with an overall accuracy of 94.03% and an average Jaccard similarity index of 77.11% via FrCN. Meanwhile, the overall prediction accuracy and F1-score of multiple skin lesions classification task via ResNet-50 achieved 81.57% and 75.75%, respectively. The integrated model could be utilized as a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system for dermatology.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the emotions implied in the form of bentwood chairs, and to understand the design features of the product, for helping the planning of the future development of the market, and letting more people familiar with the beauty of bentwood chair. Based on the three levels of emotional design (visceral level, behavior level and reflection level), this study analyzed users' perception of products. The questionnaire survey and the focus groups method were employed to obtain the survey samples, and then the semantic differential method was used to understand the relationship between the bentwood chairs form and emotional vocabulary. The data were statistically analyzed by factor analysis and cluster analysis. The results of the survey were presented in the image map of cross analysis. The image of bentwood chair form was further analyzed and the design trend of bentwood chair was observed. The characteristics of bentwood chairs found out in this study were as follows. 1. The style of bentwood chairs was both plain and modern. 2. The overall form of bentwood chairs tended to be curry and streamline. 3. The overall satisfaction with the comfort and practicality of bentwood chairs was low. 4. The usage environment of bentwood chairs mostly tended to be leisure. 5. The consumer preferences for the design of bentwood chair with explicit style were not easy to change over time.

With global climate change and rainfall anomalies, especially in the process of economic development and industrialization, the water pollution and water shortage issues have led to lots related studies and discussions. The water purifier is a clean drinking water source for the general public. This study focuses on the above problems, developed a new type of mini check valve, changed the food grade silicone material, and carried out product development and manufacturing feasibility studies through a self-designed simple miniature silicone injection machine. The check valve structure of this study is a simple design, easy to produce, low in cost, and; easy to use and replace, which helps to increase product value and market share. By developing this new check valve, it can be extended to biomedical, marine, medical and other applications. In addition to being suitable for domestic and commercial drinking water machines, the technology platform could be extended to develop mini check valve structures in related fields of biomedical microfluidic fluid control for further research.

This paper focused on the humanoid robot walking using the control method for the stable mobility during walking process. To be able to walk stably in various environments, the system constructed with a 32-bit microcontroller integrated circuits by STMicroelectronics (STM32) and servo controllers to control the mobility of foot, and the pressure senor under the foot for the gait analysis to track the actual dynamic center of gravity (COM) during walking process. To maintain the robot's walking stability, it is necessary to consider the ground conditions, and the requires torso motion and velocity of the joint actuators. By varying the foot motion parameters, the robot can produce different foot motion to adapt the environment conditions, but there is an error between expected and actual output. This paper proposes a method to correct errors on the actuator specifications using the adaptive fuzzy controller to maintain the robot's walking stability with the ground conditions and the foot motion parameters under the small requires torso motion and velocity of the joint actuators.

With the parameters of a bus as the prototype and fuel cells and rechargeable batteries as the hybrid power, parameters of the bus motor, the fuel motor and the rechargeable battery were calculated and matched on consideration of the characteristics of fuel cells and rechargeable batteries as well as power demands under different working conditions, such as start, acceleration, climbing and braking. On guaranteeing definite total power of the bus, it was calculated that the optimal hybrid ratio of fuel cells and rechargeable batteries was 0.4, that is, the power of the fuel cell was about 50kw while that of the lithium battery was 70kw when the efficiency of the bus was the optimal.

Wayang Kulit which is made of cowhide and controlled by bamboo sticks is the most traditional folk custom in the Malaysian shadow play in the area. It's similar to Chinese traditional shadow play. The content of the main performance of the Malaysia Wayang Kulit is based on the works of Indian literature in order to understand the world and themselves. However, the dilemma which we encountered is that the performance forms are more traditional and conservative. The main storybooks are too old to attract young people. Now we are making progress on the technology and interactive media and also creating a new performance model. So The Fusion Wayang Kulit founder - Tintoy Chuo uses the innovative elements of Star Wars to deduce new forms of performance content. Therefore, in this study I want to use Leap Motion sensor to combined with Unity 3D program, and refer the traditional Wayang Kulit to design innovative characters. The interactive system is based on experiential learning theory to construct learning content and simulate interactive game mode. This study will summarize the research results to provide the basis and reference for the future related traditional shadow puppet and Technology-assisted teaching.

In this study, the output of bicycle is a kind of dynamic link output, bicycle movement has certain inertia, its change will not jump at any time, but the speed command is jumping. Therefore, when the initial error of the system is large, in order to achieve the tracking effect, the system will produce a large overshoot, resulting in a large initial impact. In view of this, in order to reduce the initial error and overshoot of the system, a suitable Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) structure is designed in this paper. The nonlinear tracking differentiator is used to arrange the transition process, and the nonlinear extended observer is used to carry out the nonlinear PID controller to realize the automatic transmission of bicycles. Experiments prove that using proximity switch to detect the number of rotation cycles of bicycle pedal in fixed time as system count, feedback with speed sensor, and using single chip controller as PID control theory to drive DC motor to adjust the gear of bicycle transmission, and to improve the accuracy of gear transmission, can make riding bicycle more labor-saving. With the improvement of safety, in order to achieve the purpose of bicycle automatic transmission design.
