Modeling, control and simulation of grid-connected PV system with D-STATCOM 基于D-STATCOM的并网光伏系统建模、控制与仿真

Due to the national subsidy policy and the demand of energy, photovoltaic power generation is growing at a rapid rate all over the world. When new PV installations connect to utility grid, some problems, such as reactive power compensation, voltage stability and power quality, are around the corner. This paper presents a grid-connected PV simulation system with D-STATCOM. By using Matlab/Simulink for modeling PV system, this paper shows I-V and P-V characteristics of PV array, and uses D-STATCOM as the grid-connected converter to realize power coordination, voltage stabilizing and power quality improvement. The basic control strategy is dual-close-loop control strategy. By decoupling active power and reactive power, inner loop control algorithm is used to trace active power and reactive power current separately. Meanwhile, outer loop regulates DC link voltage and grid-connected voltage. The simulation result shows that PV system with D-STATCOM can output active power stably, keep grid-connected voltage steady, and improve power quality of output voltage and current.

Dynamic obstacle avoidance path planning 动态避障路径规划

This paper proposes an image-based parallel lines distance measurement system (IBPLDMS), which is capable of executing an obstacle-detection and obstacle-avoidance path planning in a dynamic environment. The proposed IBPLDMS contains an image processing unit and an obstacle-avoidance unit. The image processing unit preprocesses captured images for an obstacle-avoidance task, in which the images are processed by the procedures of the grayscale transform, image morphologies, canny edge detection, connected-component labeling, and Hough transform. According to the definition of standard parallel lines, the obstacle-avoidance path for robots can be determined in the real time. Note that for the proposed IBPLDMS, only one webcam and the definition of the standard parallel lines are necessary for preparing for the setup. From the experimental results, we prove the proposed method is effective.

A new parameter-dependent Lyapunov function approach for robust control 一种新的参数相关Lyapunov函数鲁棒控制方法

In this paper, we extends the existing results on the H∞ control for continuous-time T-S (Takagi-Sugeno) fuzzy systems. A new fuzzy Lyapunov function is considered for ensuring system stability and guaranteed H∞ performance with parallel distributed compensation (PDC). In addition, two slack variables are introduced to provide extra free dimensions in the solution space for the H∞ control problem. This together with the freedom provided by the fuzzy Lyapunov function directly leads to performance improvement and reduction of conservativeness. A numerical example of the control of an inverted pendulum and cart system is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Comparisons with some of the existing methods are provided.

Nash-optimization enhanced distributed model predictive control for VAV air conditioning system 变风量空调系统的纳什优化增强分布式模型预测控制

This paper presents an efficient distributed model predictive control scheme based on Nash optimality for a single-duct VAV air conditioning system. An internal model has been built by analyzing the working mechanism and the dynamics of the system and the whole system is decomposed into four sub-systems based on distributed predictive control strategy. MPC solves a constrained convex quadratic Nash optimization by defining weighting factors and constraint limits for each local MPC. Simulation results demonstrate that the performance of the Nash-optimization enhanced distributed MPC is better than that of the fully decentralized MPC, and is close to that of the centralized MPC.

Achieving evenly distributed sensor lifetime in large scale wireless sensor networks 在大规模无线传感器网络中实现均匀分布的传感器寿命

In certain large scale wireless sensor networks, massive tiny sensors are deployed in a big area. For systems at this scale, it is difficult to setup sensors individually. In other words, a higher system level approach is required to perform sensor deployment and study overall energy consumption. Sensors need to be produced, configured, deployed, maintained, analyzed, and replenished as groups. One approach is to separate out the data forwarding job to routers. In this paper we complete our previous work on deploying the routers such that they wear out with a uniformed distribution. It is a simple deployment method where the density is simply based on the size of the area whose data will be relayed by these nodes. Without routing work, sensors will then also wear out with a uniformed distribution. Extensive simulation experiments are conducted to show that our deployment approach can dramatically extend the lifetime of the network while maintain a low router-sensor ratio and an even power consumption rate of both the sensors and routers.

Double signal double display intersection vehicle terminal system for parking navigation 双信号双显示交叉口车辆导航终端系统

Aiming at the problem of the driving and parking difficulties in the more and more complicated urban traffic, the double signal double display (DSDD) intersection vehicle terminal system is proposed for parking navigation. This system is to use the intelligent terminal, vehicle terminal, and vehicle of internet (VOI) and to realize the parking information interaction. In addition, in order to improve the navigation accuracy will be introduce the space maze module that is simulation maze module and instant maze module. The simulation maze module planning the different target route and instant maze module choice and determine the real-time path navigation by the intelligent terminal and on-board navigator. The system will display the target route and real-time path through their channel respectively on the intelligent terminal and vehicle terminal, and to realize the whole process of target parking navigation and according to the target parking lot to guide the real-time path navigation step by step. In order to improve the parking navigation accuracy the system provides effective technical means and to avoid the navigation error, and using the parking management information sharing platform meet customers to the convenient degree in parking navigation.

The realization of cyclic serial port communication based on LabVIEW 基于LabVIEW的循环串口通信的实现

The paper firstly introduces the communication interface protocol between train positioning system and vehicle security computer (VSC), which is used in the development of semi-physical simulation system for high-speed maglev traffic. And then the paper expands the realization of Master-Slave cyclic serial port communication programs with industrial personal computer (IPC) as system simulation machine and LabVIEW2013 as the development tool. It is proved that the realized programs can satisfy the requirements in the protocol and guarantee the stability and reliability of communication.

Capacity assignment of the production lines with consideration of equilibrium requirement in iron & steel complex 考虑平衡要求的钢铁综合企业生产线产能分配

This paper concerns the production line capacity assignment problem with consideration of equilibrium requirement, which sources from the practical production management. The problem is to determine the utilized capacity of each production line in the iron & steel complex in order to make the load of each production line equilibrated and keep the logistics between production lines straightway. To tackle this problem, a mathematical programming model is formulated. Then the quadratic objective function is linearized to obtain a linear programming model which can be optimally solved by CPLEX. Finally, the experiment results based on real operational data have been done to illustrate the efficiency of the algorithm.

A fuzzy approach to evaluating the risk of dementia by analyzing the cortical thickness from MRI 通过分析MRI皮质厚度来评估痴呆风险的模糊方法

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia which affects individuals of elderly. Reports indicated that there is an increase of AD cases in aged societies. The real causes of AD remain mysterious where the current medication can only be used to delay, not to cure, the disease. Our research aims to study the disease by giving a preliminary evaluation of the brain status of the patient by applying the fuzzy theory. Since the literature reports that subjects with increasing learning and memory impairments present a thinner cortical thickness, our study has previously focused on evaluating the brain cortex taken from Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) tests. The developed fuzzy system is now able to monitor separately left and right brain hemispheres so to monitor the thinnest side of the brain. Moreover, the proposed fuzzy model can better define the boundaries between possible outcomes (MCI, Healthy or Schizophrenia). Experimental results are given to verify the applicability of the presented work.
