The purpose of this study was to investigate at postgraduate theses on "problem behavior" written between 2000 and 2020 in the departments of preschool education and child development and education. According to the established criteria, a total of 64 theses have been identified in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education (CHE), 56 of which are master's theses and 8 of which are doctoral dissertations. In accordance with the pur1pose of the research, the study was conducted in the case study design, data were collected by examining the documents, descriptive analysis, and content analysis were used in data analysis. It has been observed that 44 of the postgraduate theses on problem behavior were written in the field of pre-school science and 20 in the field of child development and education. It was determined that 86 percent of theses were written in 2010 and in the subsequent years (n = 55). In general, the relationship between individual characteristics of children (social skills, self-regulation, social-emotional development, communication, empathy, cognitive skills, temperament, etc) and problem behaviors was mostly discussed in postgraduate theses. Moreover, relationships between problem behaviors and family (parental attitudes, interests, discipline, etc.), teacher (behavior management, communication, adaptation, etc.), and peer variables were attempted to be determined. Finally, the effects of three different educational programs and play therapy on children's problem behaviors were investigated, and it was found that these programs and therapy reduced problem behaviors in children. In 62.5% (40) of the postgraduate theses, the problem behaviors of children were compared according to their gender. In 77.5% (31) of these theses, it was reported that boys exhibited problem behaviors more than girls.

In this study, the effect of self-regulation skills and whether the self-regulation skills differed according to gender and grade level variables on the participation and completion of the distance education lessons of secondary school students were investigated during the pandemic process. The study group of the research consisted of 584 girls (52.9%) and 520 boys (47.1%), totally 1104 students who were studying at secondary schools in Trabzon during the 2020-2021 academic year. The data were obtained with the personal information form and perceived self-regulation scale. T-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey test were used in the analysis of the data obtained. As a result of the analyzes which were made, it was observed that the self-regulation skills of female students were higher than male students, and their self-regulation skills did not differ according to the grade level. Also, it was observed that the self-regulation skills of the students who always attended the distance education courses were higher than the students who did not attend the courses occasionally or not at all. It is thought that the findings will contribute to the studies that will be carried out for the course attendance of students in the distance education process and the completion of the courses which they have attended.

Bu çalışma Bilim ve Sanat Merkezlerine devam eden özel yetenekli öğrencilerin ’’Müdür” kavramına yönelik sahip oldukları algıları metaforlar aracılığıyla ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgubilim desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın verileri 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında, Şanlıurfa Bilim ve Sanat Merkezinde eğitim görmekte olan 24 kız, 30 erkek toplam 54 özel yetenekli öğrenciden toplanmıştır. Veriler, öğrencilerce “Müdür...….…gibidir. Çünkü……....…” ifadesini tamamlamasıyla elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre özel yetenekli öğrenciler “Müdür” kavramı için 54 geçerli metafor üretmiştir. Özel yetenekli öğrenciler tarafından oluşturulan metaforlar benzerlik yönlerine göre kategorileştirildiğinde 8 kategori elde edilmiştir. Bu kategoriler; ‘’Varlığı Belli Olmayan Unsur Olarak Müdür’’, ‘’Üretkenlik Unsuru Olarak Müdür’’, ‘’Danışman-Yol Gösterici Liderlik Unsuru Olarak Müdür’’, ‘’Değerli Unsur Olarak Müdür’’, ‘’Ciddiyet-Kural Unsuru Olarak Müdür’’, ‘’Koruyucu Unsur Olarak Müdür’’, ‘’Sorun çözen ve gerekli ve Gerekli Unsur Olarak Müdür’’ ve ‘’Sertlik-Otorite Unsuru Olarak Müdür’’ şeklinde belirlenmiştir Çıkan sonuçlara göre de yapılan çıkarımlar ve tartışmalar makale sonunda paylaşılmıştır.
