Decluttering the Internet with Article Summarization, Classification, and Recommendation using Natural Language Processing 使用自然语言处理的文章摘要、分类和推荐整理互联网

The explosion of information available on the internet has led to an overwhelming amount of data that is available to users. The ability to efficiently consume and comprehend this information is crucial for productivity and knowledge expansion. However, only a few of researches focus on providing e-readers not only with comprehensive classification but also relevant recommendations based on the reader's history. The paper has been implemented in pursuit of facilitating the consumption of information with increased coherency and efficiency, leading to a proliferation in productivity in the fields of both professional and informal research using an easy-to-use web-based dashboard, the project works in 3 broad tenets. BERT Algorithm (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) for information summarization, followed by Latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) Algorithm for text classification and Collaborative filtering for recommending further articles for the user's knowledge expansion.

Importance of storage devices in frequency stability improvement of an AC Microgrid 存储装置在提高交流微电网频率稳定性中的重要性

Microgrids are the source of electrical power which generally provides electrical power to a small geographical area where electrification by utility grid too difficult. The microgrid is distribution level grid which is associated with different small rated power generating units such as wind plant, solar plant, micro-turbine, fuel cell along with various emerging accumulating units like battery, ultra capacitor and flywheels. The renewable energy based power generating station like wind power system and solar PV system are weather dependent for generating respective power. Under load dynamics, wind fluctuation, solar intensity variation, microgrid performance especially frequency degrades seriously/ So installation of power storing devices try to suppress the frequency disturbance and maintains steady performance with suitable controlling actions. In control point of view, this work has adopted a novel sine cosine algorithm structured Fuzzy fractional order controller (FFOC) to obtain stable performance of the system under various conditions.

LDCT Image Reconstruction on Edge Attention Graph Convolutional Network with Perceptual Loss and LoDoPaB-CT 基于感知损失和LoDoPaB-CT的边缘注意图卷积网络LDCT图像重建

Image reconstruction performs a protruding role in medical image analysis. Low-Dose CT (LDCT) scan images are a common diagnostic procedure to identify diseases in the human body. Recent scanners follow deep learning-based post-processing methods for low-dose imaging. Low-dose CT image reconstruction techniques deteriorate image quality, which has an impact on a physician's diagnosis. Therefore, this paper introduces a novel LDCT image reconstruction method based on the edge attention technique utilized in graph convolutional neural networks. The quality of the outcomes is measured through the perceptual loss function. Experimental assessments are shown on the LoDoPaB-CT benchmark dataset. It is demonstrated that the proposed method produced an improved high-quality image compared to both traditional and deep learning-based reconstruction methods qualitatively and quantitatively.

Energy Efficient Improving Routing Model for UAVs Assisted Vehicular Adhoc Networks 无人机辅助车载自组网的节能改进路由模型

Vehicular Adhoc Networks (VANETs) have widespread applications in intelligent transportation systems, serving diverse purposes. These networks are characterized by their dynamic nature, which unfortunately leads to communication instability, causing increased energy consumption, delays, and routing overhead. To overcome obstacles at ground level, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are introduced, enabling data transmission through an aerial medium, free from ground-level obstructions. However, for effective communication in UAV-assisted VANETs, a reliable routing protocol is essential. This paper proposes an improved routing model for UAV-assisted VANETs, called IUAVA-RP, which employs parameter-based routing and optimal path selection. The optimal path selection is performed using a decision-making process, resulting in highly effective and optimal routing for efficient data transmission. The proposed IUAVA-RP protocol is simulated using NS2 and SUMO, and its performance analysis includes parameters such as: energy efficiency, packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, and routing overhead. Comparative analysis is conducted with two existing protocols, HGFA-RP and AOMDV-RP. The results demonstrate that the proposed IUAVA-RP protocol achieves higher energy efficiency and packet delivery ratio, as well as lower end-to-end delay and routing overhead compared to the earlier protocols.

Performance Enhancement of UAV-Assisted Wireless Communication Using the MVC Channel Estimation Algorithm in a Diamond-Shaped Network Topology 在菱形网络拓扑下利用MVC信道估计算法增强无人机辅助无线通信性能

Amalgamation of coding and spatial diversity have led to new aspects in the field of wireless communications, with a focus on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and can provide impactful solutions for wireless communication channels. The use of Alamouti Space-Time Block Codes (STBCs) with diversity and many antennas improves performance in fading wireless channels. The demand for UAVs is rising day by day as they can easily reach at places where humans reach with utmost difficulty, and hence they are highly useful in military applications and disaster management. In this paper, we perform routing in a diamond-shaped network topology having four UAVs in a heterogeneous channel condition- we consider Rayleigh channel as ‘bad state model’ and Ricean channel as ‘good state model’. At first, routing is performed in the aforementioned scenario without using any channel estimation algorithm and next, we perform routing in the same scenario but this time using a channel estimation algorithm for BPSK using the STBC codes and multiple-antenna system. Eventually, we compare and analyze the results obtained and find that the routing performance gets enhanced when the maximum Versoria criterion (MVC) channel estimation algorithm is used.

Water Cycle Optimization Technique-based IDDF Controller for Frequency Regulation of Interconnected Power System with HVDC Line 基于水循环优化技术的直流电网变频IDDF控制器

In this paper, the frequency regulation of two areas' non-linear thermal hydro (TANLTH) system is assessed subjected to the perturbation of 10% step load (10%SLP) on area-1. Integral (I)-double derivative (DD) plus filter (IDDF) is designed using the water cycle optimization technique (WCOT) as a secondary regulator is presented whose efficacy is established with other regulators. However, the IDDF controller tuning with WCOT is performed concerning integral square error (ISE). Moreover, the analysis on TANL TH is executed by believing the realistic constraint of communication time delays (CTDs) for obtaining the analysis close to realistic practice. Further, the T ANL TH is provided with a high-voltage DC line (HVDC) for attaining better dynamical performance.

PID and FOPID Controller Based SEPIC and Cuk Converter for PFC 基于SEPIC和Cuk转换器的PFC PID和FOPID控制器

This paper provides a comparative performance analysis of two power factor correction (PFC) converter topology, namely the Cuk and SEPIC converter. The Hysteresis Current Control (HCC) approach is engaged in the input of the PFC. However, for controlling the output voltage, methods like Fractional Order Proportional Integral and Derivative Controller (FOPIDC) or Conventional Proportional Integral Derivative Controller (PIDC) is used. The analysis of both the converters is performed using MATLAB/Simulink tool and the proposed topologies are surveyed under steady state and dynamic state conditions.

However, for controlling the output voltage, methods like Fractional Order Proportional Integral and Derivative Controller (FOPIDC) or Conventional Proportional Integral Derivative Controller (PIDC) is used. Use of Modified S-Transform for EEG Artifact Removal 基于改进s变换的脑电信号伪影去除

Stock-well transform (ST) as an effective tool for time-frequency analysis has been utilized for some decades. However, its application on artifact removal is a new direction in biomedical research. In this paper, the authors tried to eliminate the artifact from the brain signal. The brain signal is collected from Mendeley and the PhysioNet database. The ST is modified by considering the orthonormal property of the signal along with the symmetric property. The modified orthonormal S transform (MOST) preserves the non-redundant samples of the signal, similar to application of discrete orthonormal S transform (DOST). Further, the artifacts are removed well, keeping the conjugate symmetry property so that low frequency EEG signal is reconstructed as original signal. For the comparative analysis DWT, DCT, ST, and DOST are also verified, and found that the proposed MOST technique well performs as compared to other transform-based methods with low complexity of $O (N log N)$ similar to the DFT computation.

Semantic Segmentation of Gastrointestinal Tract using UNet Model with ResNet 18 Backbone 基于UNet模型的胃肠道语义分割

Every year, the number of people diagnosed with gastrointestinal (GI) cancer rise. There will be about 5 million new patients with GI cancer this year. Radiation treatment is the gold standard in the biomedical sector for treating gastrointestinal cancer. An X-ray beam is directed towards the tumor while protecting surrounding healthy tissue in radiation treatment. Manually segmenting healthy organs can be time-consuming and error-prone for an oncologist. Therefore, a technology that can autonomously separate the GI tract's healthy organs is required. With the help of the automated system, radio oncologists can perform treatments more quickly. This study proposes using a deep learning-based UNet model with ResNet as an encoder to distinguish between the many healthy GI tract organs. UW Madison's gastrointestinal (GI) database was used for the implementation. There are 38496 MRI scans stored in the database using run-length encoding (RLE). We have calculated the model loss, IoU coefficient, and dice coefficient to assess the quality of the suggested model.

Demand Side Management in Smart Home using Grey Wolf Optimization 基于灰狼优化的智能家居需求侧管理

In highly developed Smart Homes, Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS) are considered to deal with the use of energy. In order to balance the supply and the demand, an Optimal Home Energy Management (OHEM) system is proposed in this paper to manage time slot for the use of electric appliance with the economic benefits in electricity tariffs including the customer satisfaction. For Demand Response (DR), Real Time Pricing (RTP) is considered on hourly basis in the electricity tariff plan. First, the constrained optimization problem is formulated into a mathematical function and the objective function is established. In this an objective function is defined by utility function that maximizes the customer satisfaction and reduces the electricity tariff. Minimization of Objective function is performed by the Grey Wolf Optimisation (GWO) Algorithm which gives the optimal solution. The simulation result shows that by using the GWO algorithm in an OHEM system, electrical appliances can be managed in appropriate time slots to improve electricity rates with reasonable compromise on consumer satisfaction. In addition, electricity cost and consumer satisfaction can be adjusted by varying weighting parameter in an objective function.
