Study on Delivery of Military Drones and Transport UGVs with Time Constraints Using Hybrid Genetic Algorithms 基于混合遗传算法的军用无人机和运输ugv交付研究

This paper studies the method of delivering munitions using both drones and UGVs that are developing along with the 4th Industrial Revolution. While drones are more mobile than UGVs, their loading capacity is small, and UGVs have relatively less mobility than drones, but their loading capacity is better. Therefore, by simultaneously operating these two delivery means, each other's shortcomings may be compensated. In addition, on actual battlefields, time constraints are an important factor in delivering munitions. Therefore, assuming an actual battlefield environment with a time limit, we establish delivery routes that minimize delivery time by operating both drones and UGVs with different capacities and speeds. If the delivery is not completed within the time limit, penalties are imposed. We devised the hybrid genetic algorithm to find solutions to the proposed model, and as results of the experiment, we showed the algorithm we presented solved the actual size problems in a short time.

An Analysis on the Reduction of Measurement Time Using Interpolation Algorithm in Near-field RCS Measurements for Aircraft Shape 飞机形状近场RCS测量中插值算法缩短测量时间的分析

The importance of stealth technology is increasing in modern warfare, and Radar Cross Section(RCS) is widely used as an indicator of stealth technology. It is useful to measure RCS using an image-based near-field to far-field transformation algorithm in short-range monostatic conditions. However, the near-field measurement system requires a longer measurement time compared to other methods. In this work, it is proposed to reduce the measured data using an interpolation method in azimuth angular domain. The calculated far-field RCS values according to the sampling rate is shown, and the performance of the algorithm applied with interpolation in the angular domain is presented. It is shown that measurement samples can be reduced several times by using the redundancy in the angular domain while producing results similar to the conventional method.

An Application of Surrogate and Resampling for the Optimization of Success Probability from Binary-Response Type Simulation 代理和重采样在二元响应型仿真成功概率优化中的应用

Since traditional derivative-based optimization for noisy simulation shows bad performance, evolutionary algorithms are considered as substitutes. Especially in case when outputs are binary, more simulation trials are needed to get near-optimal solution since the outputs are discrete and have high and heterogeneous variance. In this paper, we propose a genetic algorithm called SARAGA which adopts dynamic resampling and fitness approximation using surrogate. SARAGA reduces unnecessary numbers of expensive simulations to estimate success probabilities estimated from binary simulation outputs. SARAGA allocates number of samples to each solution dynamically and sometimes approximates the fitness without additional expensive experiments. Experimental results show that this novel approach is effective and proper hyper parameter choice of surrogate and resampling can improve the performance of algorithm.

A Study on Mine Localization of Forward Looking Sonar Considering the Effect of Underwater Sound Refraction 考虑水声折射影响的前视声呐水雷定位研究

Mine detection has been mainly studied with images of the forward-looking sonar. Forward-looking sonar assumes the propagation path of the sound wave as a straight path, creating the surrounding images. This might lead to errors in the detection by ignoring the refraction of the sound wave. In this study, we propose a mine localization method that can robustly identify the location of mines in an underwater environment by considering the refraction of sound waves. We propose a method of estimating the elevation angle of arrival of the target echo signal in a single receiver, and estimate the mine location by applying the estimated elevation angle of arrival to ray tracing. As a result of simulation, the method proposed in this paper was more effective in estimating the mine localization than the existing method that assumed the propagation path as a straight line.

The Study of Automatic TOD Synchronization for Air-Ground Radio Performance Improving in Legacy Aircraft 改进传统飞机空地无线电性能的自动TOD同步研究

In this paper, we proposed an automatic TOD synchronization and verification method for improving the performance of air-to-ground radio(hereafter SATURN) of legacy aircraft. In order to automatically synchronize TOD with SATURN radio, it is proposed to modify the GPS antenna installed in the existing aircraft according to the minimum operating performance standard. In addition, test methods and results are presented to verify the TOD information generation capability before and after the GPS antenna modifying. It is expected that the automatic TOD synchronization method proposed in this paper can be applied to the SATURN performance improvement design.
本文提出了一种改进传统飞机空对地无线电(以下简称SATURN)性能的TOD自动同步与验证方法。为了实现TOD与SATURN无线电的自动同步,建议对现有飞机上安装的GPS天线进行修改,使其符合最小运行性能标准。并给出了GPS天线改造前后TOD信息生成能力的测试方法和结果。期望本文提出的TOD自动同步方法可以应用到SATURN的性能改进设计中。

Object Detection Accuracy Improvements of Mobility Equipments through Substitution Augmentation of Similar Objects 通过相似物体的替换增强提高移动设备的目标检测精度

A vast amount of labeled data is required for deep neural network training. A typical strategy to improve the performance of a neural network given a training data set is to use data augmentation technique. The goal of this work is to offer a novel image augmentation method for improving object detection accuracy. An object in an image is removed, and a similar object from the training data set is placed in its area. An in-painting algorithm fills the space that is eliminated but not filled by a similar object. Our technique shows at most 2.32 percent improvements on mAP in our testing on a military vehicle dataset using the YOLOv4 object detector.

Synthesis of the Tetrazolium Derivatives for Ionic Liquid Rocket Fuel and a Study of Their Ignition Delay Time and Viscosity 离子液体火箭燃料四氮唑衍生物的合成及其滞燃时间和粘度的研究

In order to use the liquid rocket fuel, 1,5-diamino-4-methyltetrazolium azide, [DMT]+[N3]- and 1,5-diamino-4-methyltetrazolium cyanide, [DMT]+[CN]- were synthesized and prepared the ionic liquid rocket fuel after dissolving the synthesized solid-type energetic chemicals in hydrazine, respectively. The thermal decomposition temperatures(Td) and densities(d) of the prepared ionic liquid rocket fuels were about 200 ℃ and above 1.0 g/cm3 respectively. The ignition delay times(Idt) of the ionic liqud rock fuels with [DMT]+[N3]- and [DMT]+[CN]- were in a range of 26.6 - 82.5 ms and the 44.0 - 98.5 ms, respectively. These results mean that the synthesized tetrazolium salts could be used as an ionic liquid rocket fuels. The viscosities of the ionic liqud rock fuels with [DMT]+[N3]- and [DMT]+[CN]-, which were dissolved in mixture solution of hydrazine/2-hydroxyethylhydrazine were to be 1.34 - 101 cP, and 1.29 - 80.5 cP, respectively. The synthesized ionic liquid rocket fuels in this study could be used as rocket fuel because the [Idt(100 ms or less), Td(150 ℃ or more), d(1.00 g/cm3 or more), and η (40.0~ 100 cP)] were achieved to satisfy the range of the used liquid rocket fuels.

This study aims to introduce missile live-fire during the ship operational test and evaluation(T&E) as a means of verifying the integrated combat capability(ICC) of various systems installed on naval ships. The research method identified domestic and foreign T&E systems and cases, and reports related to ICC, which were written during the ship's design stage. As a result of research, Republic of Korea is not conducting the missile live-fire at the ship T&E stage due to the lack of relevant systems, while the U.S. is conducting it based on the mission-based T&E and the end-to-end test system. As a way to improve within the current domestic ship acquisition systems, the reaction time analysis, a quantitative analysis result of ICC calculated at the ship basic design stage, was proposed to be verified by missile live-fire during ship operational T&E.

SAR Recognition of Target Variants Using Channel Attention Network without Dimensionality Reduction 无降维信道注意网络SAR目标变体识别

In implementing a robust automatic target recognition(ATR) system with synthetic aperture radar(SAR) imagery, one of the most important issues is accurate classification of target variants, which are the same targets with different serial numbers, configurations and versions, etc. In this paper, a deep learning network with channel attention modules is proposed to cope with the recognition problem for target variants based on the previous research findings that the channel attention mechanism selectively emphasizes the useful features for target recognition. Different from other existing attention methods, this paper employs the channel attention modules without dimensionality reduction along the channel direction from which direct correspondence between feature map channels can be preserved and the features valuable for recognizing SAR target variants can be effectively derived. Experiments with the public benchmark dataset demonstrate that the proposed scheme is superior to the network with other existing channel attention modules.

Analysis of Deception Jamming Effects on FM Radio based Passive Radar 调频无源雷达欺骗干扰效果分析

In this paper, we analyze the performance of an FM radio based passive radar in the presence of deception jamming such as false-target generation. To do this, we examine the effects of applying the deception jamming signal to the passive radar through the derivation of the construction of the amplitude-range-Doppler(ARD) plot. The analysis results show that applying the deception jamming signal with the low power similar to the target echo signal generates false targets at positions set by the jamming variables compared to the real target position in the ARD plot. Also, it is possible to induce the jamming effect so that only false targets are detected by selecting appropriate jamming power. Simulations are included to verify the theoretical results and to discuss on the effectiveness of the deception jamming on the FM radio based passive radar.
