Este articulo aborda al neoliberalismo y al neopopulismo a partir de la logica de la inmanencia biopolitica, proponiendo asi su actual convivencia, en contraste con su tradicional caracterizacion como manifestaciones opuestas en cuanto a dinamicas de representatividad. A lo largo del texto se expone como del neoliberalismo se han derivado patrones de consumo e imaginarios que se relacionan con el debilitamiento de la pertenencia ideologica y las formas tipicas de autoridad propias de los populismos.

La crisis economica y financiera ha dado lugar a profundas transformaciones, relativas tambien a las relaciones entre la Union Europea y los Estados miembros en el ambito de la llamada gobernanza economica. Este articulo se centra en las formas contemporaneas de esclavitud como otra etapa despues de la “esclavitud de los antiguos” y la “esclavitud de los modernos”. Aportando algunos ejemplos, hoy en dia se tiene que repensar este fenomeno en una perspectiva global, siempre tomando en cuenta el hecho de que la definicion de corps d’exception y de human wastes podria ayudar a ir mas alla del nuevo abolicionismo.

Este artículo desafía una tendencia extendida en el debate contemporáneo sobre biopolítica, que consiste en infundir un valor moral intrínseco y normativo en la nuda vida. El resultado es una noción vitalista de la vida, base para plantear propuestas políticas que, al expresar su máxima esencia, se convierten en las únicas formas justas de política. Argumentaremos que las nociones morales de la vida surgen, pues, al combinar lo que Foucault define como el “umbral de la modernidad biológica”, la biopolítica contemporánea ha dejado atrás “el más inquietante de todos los huéspedes”. Aunque una parte decisiva de su filosofía tomara una dirección opuesta, en un pasaje parentético de Más allá del bien y del mal, Nietzsche percibe la identidad de esta misteriosa figura:

Gone are the days, when power was defined by military sources, in other words, hard power. Now, power in terms of ideas, persuasion, which is defined as soft power, influences the world. The present paper is an attempt to study and analyze soft power as a foreign policy tool, and how Indian Diaspora (ID) as a soft power, has played a role in the promotion of bilateral relationship between India and the US.

The aim of this paper is to explore the relationship between Foucault’s analysis of neoliberalism as a form of governmentality and Deleuze Postscript on societies of control. It begins with the issue of the entrepreneur of the self and his machinic character. Then, it suggests the figure of Man-Machine of Discipline and Punish as a key to historical intelligibility which coincides with the Deleuzian history of machines. Finally, from that relationship and the notion of machinic enslavement the paper aims to understand the entrepreneur of the self as an informatic machine and the current technologies of power in terms of cybernetics governmentality.

Europa afronta hoy un dilema: ser cosmopolita o dejar de serlo. El peligro de desintegracion de la Union Europea anunciado por los resultados del reciente brexit y por el auge de los populismos de derecha en toda Europa reclama un ejercicio de soft power por parte de la Union Europea en materias relacionadas con la negociacion y la resolucion de conflictos en su espacio interno. Esta capacidad, sin embargo, parece estar ausente. Este articulo defiende que, para recuperar una capacidad consistente de soft power, la Union Europea tiene que disenar una estrategia hegemonica destinada a construir una identidad europea liquida, a partir de una posicion de sujeto democratico que puede definirse como fuertemente cosmopolita.

The health constitutionalization is directly related to the democratization process in Latin America starting from the 80s. In the following decades we lived, as stated by Bobbio, “an era of rights”1, where most of the social demands became social rights.
