Climate change has had an impact on increasing hydrometeorological disasters in Indonesia. the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates, until mid-May 2020 Indonesia is threatened with a hydrometeorological disaster. Most of the Indonesian people are in areas prone to hydrometeorological disasters. To reduce its impact, the government needs to make adaptation efforts to climate change, which are carried out holistically and integrated by involving all elements of society and the government by referring to the National Action Plan for Climate Change Adaptation in Indonesia that has been prepared by the government of Indonesia.

The Gunungsewu karst area is not only known for its unique landscape but also its recurring drought events. To meet the water supply, the local population utilizes several water potentials, namely doline pond, spring, and underground river. This study was designed to analyze the hydrogeological conditions of Mbangsri Cave, following its accidental discovery by the community at the end of 2018. The hydrogeological analysis was conducted by geological surveys, which consisted of rocks collection and structural measurements, cave mapping, and recharge area delineation based on remote sensing images acquired by unmanned aerial vehicles. The results showed that Mbangsri Cave, in the hydrogeological perspective, had low water resources potential. It is believed to be the result of (1) relatively small catchment area, (2) a fault in the southern part of Mbangsri Cave, creating a small groundwater basin, and (3) the thin epikarst layer, limiting the water storage.

One of the Batang Hari watersheds flows in the Jorong Gasing area of Nagari Lubuk Ulang-Aling, Sangir Batang Hari. In this area, for generations, people use river water for various activities such as irrigating rice fields, transportation facilities, inland fisheries, and toilet washing facilities. But a few years ago there began to be an Unlicensed Gold Mining (PETI) activity. As a result, the condition of the Batang Hari river is alarming, as the level of turbidity is very high, damage to the right-left border of the river, destruction of forest areas, and even affect the social and economic life of the community. Therefore, this research was conducted to describe and prove the full impact of the PETI activity. The results showed a decrease in the quality of Batang Hari Hari river, specifically TSS parameters. The over function land was very significant where land cover in 2000 was 61.22 ha of secondary dryland forest to 25.18 ha in 2017. There was evidence of changes in socio-economic life with 63% of the surrounding community no longer utilizing river water, mutual cooperation activities are decreasing, conflicts often occur, as well as an increase in the economy but its growth is unpredictable.

Learning is characterized by the use of good questioning skills , especially in learning for large groups of children. Skills in question play an important role in student learning activities. The low skill of students asking in the learning process can lead to disruption of an effective learning process and must be handled by the BK teacher appropriately. Questions are one of the stimuli of thinking that is good for teaching students. The research method used is R & D (Research and Development) by following the steps in developing the ADDIE pattern (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subject of the research trial consisted of experts to test the feasibility of the model, the BK teacher to assess the suitability of the model, and students to test the effectiveness. The study was conducted by collecting initial data as a material for consideration in preparing the initial model which was then tested for its suitability and effectiveness through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and expert testing. The results of this study show that the students' skills in question are in the high category.

The function change of land in upstream areas of subwatershed Cikapundung is very difficult to control. Most of the land has been turned into residential areas and vegetable crops. Land is currently a source of life, so it is exploited to get maximum results and income. If it is not managed properly, the land will be degraded and eventually become critical. In order for the land to be sustainable it needs an environmentally friendly farming farming system for vegetable conservation The results showed that there were two technologies for specific vegetable crop conservation systems in upstream areas of subwatershed Cikapungdung that were environmentally friendly, namely (1) Conservation farming system of bench terrace conservation, beds cutting slopes, using manure + lime, plastic mulch installed, planting system of intercropping/ overlapping rotating vegetables on land with slope of 15-25%. The conservation farming system is able to control erosion from 69.93 to 7.18 t/ha/year or by 89.73% and (2) a farming system for conservation of ridge terraces, beds cutting slopes, using manure + lime, installed plastic mulch, system for planting intercropping/overlapping vegetables on land with a slope of 8-15%. The conservation farming system is able to reduce erosion from 37.41 to 15.27 t/ha / year or 59.18%. The two conservative farming systems above are financially profitable as indicated by the value of BC Ratio> 1, NVP> 0, and IRR> The prevailing Social Discount Rate or Bank interest, which is around 12% indicated by the value of BC Ratio> 1, NVP > 0, and IRR> Current Social Discount Rate or Bank interest, which is around 12%.

Most of the land has been turned into residential areas and vegetable crops. Land is currently a source of life, so it is exploited to get maximum results and income. If it is not managed properly, the land will be degraded and eventually become critical. In order for the land to be sustainable it needs an environmentally friendly farming farming system for vegetable conservation The results showed that there were two technologies for specific vegetable crop conservation systems in upstream areas of subwatershed Cikapungdung that were environmentally friendly, namely (1) Conservation farming system of bench terrace conservation, beds cutting slopes, using manure + lime, plastic mulch installed, planting system of intercropping/ overlapping rotating vegetables on land with slope of 15-25%. The conservation farming system is able to control erosion from 69.93 to 7.18 t/ha/year or by 89.73% and (2) a farming system for conservation of ridge terraces, beds cutting slopes, using manure + lime, installed plastic mulch, system for planting intercropping/overlapping vegetables on land with a slope of 8-15%. The conservation farming system is able to reduce erosion from 37.41 to 15.27 t/ha / year or 59.18%. The two conservative farming systems above are financially profitable as indicated by the value of BC Ratio> 1, NVP> 0, and IRR> The prevailing Social Discount Rate or Bank interest, which is around 12% indicated by the value of BC Ratio> 1, NVP > 0, and IRR> Current Social Discount Rate or Bank interest, which is around 12%.","PeriodicalId":174212,"journal":{"name":"Sumatra Journal of Disaster, Geography and Geography Education","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128600458","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
