In recent years,recycled glass has been widely used as aggregate replacements in concrete. Owing to the aesthetic potential of the coloured recycled glass,this research aims to fully utilize this advantage for their higher end uses,such as architectural mortar. In this study,architectural white cement mortar was produced with a self consolidating method using recycled glass as the aggregate. An adequate amount of Metakaolin was incorporated into the mortar to mitigate the adverse effect of alkali-silica reaction. The results show that the self-compacting method is suitable to produce architectural mortar containing up to 100% recycled glass. Overall,the performance of all the architectural mortar mixtures in terms of both fresh and hardened properties was good.

This paper is aimed to study the factors influencing rheological properties of cement paste with fly ash,including the quantity of cement replaced by fly ash,types of the fly ash,degree of cement hydration and the microstructure of cement paste. By changing the water-cement ratio,mixing different amounts of fly ash,adding different types fly ash,the rheological parameters of cement paste are measured with a rheometer,and the needle penetration are tested by Vical needle. A ultrasound velocity test was aslo employed to monitor hydration of paste at early ages. Combinations of different factors on the rheological properties of cement paste are studied. The objective is to reveal the effect mechanism of material nature and proportion of each component on the rheological properties of cement paste with fly ash.

The research on the coordinating deformation between the Fiber Bragg Grating strain sensor(FBG) and asphalt mixture is the precondition and foundation to solve the application of the FBG in asphalt pavement.The testing method about the coordinating deformation between them was designed,the viscoelastic parameters of asphalt mixture was obtained by dynamic single axle-load creep test and a 3D finite element model with ABAQUS software was established to analyze the stress and strain fields redistribution close to the location of the FBG and the plastic deformation of asphalt mixture due to the existing of high-modulus FBG,and the influence of the modulus of the FBG on the strain and stress fields was discussed.The result indicates that the existence of high modulus sensor results in the redistribution of stress and strain fields,but it cannot limit the plastic deformation development of the asphalt mixture;the stress and strain fields are more sensitive to the modulus of the sensor,with the decrease of the sensor modulus,the influences on the result decreases gradually.At last,we may obtain the influence curve of the strain field under different sensor modulus and modified the measured information obtained by FBG to get the precise strain result.

A photonic crystal slab, consisting of an array of circular sub-micron diameter holes in Silicon on Insulator (SOI), has been fabricated using focused ion beam (FIB) milling. This application requires the sidewalls of the holes to be very smooth and as nearly perpendicular to the slab as possible. The shape of holes is adversely affected by redeposition of milled material. The effects on the sidewall shape due to different FIB parameters, such as beam current, dwell time, and scanning pattern have been researched. It is shown that a spiral-shaped scanning pattern performs much better than the conventional rater scan. A combination of dwell time, beam current and number of scanning loops, optimising the geometry of holes, has been determined.

The milling requires the sidewalls as nearly perpendicular to the slab as possible and the top profile of the holes to be smooth. The re-deposition of milled material exaggerates the hole profiles. The effects on the sidewall profile and the top periphery due to the beam current, dwell time, and the extra boundary milling have been researched. It turns out that a combination of beam current, dwell time, and milling depth has optimized the sidewalls and top periphery of the holes.

Firstly, the current research activities and shortages of supplier's performance evaluation system are summarized and analyzed, and then the classifying model of supplier is proposed. Then the performance evaluation index system is originally constructed based on the dynamic model of supplier. Secondly, the Logarithm Triangular Fuzzy Number- AHP method is creatively used to study the strategic supplier performance evaluation index system. It is found that this method is a scientific qualitative and quantitative evaluating strategy overcoming the deadly disadvantages, for example experts can give definite value objectively when the traditional AHP method is used to value certainty and the qualitative index. What is more important, the real examples are researched and studied according to theoretical analysis. Finally, one case is used to explain fairness and rationality of Logarithm Triangular Fuzzy Number- AHP method used in the strategic supplier performance evaluation system.

Based on the theoretical assumption of "bounded rationality",researchers defined kinds of multiattribute processing strategies and heuristics.The consumer decision rules became more simpler and need less rationality.Recent studies found out that emotion,which was usually considered irrational,played an important role in consumer decision-making.Some researchers even put forward affect heuristics,again challenged the effect of rationality in decision-making.
